I am a Hilton Diamond member and have stayed at Hilton properties all over the country for many years. Unfortunately, this was the worst experience I have ever had at a Hilton hotel. Despite reserving and selecting a specific room type, we were not given the room we booked. The breakfast buffet was being cleared away at 9:15 a.m., leaving guests scrambling for food. Several children were visibly upset and crying as items disappeared before breakfast service should reasonably have been ending. The problems continued throughout our stay. The pool towels were so small they were essentially hand towels, which felt cheap and completely inadequate for a hotel pool. The front desk also approved a late checkout, only for us to later be told we would be charged for it. Having staff honor a request and then attempt to bill guests afterward is unacceptable. What was most disappointing was the overall lack of attention to guest satisfaction. As a loyal Diamond member, I expect occasional issues, but I also expect them to be handled professionally. Instead, this stay felt disorganized, poorly managed, and far below Hilton standards.

Nicely remodeled hotel in a great location. Be prepared for a $25 parking fee that was not listed until walking into the lobby with a sign showing the $25 fee. Not a welcomed surprise.

My husband and I spent father's day 2026 here. The location is great, in a walking distance to most attractions. However, the room was cold. Turning up the temperature didn't help. The heat in the room didn't go up. The most annoying thing was that the toilet stopped flushing several times and both my husband and I had to keep repairing it. Regarding service: our daughter wanted to surprise us with a bottle of wine in our room. Unfortunately, the lady at the desk told her that she's not doing such service. Ultimately, we did find the wine waiting in our room. Lastly, we were told that if we want to get into our room early, we need to pay extra. Overall, our experience was not very good.

Right on Flagler Blvd - perfect spot 👌

Overall, the location and rooms were great, as this hotel was recently renovated, and it is a good location near the restaurants, bars, and beach. Jordan at the front desk was very nice and great with guests, however, Cindy lacks any customer service skills whatsoever, and should not be in a customer facing role. Layout of hotel was good and easy to find all the amenities, and the breakfast that is included each morning was very good. Keep in mind that parking is upwards of $25 per day, so do not be surprised at the end of your stay. Thanks again to Jordan for making us feel welcome and ensuring that we had a good stay.

I love the breakfast and the room service is really nice I love how neat and clean the outside seating is and I love how pretty the location is and the rooms are so pretty. I’m so excited to see what the new renovated ones look like😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍

Jordan at the front desk was absolutely wonderful. He was friendly, professional, and went out of his way to be helpful from the moment we arrived. He made check-in smooth and welcoming, answered all of our questions, and genuinely made the experience better. Customer service like his really stands out, and he deserves recognition for how kind and attentive he was.

We visited Hampton Inn this past week and let me tell you the reason for my review. While most everything was great at this location, you can’t top Cindy, Associate who runs the breakfast area. Cindy made herself known simply by doing her job well. Neat, clean and organized, I had already commented on her service and would have said so in a review. But the real reason for this review is something that cannot be taught by corporate training despite their best efforts and intentions. You see when we arrived home in Orlando last night we learned that our daughter had left her Lovey at the hotel. (Small fabric thing with an animal head sewn to it. But apparently very important.) She was truly devastated. As was her mom, keys in hand, ready to drive back to locate it. We called and spoke to Jordan that night. He placed us on hold and returned to state that he did not see anything in L&F but it could be locked in the Manager office. He asked that we call back in the am and ask for Shannon. We did and were told she was not in yet. So I asked to speak with Cindy as we developed a relationship with her through her kindness during our stay. Cindy immediately understood the magnitude of the situation. And no little girl was going to have her great memories of New Smyrna Beach ruined because we could not locate her Lovey. She took my number and said she would call me back. And of course she did with great news! She had found Lovey! She was even willing to go to the post office after her…

The Hampton Inn in New Smyrna Beach is a decent option if location is your top priority. The hotel is conveniently located close to the beach, restaurants, shopping, and most of the area's attractions, making it easy to get around without spending much time driving. The rooms are very basic. clean enough and functional, but nothing particularly memorable or luxurious. If you're looking for a simple place to sleep while exploring the area, it does the job. The biggest disappointment was the breakfast. The selection was limited, the quality was below average, and it didn't live up to the standards I've experienced at other Hampton Inns. Overall, this hotel offers a great location and adequate accommodations, but the basic rooms and underwhelming breakfast keep it from being more than an average stay.

Spent 3 beautiful days in New Smyrna Hampton Inn. Located right on the strip. Walking distance to restaurant, boutiques, pubs and the beach ⛱. Rooms are sweet, lots pillows , great breakfast selection. Kudos to Rowan at desk & Zac manager well done.

I have to travel many times a month for work and this was my first time at the Hampton Inn in New Smyrna. The vibes around the hotel were great, with a lot of options to walk around in search of good food options. The breakfast was much better than I expected, given other stays Hilton Hotels. “Breakfast Cindy” as she likes to be called was especially helpful, and I was impressed with options such as Avocado Toast and blueberry waffle batter. Upon my next return I will definitely look forward to my stay here!

Got caught in a last-minute bind and needed help. Gave them a call and they showed up on time, which was a relief. They handled everything just like they said they would without any hassle. First time using them and over here in Edgewater, I’ll definitely keep them in mind for the future.

We always stay here when we visit New Smyrna beach. But this past time was very different. They're in the process of renovating the third floor now. We stayed on the second floor and everything was fine, except I wish they would have remotes on the TV that you could actually understand how to use. It is incredibly hard for somebody that is not used to not having numbers or buttons on the TV remote to just find local news. |Now I will start on the breakfast buffet. First of all, they put the coffee in a totally different part of the lobby, so it's not even part of the buffet. You have to actually leave the breakfast room to get coffee and it used to be right in the room which was so convenient and now it is not. They did not offer even bacon with scrambled eggs. There were no pastries but little bagels and little tiny muffins. It changed so much from the past times we were there. And then they have this person walking around--I think her name was Cindy--and she interrupted our conversation ( and everybody else's that were eating breakfast) so that she could ask how we were doing and then tell us when we leave a review, let them know how good the breakfast buffet was. I almost laughed out loud.

Tiffany Assistant Manager went beyond the call of duty. Along with Belinda , Cindy and Betty. My older brother was a guest there. He needed extra care and they were on it. Hats off off the an amazing staff.

This is by far one of the best Hampton Inn experiences we have had. The location is perfect to everything in New Smyrna Beach. Park the car and walk everywhere. Breakfast was delicious with so many choices. Front desk staff was very accommodating. We will definitely stay on our next trip back to Florida.

Wonderful experience. Will return for sure.

  • May 16, 2026

We had an excellent stay here. Everything was clean and just right. Cindy and Betty put on a great breakfast exactly at 6 in the morning. They were super friendly and the chorizo burritos were clutch.

Location is awesome and super close to the beach, definitely gets Rowdy on the weekends so it's difficult to get a relaxing night sleep without earbuds. Checked out a few restaurants in the Flagler area, disappointed by some and absolutely loved others. The rooms were clean, although it was difficult to get to the front desk at times for any requests

Had a great time at my fraternity reunion. Our room was clean and spacious. The hotel staff was very friendly. Have to give special kudos to Cindy who was staffing the breakfast room. She was so accommodating and friendly. The breakfast selection is large and delicious. The lobby is large and a great space for groups to congregate. Many good restaurants and bars are within easy walking distance. Plenty of shops available. The beach is just down the street. Looking forward to returning next year.
