Community Rating
Reviews via GoogleWhat diners say — our read
An average alone would undersell where this place is now. Reviews mentioning the staff average 3.2 stars, so it divides opinion rather than settling it. After that, how long an order takes appears most often — 29% of the corpus, averaging 4.3.
The corpus runs from Oct 2025 through May 2026 — not a single moment in time. More reviewers landed on 5 stars than any other score — 9 of 21. The split is 14 positive to 5 negative across 21 rated reviews, with 2 in the middle. Behind those, whether food comes out hot is raised in 19% of reviews (3.5 average).
The health record runs ahead of the reviews. The last DBPR inspection returned an A (98/100) with 2 basic violations. That result dates from May 21, 2026. That puts it ahead of 76% of graded kitchens in Brevard County. What the inspector actually wrote up: plumbing installed & maintained and current license, properly displayed.
The honest summary is that the evidence is mixed on both sides. Full reviews follow below in the order they were left.

I’ve gone to this location for years. Over time their quality and service has continued to go down hill. Long waits, cold food or missing items in the order. I’ve continued to give it chances, but ultimately enough is enough and I will no longer give this location my business. I’ve had issues with take out and constant issues with delivery, and yes while their app uses a third party, it still reflects on the business.

I like taco Tuesday

Amazing service. They took our order right we walked in and the food was fresh and delicious. Saturday April 18th, amazing service!

Zander was our cashier. He was the most polite young man. He was very attentive and kind. We had the place to ourselves at around 8pm. It was great! This location seems to be pretty consistent in regards to food quality and timely getting your food to the table. Well done Tijuana crew! Keep up the good work!

Taco Tuesdays are the best!!! Always quality food at the Viera location.
-
It's always a great experience here. Everyone is kind, quick, and helpful. The food seemed a little more bland today, than during my last few visits, but it wasn't bad at all. Maybe it's my taste buds being slightly off, post illness. Either way, I'll return.

Very good tacos pretty nice atmosphere but sometimes can be a bit of a wait

The steak tacos is one of my favorites. This location is a bit slow. The staff is friendly and professional. I wait, it's worth it to me.
-
It was fast and fresh as usual. Always a great choice.

This was my first time at this Tijuana Flats, and the food was ok. But the service was excellent. The young guy working yesterday was so friendly and helpful. He elevated the whole experience. And I love the inside with the murals. We'll definitely be back.

Downhill...so bad now. Terrible food, poor service, dirty, no supplies in the bathroom.
-
Food was good. Services was great too.. definitely loved the queso.. Nachos were a huge portion!
-
Food was awesome and service was good. We ate out on the patio where it was a more intimate environment.
-
Small portions, extra charge for cheese and sour cream, and poor service. Very disappointed with the Viera location.

It was my birthday! Everything was great! Im glad I went there!

Food is decent however, service can be slow. If you are ordering for pickup, make sure you check your order because they like to not include something you have ordered. They need to be better at including the items that you have paid for!! They aren’t good at attention to detail or they just don’t care. I gave the atmosphere a 3 because the floor usually has food under the tables or tables haven’t been wiped down. That’s why we just get take out now. Also, not near as good as Fuzzy’s Tacos.

My wife and I frequent this establishment in Viera, FL for at least 10 years. The new GM, Sheila and staff (Riley, Gi Gi, Fe Fe and Sofia) made the store the most festive we have seen for Christmas this year. This Tijuana team has not missed a beat so far. The food, timeliness, cleanliness, etc. has been outstanding. We always get a verbal welcoming when we come in and a thank you when we leave. Thank you for making our visits enjoyable. We love Tacos Tuesday at Tijuana Flats ❤️

Sitting here at the restaurant next door at 10:00 in the morning on Sunday before they even open and the music is blaring so loud outside that you cannot hold a conversation with a person at the same table. I have eaten it Tijuana flats before and I like their food but I will not eat at this location because they make it miserable for the restaurant people sitting next to them

Update: this location has been out of several hot sauces for the last couple of visits. They don't have salt? Seems like service is going down. Maybe I will give them one more try in the future down to 3 stars now.

The cashier REFUSED to honor the $5 Taco Week Menu from all the advertisements and actual website! Walked out never to return.
