Reviews via GoogleWhat diners say — our read
The crowd and the inspector reached the same conclusion. Reviewers who mention front-of-house rate this place 4.2 on average — it is working in the restaurant’s favour. After that, freshness and temperature appears most often — 25% of the corpus, averaging 3.4.
A third strand, speed of service, appears in 15% of them at 3.0 stars. Of the 20 rated reviews, 17 sit at four stars or better and 2 at two or below. The single most common rating left here is 5 stars (16 of 20).
The health record runs ahead of the reviews. The last DBPR inspection returned an A (96/100) with 1 intermediate and 1 basic violations. The visit behind that grade was January 14, 2026. Across its inspection history the kitchen is improving, which argues for giving it the benefit of the doubt. Ranked against Brevard County, it is safer than 62% of the restaurants we score. For specifics, the last inspection cited food-contact surfaces clean and sanitized and other conditions of sanitary & safe operation.
Both measures agree, which is the least complicated version of this page. Full reviews follow below in the order they were left.

Great atmosphere.

Best Roast Beef on Weck south of the Mason Dixon line! Marvelous potato salad too. 😁
-
Excellent craft drinks and food! The orange crush is my favorite, and I still think the original roast beef on kemmelweck is the best. Their staff is friendly and fun. For a chill time, check them out.

5/5 Stars (A+ Grade) — A Must-Visit for a Real Taste of Buffalo! If you are craving an authentic, flawlessly executed Beef on Weck, you don’t need to buy a plane ticket to Upstate New York. Just head straight to downtown Melbourne, Florida, and find a table at Main Street Pub. This place is the real deal, and they earn a well-deserved, absolute 100% A+ score. The Star of the Show: The Beef on Weck For the uninitiated, the Beef on Weck is a legendary staple born in Buffalo, New York, in the mid-19th century. Legend has it that a German baker introduced the unique roll, and a local pub owner realized that loading it with salty meat would keep patrons thirsty for beer. Main Street Pub honors this tradition perfectly. The key to the sandwich is the kummelweck roll (often pronounced kemmelick), which is topped with coarse kosher salt and caraway seeds. Main Street Pub uses incredibly fresh rolls that strike the perfect balance of savory and salty. Here is what sets them apart: They don't skimp on the meat: They pile the roast beef sky-high. They are not cheap whatsoever; it is loaded up generously. The Au Jus: The beef is incredibly tender, and the au jus sauce they serve with it is phenomenal—rich, savory, and perfect for dipping. The Beer: To wash it all down, they have an excellent selection of ice-cold draft beers on tap that pair beautifully with the salty, savory goodness of the sandwich. The Vibe and Atmosphere Beyond the incredible food, Main Street Pub is a fantastic…

Came here with a group, total of 9 people. The server took at least 20-30 minutes to come get orders. I asked for simple syrup for my drink twice before one of our group just went up to the bar and grabbed it himself. The food took forever, and the tots were stale tasting. I ordered a chicken Caesar wrap with light dressing and it was literally saturated. The wrap itself would’ve been great if the dressing had been put on correctly, but obviously the server failed to tell the kitchen I wanted light dressing. Pic for proof. The server never even checked in to see how food was after being served. Not sure if she was new of if this is just how the restaurant operates but would not recommend. I ended up going to Mister 01 to get full after leaving hungry.

Saw that they had a gyro with tzatziki sauce for a summer special and had side of naan… asked for just the side of naan and tzatziki and I kid you not, it was the best snack I’ve had all year, and I’ve been to Italy this year. Best naan. The table had more food and it was all incredible. So good! Will be returning.

If you read those best-bars-in-Florida lists, you have probably seen this place on one (or more) of them. Not sure it is equal to the all-time greats (Capt Tony's in Key West, Flora-Bama in the panhandle, Mai-Kai in Overland Park, The Clevelander on South Beach, etc), but it is an awesome Space Coast joint. Three bars (cozy inside, rooftop, and backyard tiki), above-average bar food, awesome staff, and that everybody-knows-your-name vibe! A must-stop in downtown Melbourne and worth the drive if you are anywhere nearby!

How dare I complain the food was not up to par! (My perception of the interaction) I used to be able to get the Beef on Wek rare, just like the picture, but something has changed in the kitchen and the beef is always hot, well done and tough. My objection was quickly dismissed by my failure of not getting there for the meat cutting at 11:30 when I complained recently, and resent the implication that I don’t know what I am talking about. Sandwich looks nothing like the picture. Never before have I complained about anything in this establishment, but after 14 years of patronage, I feel my money isn’t appreciated here.

Fantastic live Entertainment with Just Jim "Inman" Bartender, absolutely delightful and Roastbeef Sandwich was incredible.

I really felt sorry for the only waitress that was serving the outdoor area but she did an excellent job making sure that drinks were filled and orders were taken. The jazz musicians were very good. We really enjoyed the music. The food was surprisingly bad! Ihadthe nachos and the bottom chips were burnt. The cheese on top was so hard from being overcooked. It seemed like there was no meat or anything else but a load of jalapeños buried under the hard cheese. My husband and friends had the Thai chicken flatbread which was also overcooked and dry. We will return for the music but definitely not the food.

We frequent this establishment routinely, like every 2 weeks, and all is always refreshingly fun and interesting. The folks tending to us, "Morgan" & others, are always engaging and fun. The Wednesday "beef wecht" sandwich is awesome! Kimberly and I say thanks to all there!

Who knew it was more than a bar with live music on the weekends? Yes outdoors there is a tiki bar with live entertainment. Did you know they have entertainment Tuesday thru Saturday? The tiki and outdoor area opens at 4pm. You can enjoy meals from 11am inside the bar or open patio. I stopped for a snack and an adult beverage. The brie plate was the perfect snack. The bartender was very talented and attentive. Totally different vibe day vs night. Try both. Will be back soon!
