Reviews via GoogleWhat diners say — our read
Complaints here are real, but they are mostly not about the kitchen. Opinion on how guests are treated is split — those reviews land at 3.0 on average. After that, speed of service appears most often — 25% of the corpus, averaging 2.2.
10 of 24 rated reviews are four stars or higher; 11 are two or lower. Portion size shows up in 17% of reviews as well, averaging 3.0. 5 stars is the modal score, given by 9 of the 24 reviewers who rated.
On the inspection side the picture is cleaner: DBPR graded this kitchen an A (93/100), with 7 basic violations. Whatever the reviews argue about, sanitation is not the weak point. That inspection was on January 9, 2026. The trend across inspections is decline. On health score it sits safer than 74% of the Lake County restaurants we grade. Among the items recorded were food-contact surfaces clean and sanitized and nonfood-contact surfaces clean.
If pacing is what you care about, the reviews are the better guide here; if it is the kitchen, the grade is. The individual reviews are below, newest first, if you want the raw material.

Been going here for years but my past ten or so orders and experiences have been bad. Always waiting when the app says the order is ready, nobody checks on you when you’re standing by the Rapid (including managers), and half the time the orders are wrong. This is while most of the staff is standing around joking with each other. Doesn’t matter if it’s day or night shift but it’s beyond me why this is a training cafe. Only reason I come at this point is because Apopka is too far.

Very clean area, along with delicious food. I made the mistake of getting a little more than I could eat, as I didnt know how filling it was. I recommend getting a drink!

We love Panera!

On Sunday June 14, 2026 the whole staff were great. Special shout out to Emma. We walked in 1 minute before closing time (without realizing they were closing), and ordered 2 fancy coffees. Emma was closing up for the night and cleaning the display cabinet. She stopped what she was doing and made our coffees - while also showing a co-worker how to make them. This is exceptional service - the manager could just have easily said "We are closing up, sorry". Instead, the whole team was happy to help and apologetic that it took so long. I am very impressed and hope this message gets to the regional manager.

The service and product is going down, the bacon or sandwich was salty, bacon hard and burnt, bagel ice cold
-
Panera so fresh food and employees so kind and easy to deal with. True customer service

We've been eating here for years. But my last 3 orders have been seriously lacking quality. The sandwiches are all less than half filled, and looks like a toddler threw them together. You have to pick away bread and rearrange the sandwiches just to eat them. I'm not sure if Management changed, or the staff but this is a huge disappointment.

Service was horrible. I wasn’t acknowledged by any staff, i was the one who approached the cashier Mia and asked if she was ready to take my order after I stood there for 15 minutes. And it gets worse, as I walked in the pick up area, my food was thrown in the counter as if i was beggar. I don’t know exactly what was going, but i will never step foot at that restaurant again. Considering it was my first visit.

Food is good, portions on some dishes are small. I personally like the new salad staffers.
-
Very mediocre and the customer is on their own. Pick up my own food and bus my own table. Once they have your money its the last you'll see of anyone
-
The fruits not all that great mediocre at best and way overpriced

it is very difficult for me to even want to give two stars, the only reason i am is because i like the food and that is simply it. the staff are some of the rudest and incompetent people i have ever encountered, and i don’t want to be mean by writing that in any way but its the truth. i did a rapid pick up order today and it was supposed to be ready when i got there, and it said it was ready so when i went to the pick up shelf it wasn’t there so i went to the side counter where normally there are people who should help and the manager who i have seen there countless times introduce herself as the manager before, she’s always dressed nicer as well, was on the phone so i didn’t want to interrupt and was waiting for her to be done. i stood there for ten minutes all for her to be on the phone with her FRIEND, making direct eye contact w me and not helping as i stood there obviously waiting for her to help me. she was just laughing and saying you know i love you and i know we need to hangout more, and when i saw it was you that was calling me i knew i needed to answer, and you can call me anytime especially if im here I’ll answer. i knew i wasn’t going to get anywhere w the MANAGER so i waited in line at the counter for another couple minutes just for the rude cashier to tell me the reason my order isn’t on the shelf is because i ordered it “wrong” and i needed to pick it up at the counter and go ask them for it. i clearly showed her where my phone said it was rapid pick in bold…

Did not feel connected. The cashier didn't want to change the machine to produce a receipt, I never said cookie. I even repeated my order. stood there and waited til she realized that I was waiting for my cup. When I saw my recipte she insinuates that she help the customer behine me b4 fixing the issue at hand..which was even more devalued .And they wanted to make things complicated by offering to swipe my card multiple times when it could have been jut paying a difference. Whole order was refunded.

Second time now they've shorted me 2 bagels through the drive through, make sure you always count the bagels. If you get a baker's dozen, because you won't get a dozen
-
Food is always good and staff is very nice and helpful. Great place to get soup or a sandwich
-
I really don't understand how this place has only 3.9 stars. We are traveling and needed a quiet place to have a coffee and use WiFi. This was perfect. Comfortable, clean and quiet. Would come again.

Wait to panera today and we're gonna get the 4.99 half sandwich and then charge me $9. I'm just wondering why the advertiser for 4.99. Why do the charge you mourn?
-
Nasty and a waste of money. Rude staff at counter!
-
Disappointed in this franchise. Rarely have my preffered bagel (sesame), and didn't even have enough to fill my order even though I made it days in advance. Also don't have a weekly special on a dozen. Like their product but never urgent to get there.
-
Always great food, service and atmosphere.

Great Food!
-
.mount dora panara needs a different crew or better leadership. this location always has poor quality and small portions ..no care at all when making the food .. always throwed together. half qrapped if wrapped at all... the baguette was throwed down in bottom of bag. my bacon ranch sandwich literally had 2 BACONBITS and what chicken i had was throwed all to one side. i read a review which stated her brocoli and cheese soup was brocoli water soup. i received the rest of that serving today about 6 pm. . my pepsi was so watery my mother asked could she have a drink.of my tea .!

Ordered chicken Roma Asiago bagel stack. Found 2 shaved slices of chicken only after searching. It was evening and they may have been low on chicken but tell me and I would have ordered something else.
-
