Community Rating
Reviews via GoogleWhat diners say — our read
An average is a poor summary when the underlying reviews look like this. Front-of-house cuts both ways here, averaging 3.9 among the reviews that raise it. Freshness and temperature is the next most common subject, in 20% of reviews (averaging 4.5).
Behind those, speed of service is raised in 20% of reviews (3.3 average). Of the 20 rated reviews, 14 sit at four stars or better and 3 at two or below. The single most common rating left here is 5 stars (14 of 20).
Against that, the kitchen inspects well — an A (96/100), 4 basic violations at the most recent DBPR visit. The visit behind that grade was January 29, 2026. Its inspection trajectory is upward over the records we hold. That puts it ahead of 62% of graded kitchens in Brevard County. For specifics, the last inspection cited cross-contamination and nonfood-contact surfaces clean.
With both signals pointing the same way, there is little to argue about on this listing. The underlying reviews are reproduced in full underneath.

The hamburger was cooked to my specification. Ribs & chicken were moist & tender. Extra sauce from mild to spicy is available.

Great BBQ. Great salad bar, great sides.
-
Great place to take the family and have a good barbecue

Service is fast and friendly but that’s where anything good ends the food is tasteless some of the worst brisket I have ever had barely had two thin slices meat price $15 dollars ice tea was good fries where okay beans okay but any of the meat being pork or beef was just not good it’s like they know there going out of business and getting the cheapest meat Sysco has so if you like terrible bbq get yours here before they go out of business I have eaten here before and it was good for what it was but now don’t waste your money one big YUCK

Okay, but first i'm dustin's located on wickham road is the one I go to great barbecue pork beef sandwiches, fish sandwiches are fish baskets?Great iced tea, ice cream, clean, good service owners, a good friend of mine, and he's all about business taking care of that place, support dustin's if you like barbecue...

Got excited at the Salad Bar selections, but the food tasted full of preservatives or enhancers, like factory-made. Not as bad as Sysco. $40 for 2 lunches seems expensive for sliced pork and soup/salad bar, plus brisket for my wife. We usually share a meal, but can't do that at an unlimited salad bar.

Brittney, the catering manager at Dustin's BBQ, was an absolute pleasure to work with when arranging the catering for our dad's recent celebration of life following his funeral. She made 100% certain that our order was perfect and communicated with my sister via phone calls. We'd previously worked with Brittney on a much happier occasion (my dad's 80th birthday several years ago) and just knew that Dustin's BBQ was the perfect choice for his celebration of life. So, do ask for Brittney if you want the best for your catered event. She's a treasure! ⭐ The food was promptly delivered to the venue by Austin, a very professional and helpful young man. He arrived a few minutes early and made sure to set everything up and confirm the entire order with us before he left. He then asked if there was anything else he could do for us before he left the venue. Austin knew how important the occasion was to get right and it showed. He's a total pro! ✨ The food we chose was pulled pork, smoked chicken quarters (white and dark meat) and our sides were Hawaiian sweet rolls, green beans and macaroni and cheese. We also had ice cold gallons of tea and lemonade. They provided all serving spoons, eating utensils, plates, cups, lots of napkins, and even extra ice. The guests at my dad's celebration of life LOVED everything! I was most pleasantly surprised by the smoked chicken. It was SO flavorful without being dry. The variety of hot sauces that Dustin's provided were also the perfect addition to…

Friendly service by Amelia. Hubby enjoyed the soup and salad bar. Brunswick stew was the best of the 3 soup offerings. The sliced pork plate consisted of paper thin pork. Corn bread was deliciously crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Beef Brisket was served lean, but extremely salty. Baked beans were tasty but so hot they singed my mouth. Coleslaw was ordinary, as were the BBQ sauces. The free Soft Serve Ice Cream was a nice way to end a mediocre meal.

The brisket was delicious. I love their beans.

1st time to Dustins on Wickham rd, Melbourne Florida, Waited almost 5 minutes for someone to take drink order. Very little selection bar wise. No bottle beer. Service sucked. Had to get out of seat to ask for boxes and bill. Not going back

Been going here anytime that I'm in the mood for but good BBQ. Have been coming here for years and have never been disappointed.

Jenny was my server. She was so fast, friendly, and efficient. I got there - waited zero minutes before she came and got my drink order. Then I ordered my food and she brought it out before i had my first sip. Now that is SERVICE!!!!!
