Reviews via GoogleWhat diners say — our read
No clear consensus emerges from these 12 reviews. Opinion on the staff is split — those reviews land at 3.3 on average.
More reviewers landed on 5 stars than any other score — 7 of 12. What nobody raises here is pacing — it goes unmentioned across all 12 reviews. 10 of 12 rated reviews are four stars or higher; 2 are two or lower.
Against that, the kitchen inspects well — an A (100/100), nothing cited at the most recent DBPR visit. That result dates from February 6, 2026. Ranked against Orange County, it is safer than 100% of the restaurants we score. Nothing was written up at that inspection at all.
Both measures agree, which is the least complicated version of this page. The reviews themselves follow, unedited and newest first.

My son loved it here. It was all our first time.

I was here for a school field trip as a chaperone and I can honestly say the kids I was looking after had a wonderful time but I did notice a lot of reviews about the workers not wanting to be there. I think maybe the reason they seem miserable is because it’s HOT in there. As a woman over forty, I was sweating up a storm while watching the kids because I was HOT! I understand the heat because a lot of heat comes from the machines to melt the crayons. Can y’all please give the employees free neck fans and some chargers so said neck fans won’t run out of power? That way maybe the employees won’t come off like they don’t want to be there and have a better time interacting with the children. I know when I’m hot, I start acting like The Hulk.

They make parents buy a full ticket but than when it comes to going to each stations they don’t offer any of the “free” things to parents to do as well. Also 1/2 the stations didn’t work for example printing your photo with a coloring page, only 2 of the the stations computers worked but than either had no paper or no ink to print. Redeeming tokens for a marker or playdough either didn’t work or kept getting stuck in the machine. Rip off!

Great place my grandson loved it.

My family enjoyed it.

My kids 3 & 4 LOVE this place! They have asked several times since going to go back. Nice indoor place to spend half of a day at. They have a decent indoor play area which helps them burn some energy. They enjoyed all activities available.

Fun, interactive experience for Crayola lovers - both adults and kids. Offers a variety of different activities with multiple stations.

My two active boys had an absolute blast at the Crayola Experience! There were so many hands-on activities to keep them engaged, and we easily spent several hours exploring everything. The staff was friendly, and there was a great variety of things to do for kids of different ages. My only complaint is that the overall temperature inside was very warm and humid, which made it noticeably uncomfortable while walking around. Other than that, it was a great experience for my boys.

This place has potential for kids to have fun, but it’s portrayed as much more exciting than it actually is. The biggest disappointment was the lack of customer service. There was no guide or staff member available to explain the different sections or activities, leaving us confused about what we were supposed to do in many areas. Several attractions were not intuitive, and we spent a lot of time trying to figure things out on our own. The facility was also noticeably messy, with little to no cleaning taking place throughout our visit. Toys and activity areas appeared unorganized, and there was no visible effort to sanitize high-touch surfaces. Unfortunately, members of our group got sick, which raised concerns about the cleanliness and hygiene standards of the facility. Overall, while there is potential for a fun experience, the lack of guidance, customer service, and cleanliness made it disappointing. As for the food, they don’t allow outside food however, that thick doughy pizza they sell is horrible, it’s so thick that tastes uncooked.

We went to the adult night themed event and had a blast! We created our own class run project and got to play around with making crayons into shapes. So much fun!
