They do not disappoint, thank you all so much for the fast friendly and delicious breakfast for dinner

We had an early appointment (NPO) at the nearby VA so breakfast was definitely at the top of the agenda. The Metro was recommended by the VA staff and we made our introductory visit. WOW! Pleasant greeting, promptly seated and excellent service. Well done hash browns with scrambled eggs and Canadian bacon were perfectly prepared. Crispy bacon and a waffle for my wife. Superb meal and service with a smile (Mickey). Highly recommended.

This restaurant is very accommodating of allergies! I was relieved to find that the restaurant uses non dairy ( margarine) instead of butter on their cook surface. My cross contamination fears were quickly put to rest when the cook herself spoke to me upon arrival and the very compassionate staff spoke to me. Our server, Logan, was so friendly & engaging- his kindness really made the entire experience. Another employee, whose name I did not catch, personally offered us fresh coffee & beverages as well however Logan was very attentive. I asked for hot tea and he brought an entire assortment complete with a tiny tea kettle and honey . How divine! The atmosphere was perfect for us. Very retro, fun splashes of green, comfortable seating. I enjoyed the lively vibe and subtle noise level. Typically I am one to dart from an overly noisy establishment but this spot was the perfect mix of laid back and gentle laughter filling the air. I ordered a steak bowl that came with eggs, hash brown & roasted tomatoes. I requested avocado. My food was great however, the sirloin steak (which had great flavor) was quite tough; so much so that I really just could not eat it. I do not think this was any fault of the kitchen staff , the meat just appeared to be of a low quality cut which is obviously a possibility with sirloin but I would suggest the kitchen slice it thinly and marinade it to avoid this issue. Atmosphere was great and so was our server Teek, she was amazing and we definitely will be back.

My brother and I came in for breakfast and Teek was super accommodating to our gluten free needs. We also had decaf coffee which she made and it was super good too! She was very attentive to us and personable. Might be looking for her to be our server again next time!

Wow! My Spouse and I were very happy with this Diner. We walked in to a very well kept area and atmosphere to dine. One of the reasons we pick here, was the fact that they had a very good gluten-free menu for my Spouse to choose from due to her gluten allergy. The greeting from our waitress Teek was very cheerful and sweet. She helped us start off the day wonderful. The food was very nicely prepared; was fresh looking, tasty and cooked to perfection. We're from Virginia, and have decided that this is our place for breakfast while we're in town vacationing. I highly recommend this place. Amen

My wife and I just got back from Metro Dinner and once again an "Outstanding" experience . Emilia our waitress was super nice and accommodating . This restaurant is very casual and relaxing ,we will be back soon . The specials are very reasonable !
