What diners say — our read

One subject runs through these 18 reviews more than any other: front-of-house. Reviewers who mention the staff rate this place 4.5 on average — it is working in the restaurant’s favour.

15 of 18 rated reviews are four stars or higher; 3 are two or lower. More reviewers landed on 5 stars than any other score — 15 of 18. What nobody raises here is serving size — it goes unmentioned across all 18 reviews.

Against that, the kitchen inspects well — an A (95/100), 1 intermediate and 2 basic violations at the most recent DBPR visit. That result dates from November 5, 2025. That puts it ahead of 58% of graded kitchens in Brevard County. What the inspector actually wrote up: food-contact surfaces clean and sanitized and handwash sinks accessible.

Nothing here pulls in opposite directions — an unusually clean read. Full reviews follow below in the order they were left.

  • June 20, 2026

Completely surprised on our recent visit. The server we had was awful. Unfriendly, rude Lacking basic serving skills, we literally had to ask for everything. Unusual for this longhorn as we’ve had great servers. The food was 10/10 per usual.

Nicole at the bar, is the ultimate example of friendly, knowledgeable and efficient customer service. The food at Longhorn is fresh, plentiful and served nice and warm as it should be. Keep up the great job!

    Got food to go.

Been several times but this time my food was cold and my steak was flat and leather. Baked potato ice cold and stale brocoli cold . Just the worst I've had there .

Great steak. Soups are also yummy. I get the chicken sandwich for lunch with french onion soup! So good! I also order the ribs to go for dinner. They fall off the bone!

Always love coming here. I got the steak salad and had to ask about soybean oil in the dressings due to a sensitivity that's basically an allergy, and our server, Taylor, was so sweet. She not only showed me the nutritional menu on her phone, but also pointed out the QR on the back of the menu for me to scan, and came back a few minutes later letting me know that she looked at the dressings with her manager and the kitchen manager (or someone in the kitchen staff.) Anyone else that needs the info - all dressings except the white balsamic vinaigrette has soybean oil. The WBV has canola oil.

You know when I walked into this place I half expected it to be like all the other chain. Steakhouses. You wait forever to get a seat, it takes forever for your server to get to your table to take your order. Then when you ask for your steak to be cooked a certain way 90% of the time it's never cooked the way you ask for it to be cooked. But I must say, the second I walked in the great experience started with the hostess Kendall. She had this bright, beautiful smile and a very outgoing personality. She asked me if I had ever been with them before and I said not this location but I have been to other longhorn steakhouses as well as other chain steakhouses in the past. Before telling her that I am a Google reviewer she said to me well. Then at the end you'll have to tell me how your experience was and how you would rate us against the others. I found this profound considering she's just a hostess. And what difference does it make on how she sees how? I enjoy my time there. But I must say everybody seems to care at this place. My server was Ciara, and she was very attentive and also very quick when it comes to cleaning off tables. When I had completed my meal I turned away for one second as she came by and swooped in to grab my plate. I ordered the sirloin and the broccoli with rice pilaf because I'm on a Mediterranean diet and I have been watching what I eat and I wanted to make sure that there wasn't a lot of calories. The steak was cooked perfectly medium rare. I'm amazed at…
