Reviews via GoogleWhat diners say — our read
There is no middle ground in these 25 reviews. Reviewers who mention the staff rate this place 4.4 on average — it is working in the restaurant’s favour. After that, freshness appears most often — 20% of the corpus, averaging 5.0.
Behind those, pacing is raised in 16% of reviews (2.5 average). More reviewers landed on 5 stars than any other score — 17 of 25. 19 of 25 rated reviews are four stars or higher; 4 are two or lower.
The health record runs ahead of the reviews. The last DBPR inspection returned an A (97/100) with 1 intermediate violations. That result dates from April 7, 2026. On health score it sits safer than 72% of the Orange County restaurants we grade. What the inspector actually wrote up: handwash sinks accessible.
Both measures agree, which is the least complicated version of this page. The reviews themselves follow, unedited and newest first.

Pleasantly surprised! Food and service were very good. So glad we decided to sit down and have service vs. fighting the food court.

My fiance and I had a very enjoyable relaxing great lunch at California Pizza Kitchen made so much ch better by our awesome server Ann she was so kind, sweet and accommodating. She kept my fiance with several refills of his favorite drink Coke and for me lemonade. She had been working at CK Kitchen for quite some time and was so enthusiastic we were so happy to have met Ann,she made great recommendations, brought us extra condiments to accompany our meal. And when our BBQ pizza came out cold Ann said she would have the chef make us another one,and when that pizza came out it was very hot, delicious and tasty. I ordered my favorite Dynamite Shrimp, the batter had the right amount of crisp coating on shrimp and the spicy mayo was good. The BBQ Chicken Pizza I got with the cauliflower crust because I have a gluten allergy. I asked Ann would it taste real different with that crust and she said no,so happy I listened to Ann I thought the cauliflower crust might have a weird taste, but I really couldn’t tell the difference the pizza was delicious. And another entree I had was Thai Chicken Crunch with Shrimp and Avocado,it was delicious the salad was so fresh and I love the Thai salad dressing that’s paired with it. My fiance tried the Chicken Tequila Fettucine, but he didn’t care for the taste of it and eating one bite. Ann was so sweet to remove that from our receipt. The atmosphere of CP Kitchen at Mall of Millenia was very nice inside,we sat at a booth and it was comfortable and quiet…

We are huge fans of California Pizza Kitchen. We were saddened about the closing of the Waterford Lakes restaurant. We were very excited to visit this location on a very spontaneous date night. When coming into the restaurant we were quickly great by 3 hostess and seated very quickly. Then the fun began. We were told our server would be with us in just moment, little did we know it would be 15-20 minutes later. What was observed during that time was a group of servers and managers engrossed in the Savanna Bananas ballgame on TV. We finally got our drinks and orders placed and then again our server was nowhere insight. When our food arrived we were surprised at how the portion sized had changed. The additional charge for chicken in both of our entrees was shocking due to the size of our diced chicken for our meals. One of our favorite items is dessert at CPK the Butter Cream Cake never fails, but this time we had to actually ask to order dessert and again here we go! Another long wait while staff and management enjoyed Banana Ball. I too am a fan, but there is a time place. Will I go back? Yes, I will. If the service is lacking again I will gladly and correctly address with the management.

I got the five cheese pizza and it was really good quality and flavor only improvement would be to have a more crispy crunch but otherwise it had a good flavor. The service was really good and the atmosphere was nice as well.

Iris was delightful!

My wife loves California Pizza Kitchen so we tried the one at the mall in Orlando. It was a typical CPK set up like all the others. It wasn’t particularly crowded, the service was OK. We got the buffalo cauliflower as an appetizer, my wife got salmon and I got a pepperoni pizza for dinner. The food wasn’t bad, it just wasn’t remarkable but it is a chain restaurant. My wife also got a flight of wine which was a little expensive, $19.95 I believe. I think we split a dessert too so our dinner before tip was $80 for 2 people. If you like CPK then you’ll probably be fine, if you’re looking for higher quality Italian food you may be better off going elsewhere.

Privilege of being an elite member is that you can skip the line up to four people, but they do not honor it in this place.

Food was bland and not worth it.
