Great place to eat

Some friends recommended Chubby Mullet so we gave it a try. I had a full rack of ribs and my wife had a half rack and shrimp. First, let me tell you, the full rack was massive. They were fall off the bone tender and juicy! The shrimp my wife had were hand battered and some deliciously sweet. Our waitress Chassidy was phenomenal! Very attentive. I highly recommend the Chubby Mullet. We'll surely go back.

This restaurant serves very good food at a fair price. They have daily food specials. We came on a Thursday which is ribs day. The ribs were delicious and just $10 for half a rack including sides. The waitress was pleasant and kept our drinks filled and anything else we needed. And it's on the river, so there is a nice view.

Had a mahi Reuben for no other reason than I hadn't ever heard of one before, even as a big Reuben fan. Perfectly cooked, balanced taste and texture. I realize it's a sandwich but my first thought was literally "this is way fancier than I expected for such a fun place." I told my family I'd go back just for that particular dish. Even the way the bread was cooked was that perfect crispy light brown and strong crunch on the outside. Server was active and helpful without hovering. And very much enjoyed the goings on out the window.

Great food and service. Nice river views

Love this place especially on Wednesday nights...Wings are $.99 and Shrimp are $.88 a piece after 3 pm. Happy hour 3 to 7 pm.
-
Still a solid choice for great food and friendly staff. There are no hidden fees, either. You can even use your credit card without being penalized.
-
Not a full liquor bar, just beer and wine. But service was great, food was pretty good. Coleslaw was very dry.
-
Very laid back environment, great food and friendly staff. Perfect place to dock the boat and enjoy yourself.

My wife and I visited The Chubby Mullet recently, and would highly recommend. Elizabeth, the bartender was awesome. Very personable and friendly, and the food was really good. We had the smoked wings, which were in point. The location, right on the water is beautiful. We will be back for sure.

Used to love coming here, food used to be good, but it has gone downhill. They raised the prices on the menu and have given smaller sizes on your plate. My mom got the chicken basket, paid extra $3.00 to substitute onions rings in place of her fries, she was given 4 onions rings and 1 small sliver of chicken for a total price of $13 plus dollars. I usually get the mahi and it used to be a nice sized piece, now it's a tiny sliver as well. They also changed their tartar sauce recipe and it's not as good. The service is hit or miss, sometimes they are attentive and other times you won't see your waiter for your entire meal. Restaurant also feels hot and stuffy like the AC it off or turned up high. We used to love coming here and would tell the locals about it, but the last few times going we have noticed these issues. Such a shame.

Hubs had a cheese burger and fries. I had the shrimp basket with sweet potato fries. We also had a cup of New England Clam chowder. Excellent food and service.
-
Good food, great specials. Nice view if you sit outside. Dog friendly outside.
-
The smoked wings were rubbery and tasted like salt. Burnt on the outside and almost raw on the inside.
-
They also have free sailing classes here!

Our first time here, went for dinner. Had the fish fry special on Friday night. We loved the place. The food was really good, at a great price. Elizabeth was our server, and did a great job. Quick, friendly, and a great personality. Overall, it’s a great place to have lunch or dinner. We will definitely be back.
