What diners say — our read

The trajectory matters more than the average on this listing. Reviewers who mention the staff rate this place 4.6 on average — it is working in the restaurant’s favour. After that, what it costs appears most often — 29% of the corpus, averaging 4.5.

Behind those, serving size is raised in 24% of reviews (3.8 average). 14 of 21 rated reviews are four stars or higher; 5 are two or lower. More reviewers landed on 5 stars than any other score — 13 of 21.

Against that, the kitchen inspects well — an A (98/100), 2 basic violations at the most recent DBPR visit. That result dates from June 3, 2026. The trend across inspections is improvement. Ranked against Volusia County, it is safer than 85% of the restaurants we score. What the inspector actually wrote up: dishwashing facilities.

Neither signal is decisive on its own here, which is why both are shown. The underlying reviews are reproduced in full underneath.

We came down to New Smyrna Beach for the week and my co-worker, that grew up here, suggested we try the place out. They have some great half price deals on Monday and Wednesday. The food is very good and we will come again on our next visit to the area. We love to visit local businesses when possible.

    AWESOME PLACE, SALADS ARE AMAZING.

  • June 20, 2026

For the past twenty plus years my family and friends have relied on Stavros NSB for many great meals. They are the only restaurant that has never made a mistake on our order. Never. Staff changes, prices change, but the quality, consistency, and value you receive by ordering from our "go to" carry out location is assured. Go ahead. Order something. In 25 minutes or so you can have a Large White Pizza with double pepperoni, crispy, no cut. We cut it at home. The ricotta makes it messy. Pro tip. Then cut in and feel the love of one of our favorite pizzas from Stavros. Add a Greek Salad and you will know what we have known for 25 years. Stavros is awesome.

    My Greek pizza was ok

This was our first time here and we left happy and full! The "works" pizza was amazing and you can't beat the price with the Wednesday special! Service was great and we got lucky, we made it there before the dinner rush. We even took one home to our friends and they loved it too! We will definitely be back! We have now been back many times and I have to say its the best pizza we have found in the area! Its absolutely delicious!!!

    best customer service i’ve had

  • May 4, 2026

Id give the food a zero if I could. If you grew up eating NYC, north jersey, long island or sw CT italian and Greek food skip this place. Greek salad is half head shredded iceberg lettuce, two little slices of tomatoes, 4 olives and one pepperocino. With flavorless feta the consistency of sawdust dumped on top. Without a doubt the worst calzone in the world. Nasty sour aftertaste. Never seen a shiny canzone dough that was as thin as cardboard. No chewiness to it with minimal amount of ricotta cheese. Skip this place that truly epitomizes theres no good pizza in florida.

We got sat down and were ignored for ten minutes by four waitresses it was very sad for us. We took our business elsewhere and were treated as expected nicely. Really good product in the past but this leaves a bad taste in your mouth.

Best pizza & greek salad ever!! It's a NSB icon & tradition.

  • April 13, 2026

Spinach pies are out of this world! Chicken parm was good, spaghetti with meat sauce was also good. Waitress was not in a good mood that night.. just a tiny bit cranky

Stuck between a 3 and 4 star review on this one! I'm not sure if this place is starting to go downhill or not- It's the 3rd time I have had a meal here and it's a little less great each visit. Salads The salads are the absolute star of the show here, I ordered a small greek salad to go and the serving size was actually amazing. It's enough for a meal all by itself. The small has 2 tomatoes, one pepper and 1 Olive in the salad, the rest is chopped, which is a style I really like- super easy to eat. If you're ordering a full meal, this is plenty to share with one other person. The flavor is fresh and I like the vinaigrette dressing that they provide. While I ordered it with no onions, there were a few in there , but overall , the order was pretty close to perfection. Their garlic bread is great- can't really do anything to ruin garlic bread 🤣 but it's soft, buttery and garlicy, and seasoned great. Tonight I had their spaghetti. I have to be honest, it's not good. The sauce was very skimpy- not enough for the serving. It came with 3 meatballs- flavor came up short/ lackluster at best. The spaghetti just isn't good for $15- I'm super disappointed in it. Warmed the other half up today hoping it would be better- hard no. Bland, not good. I've had meals here in the past with pizza and calzones- those are excellent. Overall I'd say skip the less than average spaghetti, stay with calzones, pizza, stromboli or any other menu item. Overall the restaurant was clean, staff was so so…

  • March 26, 2026

Tried for the first time tonight. Very excellent Stromboli half-price on Wednesday. I had it with extra cheese, sausage, and onions excellent for $10!!! The homemade dough was really the winner!!!

  • March 19, 2026

Pizza half off plus $1.50 Terrable??? They call it a Large Pie ??? 10 slices??? Slices are Small ??? Pie was Mushy Very Bland .. won't be Back

  • March 11, 2026

Good pizza. Great Greek salads. Can’t beat.

  • March 10, 2026

Pizza is 3/10 by far IS NOT the best pizza in New Smyrna. Pizza was very flavorless. Cheese tasted cheap, sauce was very watery, and crust well that's the only thing that was ok

  • March 8, 2026

Staple of NSB great lunch special
