Very friendly atmosphere and I stay when I need to wind down from stress...the whole staff knows me well.

I stay here often and have never had a bad time.

Worst experience ever! I am a Hilton Honors Gold member and have been very loyal for the last 15 years and this was the worst experience ever. My wife and I booked a much needed weekend getaway to celebrate finishing her final round of chemotherapy for breast cancer. After making the paid in advance reservation online, I called Hilton Honors directly and confirmed the reservation and was told that everything was all set. Finally the day here. We arrived at the hotel early and decided to check in with the hope of our room being ready early. We were warmly greeted at the reception desk and pleasantly surprised to hear that our room was ready and we could go ahead and check in. I was asked to go ahead and swipe my card like every other time. This is when everything turned wrong! Instead of the usual hold for incidentals like always when we have paid in advance, the charge was going to be for double what the stay was originally. When I questioned the amount as it was paid in full, the representative said that it was not paid in advance. After questioning the details and confirming my identity and reservation number, the representative called what I have to assume was the manager and informed me that the original reservation was cancelled by either Hilton or the hotel two days earlier and a new reservation was created that morning and had to be paid in full at the current rate. This made no sense, but I still remained calm relying on my previous 15 years of good experiences at…

Jack at the front desk was outstanding. Friendly, professional, and went out of his way to make sure everything was taken care of during my stay. It’s clear he takes pride in his work and genuinely cares about the guests’ experience. Customer service like his is hard to find these days. Good location Clean rooms Friendly staff You have to pay for parking and beach service

My husband and I got the oceanfront 2 room suite with balcony on the 8th floor and could not have been more pleased. The room was clean and I felt comfortable using the cleaned dresser drawers. We stayed five nights and saved money making use of the mini fridge and microwave. The beds were comfortable and we enjoyed listening to the waves crashing onto the shore at night from the room. The nighttime view from the balcony of the moon over the ocean was breathtaking. We had an added bonus of seeing two rocket launches from our balcony during our stay, as well. The beach was a very short distance with access directly from the pool area. We rented the full set cabana two days. We stayed Sunday through Friday and could see that there are many more people on the weekends so weekdays were much quieter. I highly recommend staying here. Hilton never disappoints.

Clean rooms with a great view. We were in double bed with separate couch suite. The pool was good. They do have beach service that you can rent chairs and umbrella all day for $40. It can be charged to your room if you do not want to bring cash. Lots of restaurants in a short drive. The beach was quiet and away from the chaos of Daytona beach. Compared to Daytona, that is still recovering from the past hurricanes, everything here is operational and a lot less expensive. The staff were kind and accommodating. Don't forget those double tree warm cookies you get at check I !

This Hilton property is just a gem. You can’t beat the location (quieter beach than up the road)! Every staff we’ve encountered has been genuinely pleasant from Monica at the front desk to Craig wandering through the pool area making sure everyone was happy, and Adam at the tiki bar. The pool is smaller and tends to get crowded quickly. Down on the beach you can rent 2 chairs and umbrella all day for $40 (“all day” ends at 5pm). The rooms are spacious, and the bed was amazingly comfortable. However- the sliding door to the balcony almost took 2 of us to slide open. Elevators are quick! The food stands out also- we had a burger at the tiki bar as well as coconut shrimp and both were quite tasty! By far one of the most important things for me is the coffee and I was absolutely pleased at how good it is! Pro tip: fill up a cup of coffee in the lobby before going in for breakfast- save yourself $5. Will definitely be back in the future. One of our favorite properties.

All I can say is what a wonderful place to stay ! Just steps away from the beach .Our family will be back . From the staff to the rooms /amenities everything was top notch!

I know, but they deserved every star! I had reservations and my card was declined. “Forgot to update bank of my traveling out of state.” Doubletree held my room until I mitigated the issue. Which was awesome because I booked this room weeks ago! Then, it was Hubby’s birthday. Jack was able to send my husband a delicious slice of cheesecake wishing him a happy birthday with his name on it! I called front desk for an issue and Sue Anne helped me tremendously! Oh, now to the rooms! Clean and smelled clean! Not one stain on the sheets! Luzol did an excellent job cleaning the room. And the access to the Beach with chairs and umbrellas were the icing on the cake! You just felt like you were on a 5 star hotel on Rodeo Drive! Thank you Double Tree for making my family feel like your number 1 most important guests!

I don’t even know where to begin. I work in the customer service industry myself and take pride in my work so I know when recognition is due and this place deserves every bit of it. From the agent that accommodated us (Kimberly&Linda) with our reservation, to the front desk (Jack) that had our room ready early for check in due to a problem we had at the place beforehand making sure to give us complimentary warm cookies on our way to the room, to the absolute warming and exceptional service at the bar with Katie and Adam who made my stay here even better before it really started; giving me nothing more but reasons to want to comes back. Last but certainly not least I got the pleasure to speaking to the manger Greg just to make sure he knew how grateful I was for his staff being on their toes and easily understand why they’ve been there for so long working because it’s exactly the type of environment you want to be in for work. Not so short but definitely sweet I just want to end off by giving a huge appreciation to this hotel, the management, and everyone one of the staff. I will most certainly be returning because if it was up to me I’d stay at this beautiful ocean view establishment days on end. Thank you for the stay I wanted and was hoping for the day after my birthday.

Very clean and affordable!!

This hotel is very nice: clean, great location, great rooms with a great view and very nice employees. Food is a bit pricey and their coffee has a lot to be desired, even though they just started a new brand trying to improve on it; my recommendation in this day and age is to get a coffee shop in the hotel, as they already have outside customers using their beach area by entering through the hotel.

Great experience! My family and I really enjoyed our time here. Jack, Sue Ann, Josue and Greg are amazing and made sure our stay here was great. Thank you guys so much for the service that was provided.

Everyone I interacted with was very kind and helpful! Renting a cabana on the beach was easy and awesome to have! The room was nice and cool and the balcony was nice to have. So many places to just sit and listen to the waves. The surrounding community has some many great places to stop and visit! I will definitely stay here again.

Best hotel on the beach

This hotel is awesome. Clean friendly, great location. This was a last minute hotel two years ago. We have never looked back. We will be staying here from now on.
