Community Rating
Reviews via GoogleWhat diners say — our read
Diners who mention cleanliness here rate it low, yet the kitchen graded A. When the state of the room comes up here it is usually a criticism, and the ratings attached average 2.3. How guests are treated is the next most common subject, in 27% of reviews (averaging 3.5).
The split is 9 positive to 7 negative across 18 rated reviews, with 2 in the middle. What nobody raises here is serving size — it goes unmentioned across all 22 reviews. More reviewers landed on 1 star than any other score — 7 of 18.
That matters because 27% of reviews raise cleanliness and rate it 2.3 on average — a complaint the inspection record does not support, since DBPR graded the kitchen an A (98/100). That result dates from June 8, 2026. That puts it ahead of 80% of graded kitchens in Orange County. What the inspector actually wrote up: in-use food dispensing utensils properly stored.
The weak part of this listing is the experience, not the sanitation — those are different failures. The reviews themselves follow, unedited and newest first.

If your main goal is to stay within walking distance of ICON Park, this hotel is a convenient option. It offers Wi-Fi and a standard checkout time of 11:00 AM, with a 30-minute grace period that allows guests to check out by 11:30 AM. However, there is no fitness center, and the lobby feels more like an office space than a welcoming hotel lobby, lacking the warmth and character many travelers look for during their stay. If you’re looking for a more enjoyable experience with better amenities and a more inviting atmosphere, I recommend Crowne Plaza Orlando - Lake Buena Vista. It offers a better overall value and a more comfortable stay while visiting the Orlando area.

Stayed here Friday night and checked out Monday morning. The staff was nice, but room 127, I believe it was, was horrible on the side of the building! You could see light under the door, so bugs could have come in from under the door or water if it flooded. The main sink had white powder all over it (caulking), and don't let me get started on that microwave and fridge! The microwave had food splattered all over the door, and under the plate was so gross and black because people kept reheating the food under the plate and on the door it was so gross! The fridge had dried-up food or liquid spilled in it! I can tell they don't clean the outdated microwaves or the inside of the fridges. Just a tip: throw the outdated microwave away because it was gross. The remote's back was missing, so I was touching the batteries, as I'm sure others who stayed before us were as well. The breakfast isn't free. You could easily kick that door down, if I'm being honest with you. If someone wanted into that room, with enough big kicks, it would definitely come down because you could wiggle it back and forth when it was closed. The only thing that made me feel a little safe was the lock on the door and faith and prayers. The positives? The bathroom was surprisingly the cleanest part of that room! The cleanest toilet I've ever seen looked brand new. The shower was clean-ish; it was yellow at the bottom from what looked like a bath mat used to be. The hot water and pressure were fantastic. I feel…

This placed advertised free breakfast for there guests but upon arrival was told there was not free breakfast. All ice machines were broken except for the one on the 3rd floor which I was not on that floor so inconvenience. Did have a pool but the pool water was extremely salty and the pool had alot of leaves that coating the bottom of the pool In the deep end needed to be clean. In the room we found a few dead roaches bodies. Pillows were comfortable however did not have a real blanket just a sheet had window curtain type brown cover. Also there was a unidentified milky white stain on headboard on one of the beds. No laundry room on site had to find one nearby. The bed frames were wobble and squeaky everytime we moved.

Fuimos en febrero y estuvimos dos noches, la habitación estaba limpia y era amplia, lo mismo con el baño. La persona de recepción fue muy amable con nosotros. Ubicación excelente, puedes llegar a varios lugares caminando. Por el precio, es una excelente opción para economizar tu viaje.

Honestly, this isn’t the worst hotel I’ve stayed at. I’ve lived in Orlando, Florida for about six years, so I’ve had the chance to visit quite a few hotels in this area. While it may not meet the expectations of tourists looking for something upscale, it’s not a bad option for the average visitor. The beds are comfortable, but they are definitely noisy—just shifting around can make them creak. It seems like the base is enclosed with a metal frame, which is probably why. The shower setup could also use improvement; the curtain leaves about a foot-wide gap, so water easily gets out and you can feel outside air coming in. As for the area, based on my experience living here, it’s not as bad as some reviews make it sound. It’s a busy, high-traffic tourist area with a strong police presence. A lot of the noise people mention—talking, yelling, laughter—is likely coming from ICON Park nearby. You can hear it, especially at night. Overall, I’d recommend this place if you’re just looking for somewhere to rest and plan to spend time around ICON Park.

Great location. Close to a lot of attractions. Very quiet at night also.

We switched rooms twice with dry blood on the sheets and curtains and told we couldn't have a refund.

If you want to stay in India without flying there this hotel will be a great choice for you.

We took our grandkids to Icon Park for spring break and since the Clarion was right across the street we decided to book our stay with them. Best decision ever! I don’t know what hotel the other people were reviewing but this hotel is very clean, right across the street from icon park. Staff was very friendly They put us on the 5th floor so our grandkids could look out the window and see everything light up. Yes one of our beds was squeaky but the boys got a kick out of it! I would stay here anytime and already planning another sta later this year!

Overall great for the price. Don't get me wrong - its a cheap motel without much extras, but if you need something in the area for cheap then its a good option. The AC worked, the WIFI was reliable. No breakfast included but that that was known before purchasing. Also, its a a bit noisy at night but that's just the area.

I didn’t believe the other reviews that it could be this bad until I tried it omg 😂 iIt s a scary place and weird staff too. if star wars bars had a hotel 😂 You can laugh when you’ve left as you wipe your feet on the way out as it’s hard to believe it was real 😂.Beds made of metal or something, smoke smell coming through the air Con, cigarette holes in bedding, bodily fluids layiing about not cleaned yuck 🤮 if you’re a decent person please do not stay here it’s a flop house

Impecable todo, hubicacion única, cerca de todo en el centro de la Internacional Drive Rd

Crystal at front desk was very helpful, rooms are clean and roomy, prices are extremely cheap, especially for location right on international drive in Orlando close to everything tourist oriented, save your money to spend at the enormous amount of restaurants, carnival ride theme places , etc. Free parking, no breakfast or coffee and ask for carts at front desk. Ice machines are far end next to elevator thats closest to front desk, preferred to reserve online recommended for ease in check in and best price. There is a pool but no other amenities on the actual hotel property and it is a wide hotel wuth many twist and turns. Updated touchless room entry . Adequate and recommended for the area.
