Community Rating
Reviews via GoogleWhat diners say — our read
An average is a poor summary when the underlying reviews look like this. Front-of-house tends to be raised approvingly here, averaging 4.8 stars. Freshness and temperature is the next most common subject, in 22% of reviews (averaging 4.3).
Of the 27 rated reviews, 23 sit at four stars or better and 4 at two or below. The single most common rating left here is 5 stars (22 of 27).
Against that, the kitchen inspects well — an A (97/100), 3 basic violations at the most recent DBPR visit. The visit behind that grade was February 13, 2026. Across its inspection history the kitchen is improving, which argues for giving it the benefit of the doubt. On health score it sits safer than 72% of the Orange County restaurants we grade. For specifics, the last inspection cited single-service and single-use items and bathrooms.
Both measures agree, which is the least complicated version of this page. The reviews themselves follow, unedited and newest first.

This place isn’t just a sandwich shop, it’s the kind of spot you walk into and immediately know you’re about to eat something great. The sandwiches go way beyond the usual: fresh bread, wild combinations, and flavors that punch you right in the taste buds. If you’re looking for a boring lunch, look somewhere else. This shop is all about bold choices and serious attitude. Thanks for an awesome meal and top-notch service. It was absolutely worth the trip out here. You can tell everyone cares about what they’re doing, from the food to the way they treat you. I’d make the drive again in a heartbeat.

What an amazing experience! Food was off the hook, incredible. Staff was super friendly and polite. Couldn't have asked for a better first time experience. Will definitely be back sooner rather than later!! Yummy!!! 😋😋

The shop made me feel like I was in downtown Pittsburgh. It’s such a wonderful vibe to see and detach from the rat race and highly pretentious sub shops with cutting machines and the like. This place is raw, clean, and a friendly diner/feel. Everything from drinks, to the sandwich, and even the plate the sandwich is served on is all very different. I appreciated all the detail the owner put into this place. No parking headaches and there’s even tables outside so you feel like you’re eating on the street corner of New York City. I will be back again with family.

You know when you look at a food and think “I don’t know about that.” That’s this place. Got the 13 and has to be one of the scariest looking sandwiches I’ve had. Also amazingly salty. Couldn’t finish because of that. $20 for a sandwich is steep, but the chips were bussin’

Burgers and Sandwiches are now combined into the same restaurant. Really happy I can get a seed oil free burger from here.

Badass good food!

This sandwich reflects poor menu development. If anyone with a brain or any actual experience cooking food were designing a breakfast sandwich, they would understand that a bun this large needs enough egg, meat, and filling to create balance. Instead, the sandwich is overwhelmingly bread, making it feel cheap and poorly conceived. Any establishment charging $9 for a sandwich with this bread-to-filling ratio is simply trying to maximize margins rather than customer satisfaction. ❤️

Best place. Local spot, bread is the best thing you will ever taste all made in store. People are so loving got to try!

My bf and I went here and the food was delicious and the service was even better. Would def come back!

Wow! Just go there now! Quality food, great price, staff is welcoming & friendly. So delicious! Awesome sandwich selection with something for everyone.
-
The staff over there is very kind! I had to run 2 miles to get to there and they gave me a water so I decided to try some of their food and I absolutely loved what I got. It’s an amazing little place. I hardly even knew about. I passed it every day and I just had to try it at least once and I was not disappointed. The first thing I tried was the traditional bad ass sandwich. And I can’t wait to try everything on the menu. The chips were really good they were fresh made. Very unique taste in the sandwich itself. Even the bread tasted amazing. Definitely not what I’m used to.

Fantastic food. Awesome service. 10/10

Their food is good and I’ve been here a few times with friends. Today I went and asked for no pickles and it came with some, and instead of making a new sandwich he just picked them off I could’ve did that and I bit into straight pickle juices. When I said something the cooked got frustrated at his mess up and so I just left. Waste of money

The sandwiches, burgers, and sides are absolutely delicious & inventive. The owner is very passionate about cooking & it really comes through in the quality of his food.

I'm not usually a big bread eater, but good God, this place may have converted me. The sandwiches were fantastic, packed with flavor, and made with quality ingredients. The bread was so good I found myself talking about it long after the sandwich was gone. The owner was friendly, helpful, and genuinely cares about the customers. The staff was just as welcoming and made the whole experience even better. Great food, great people, and bread that might just change your life. I'll definitely be back!
-
Absolutely delicious variety of sandwiches! The staff is extelremely friendly and informative.

From the great and friendly service (Aham... Nicki!) to the absolute delicious food, you MUST try this place. It's (excuse the word) badass!!!

My Team and I went to Orlando, they had a conference and I had one job –feed them – so we ate at Bad As’s Sandwiches for the first time. We’re a nice size group and we order at least one of every sandwich. When I had a chance to ask how they were – I didn’t get not one “it was good”, no one said “it was ok” – what I got was a bunch of looks -looks of awe & comments like, “That was amazing”, “OMG my stomach and mouth are so happy”, “so happy”. I had to laugh. And the Chef – we had an 11:00am delivery time, because someone had a flight to catch. John not only cooked the sandwiches, he delivered them personally, AND, AND when I initially placed the order, we had ordered a bunch of fries, and he suggested because of the travel time, it would not be a good idea – wait honesty, incredible food & white glove service, - they definitely have earned the right to rock their name, because they are truly Bad Ass!!!!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH JONH – SEE YOU NEXT TIME!!!!!!!

Very cool place, deserves all the stars!! The hog was amazing, absolutely will be back when in town!!
-
Incredibly unprofessional staff, Very rude and snotty. Sandwhich was soggy with an unbearable flavor profile. I definitely would not eat here. And they need a new staff,
-
One of the best sandwiches I’ve had. Meat was fresh, tender and delicious. Great flavor and selection. The gentlemen behind the register knew his stuff, and explained the menu very well. 10/10! Would add a photo, but I gobbled it down too fast!
-
Wow truly 10/10 experience! I’ll definitely be coming back. Nick’s recommendations were incredibly and Jose made such a delicious sandwich. I don’t often leave reviews but I had to, such a great experience.
-
The food was delicious way better than I expected. I got the patty melt with over easy egg on top. Most definitely will be coming back whenever in Orlando.
-
Food was absolutely amazing. Staff is super friendly and helpful. I had the half as Garfield with tots and it was so flavorful. Perfect size and everything. Will be going back when I’m in Orlando again.
-
Stopped by here for the first time and the service and food were amazing. Nick and Angelo were wonderful and they definitely served up some BAD As sandwiches. Highly recommend and can’t wait to come back.
-
This is one of the best if not, the best burger and sandwich spots in Orlando, my friends and I received excellent service from the team member, and even the owner John. Even had the pleasure of talking with him and sharing our passion. Top quality and fresh ingredients definitely worth coming back and trying other items on the menu. Wanted to get a better picture, couldn't help myself, and got a bite or two 100/10🔥🙏🏽

Big As’s Sandwiches completely exceeded our expectations. We tried the Bad As and the pastrami, and both were incredible. The pastrami tasted like it was made in-house—tender, flavorful, and not your typical deli cut. You can tell they care about quality. Even the tots stood out—perfectly cooked with great flavor, not just an afterthought. What really made the experience though was the service. Nicki was amazing—friendly, attentive, and just on top of everything. And make sure you meet John—he’s super personable and made us feel genuinely welcomed and appreciated. This place doesn’t just serve great food, it gives you an experience. Definitely coming back.
