Reviews via GoogleWhat diners say — our read
Recent diners are rating this place better than the back catalogue suggests. Where cleanliness comes up, the rating that follows averages 4.0, so it reads as a strength. Front-of-house is the next most common subject, in 35% of reviews (averaging 4.2).
13 of 17 rated reviews are four stars or higher; 4 are two or lower. Plate size shows up in 18% of reviews as well, averaging 3.7. If you had to pick one number to represent this corpus it would be 5, the most frequently given rating (11 reviews).
Against that, the kitchen inspects well — an A (96/100), 4 basic violations at the most recent DBPR visit. DBPR last walked in on February 3, 2026. That puts it ahead of 86% of graded kitchens in Lake County. The citations behind that grade include food-contact surfaces clean and sanitized and nonfood-contact surfaces clean.

Great venue! Always clean and well kept. Service attendants are always courteous and helpful. Seating is great! The recliners are very comfortable

This location knows customer service. I accidentally booked the wrong theater online. They were able to get our tickets moved easily. I was worried I’d have to tell our small kids we were going to miss the movie. Thank you! Everyone who assisted and helped us were so kind and welcoming.

Never too packed grest peaceful location

Close to the house with plenty of parking. The theater is always clean and workers are friendly. Better to have the app for easy check out. They serve various type of beer, which is new to me as a new yorker.

XL theater is great! Staff friendly! We love this theater! We did see a movie in one of the smaller non XL theater and it was a little musty. Thats the only reason for one star off.

Drove 40 minutes to see Discloser Day on XL screen. They said they had a problem and moved everyone to smaller theatre or gave refunds. It was last day of showing on big screen. I also couldn't buy popcorn because scanner wasn't working. Not a happy customer today. On the bright side the theatre is clean and reclining seats are very comfortable.

Just watched Caleb assist an elderly couple trying to navigate the ticket buying system. He was so kind and patient. The couple then needed assistance with refreshments and purchasing choices. It was so refreshing to see such a kind young man working hard.

Can't pay online for tickets. Crashes when I select a saved card and the captcha goes into an endless loop. Had to go to AMC

Arrived when the movie was just starting and the theater was so dark I had a problem seeing walking to my seat. Bumped into someone 🤦♀️

The master of the universe was awesome all my kids loved as much as I did when I was a kid

I love this movie theater. I came here many times to watch Project Hail Mary over and over and over again. Every time I came, I wanted a beer. The worker was always super nice and quick to help, even though he was always in the middle of doing something when I would ask. (I wish I could remember his name but I suck)

Great workers, great clean atmosphere, delicious snacks, definitely would come to see a movie here again

Went here tonight with my friends. We are all 17 and came to see the backrooms. As stated on the website (with provided pic), this rated-r movie requires an age limit of 17+. We were denied access to the movie, and forced to wait for someone above the age of 21 to accompany us, causing us to be late to the movie. Then, about 30 minutes into the movie ON PREMIERE NIGHT, my friend and I go to get popcorn, and we were told we were no longer aloud to purchase any snacks, even though we could visibly see popcorn sitting in the machine/bags. We then go use the restroom and there was no toilet paper in the stall. Not to mention, the AC in our theater was terrible. Overall bad experience

Always clean and comfortable seats

Great place to watch a movie ! Seats are comfortable , theatre is clean and staff is friendly

We bought 2 novelty popcorn buckets and didn't want the popcorn in the buckets but manager would not give us popcorn unless it's in the buckets. Will NOT just give us the bag of popcorn, wants to charge us for for the popcorn in the bag on top of paying for the novelty buckets, which comes WITH the popcorn... the same popcorn that we just paid for just not in said buckets. Only option was brown paper bag... said that we had to pay full price for the popcorn bag... the bag.. not the popcorn, the popcorn bag. Thanks Justin D manager at large. I paid $90 for everything and was not asking for ANYTHING for free. We come here every week and have never been treated so rudely. I'll drive to Apopka or Winter Garden from now on. I'm sure they will happily take our hard earned money and be better with customer service. That's not even mentioning the serious mold issue the building has..Mold poisoning is real...

Great theater without the high cost. Seats are comfortable and popcorn is good. Many great movies to choose from.
