Community Rating
Reviews via GoogleWhat diners say — our read
Complaints here are real, but they are mostly not about the kitchen. Service cuts both ways here, averaging 3.4 among the reviews that raise it. Pacing is the next most common subject, in 33% of reviews (averaging 2.8).
One subject never comes up here: plate size. Of the 18 rated reviews, 6 sit at four stars or better and 10 at two or below. If you had to pick one number to represent this corpus it would be 1, the most frequently given rating (7 reviews).
Against that, the kitchen inspects well — an A (97/100), 1 intermediate violations at the most recent DBPR visit. DBPR last walked in on April 15, 2026. On health score it sits safer than 79% of the Volusia County restaurants we grade. The citations behind that grade include food manager certification.
The weak part of this listing is the experience, not the sanitation — those are different failures. Everything above is computed from the 18 reviews reproduced below.

Sat in there for about 30 minutes ended up having are food on the doordash rack sitting there getting cold messed up the order as well terrible services
-
I wait 45 minutes for a single taco. That’s crazy. I ordered it online came to the store 10 minutes later and am not waiting. This is not how “fast food” should be

The manager Tiffany's rude as hell! We ordered food on the app and the order was completely wrong, we called and instead of her correcting their mistake she said we had to reorder purchasing an entirely new order. When I called and asked for her last name so we could complain to cooperate and she refused to give it to me then hung up on me. She should not be a manager, I feel bad for her employees!

My husband placed an order on the app on Thursday around 6:40pm and went to Drive Thru around ten minutes later. We do that pretty often in other Taco Bells and the food is always hot and fresh. That wasn't the case in this location. They didn't verify my order at the speaker. They only asked for the name and asked to move fw to the window. Once we went to the pick up window, an employee asked us to read the lable to check if it was our ourder. It seems like the order was made way before we got there. The food wasn't hot and fresh like other locations. I don't know what's the actual procedure but we won't be coming here again.

Ate here twice on our vacation and both times the food was great!
-
Nice and clean with friendly service.
-
Always a great dining experience at the Bell in Orange City.. Thank you Cassandra and staff. I will be back soon.
-
This place needs some sort of management or responsible adult working, the kids-on-duty have messed up my orders about 75% of the time. I will be going to Moe's from now on.
-
Do not go here at night for online orders.. they refuse to make them

I had a really disappointing experience with a worker named Caz. I caught them smoking in the bathroom during work hours, and when I brought it up, they gave me attitude instead of handling the situation professionally. Customer service and professionalism really need improvement, This is why we need to be more cautious with the teenagers we hire.

Fast courteous service.

Asked for no beans on my burrito and got a ton of beans and no rice. My crunchwrap had a ton of lettuce and no sour cream and barely any meat. The girl who made my food was laughing about it. Not the best experience.

This Taco Bell is a joke. They only accept machine orders but the machines don’t accept the rewards system and they don’t give you receipts. The machines are always broken and u can’t check in using the app. The human factor is non existent I doubt they pay the humans that work here enough to care. You are better off going to the 50 other taco shops near by, the food is as bad as always hut you don’t come to Taco Bell for the food. Honestly I don’t know why I come here at all anymore.
-
If you're planning on eating in the restaurant go through the drive through they only do dine in orders if no one is in the drive through my order took 30 minutes to get inside
-
I was trying to call to order a crunch wrap but my entire life people say I sound like a child so they did not let me order and hung up immediately
-
Greatgrandson insisted on having Taco Bell so we went. Food was tasty and service was great. Fast and reasonable on my fixed income!
-
Everytime I order any food for delivery they have never remembered to include the mild sauce EVER !!!! Despite my requesting a couple or several its doesn’t matter! Whoever fulfills the delivery orders on all shifts need to be more mindful!
-
I tried going to this Taco Bell, but they kept making the orders wrong (multiple times). So I gave up and now go the Chipotle in Deland instead.
