I love going to this place a few times a year or more. They usually have good steaks. However on this particular occasion the steak wasn't cooked correctly. It happens once in a while so I don't mind, however my girlfriend ordered a garlic shrimp appetizer and it had 3 standard shrimp in it and was $30. It wasn't something on the menu, they had a shrimp sampler that came with 3 x as much shrimp for less money I believe but the weighter offered her that when she asked if they had garlic shrimp similar to scampi. $30 for 3 regular shrimp is crazy, but it came out cold. She didn't want me to say anything at the restaurant but, this was a bad experience and at a normally great place. And worst of all the only reason she lets me go to this restaurant is the carrot cake and they were out. Unfortunate series of events. 3 stars because its normally good. But if it was my only time there I would give 1.

I was able to make a same-day reservation for our 29th wedding anniversary. My husband and I thought about three other steakhouse options, but at the last minute decided to dine at Christner's since we hadn't visited in a few years. Well, I was pretty disappointed. The service and our waiter were very accommodating and friendly. The food, on the other hand, was definitely below my expectations. I ordered the Dry-Aged Bone-In Ribeye. At over $100, I thought my steak would taste exceptional, but sadly it didn't. Honestly, the steak tasted like it was prepared/cooked at an Outback/Longhorn restaurant. I also ordered a Caesar salad. At $16, it was very lacking in quantity, freshness, and dressing. My husband ordered the regular Bone-In Ribeye. He ordered his steak medium, but when it arrived, it seemed burnt on the outside. We shared the lobster mac and cheese. The taste was okay, but it seemed to be missing the lobster. Well...we did see some little pieces of lobster, but I was expecting at the very least one or two larger chunks. The one thing that was perfect during our dinner was the bread and butter. I mentioned to my husband that I would not return to dine at Christner's. Now I wish we would have chosen another steakhouse to celebrate our wedding anniversary.

My family had an amazing time tonight and we will definitely be back next time in Orlando. our waiter Luigi was the man what a professional we felt totally taken care of

Highly disappointed in this dinner experience I went for a birthday and our service was absolutely terrible. I ordered on the appetizer menu fried shrimp, and my fried shrimp never came out until my actual entrée was placed in front of me which I’m not sure why the server thought that I wanted my appetizers with my main meal when I literally ordered it on the appetizer when she was taking appetizer to Order. So I went ahead and just canceled the shrimp because there was no need for it. On top of that, our seating was extremely tight, they gave us a half booth half table That was extremely close fitted. I don’t think the price of my meal was applicable because my steak had absolutely no flavor. I actually asked for steak sauce, ketchup, black pepper, just to add a little bit of flavoring. I definitely don’t think I would come back to this restaurant due to the flavorless food and terrible service.

I’ve been to Christner’s twice. The first time was for my law school graduation dinner, and the experience was excellent. We were seated in a semi private area, the atmosphere felt intimate, and the restaurant made the occasion feel special. Unfortunately, my second experience was deeply disappointing. My husband, son, and I came for dinner immediately following our civil ceremony. We had gotten married just hours prior, and this was meant to be a very intimate celebration for the three of us. I made this clear both when booking and again when I called ahead. My husband is an active duty service member of 16 years and was in his full Marine Corps dress blues, so I expected a bit more thoughtfulness around the seating arrangement given the significance of the occasion. Instead, our table was not ready when we arrived, and we were eventually seated in a busy corridor with little to no privacy. Throughout dinner, we were interrupted repeatedly by people approaching to thank my husband for his service. While kind and well intentioned, it completely changed the tone of what was supposed to be a quiet, intimate evening for our family. To be fair, the owner and several staff members were warm and gracious, and the pianist playing a beautiful song for us before we left was incredibly thoughtful. The issue was not the staff overall. Whoever handled the seating arrangements simply dropped the ball. The entire experience felt surprisingly inconsiderate for a restaurant known for…

For the price, you would expect people with more etiquette or class, but that is not the case. I am speaking from a few visits during the evening hours on Fri/Sat. The food is still good and the servers are apologetic of other people’s vulgar/cursing/loud behavior, but don’t expect them to step in. Sad, but there are more mannerable people at Texas Roadhouse.

Melanie took absolutely amazing care of us. Not to mention the food was to die for! We will be back for celebrations and date nights in the future. :)

We didn't like the atmosphere, very loud and noisy

Absolutely excellent meal & service. Everything was cooked to perfection the ambiance gives old school Vegas Steak House Vibes . Highly recommend

I had the Filet Mignon and it and it was delicious.

Bartender tried to seat someone else and looked at our group and said hope they finally leave after being there for maybe 20 minutes. Servers think they know better than customers on what they like. Very disrespectful night from all of staff. Food is still great though.

We had an amazing time at Christner’s Prime Steak & Lobster tonight celebrating my birthday. Our server, James💗, was phenomenal and took excellent care of us. The steak and orange cake were amazing, and we loved the chateau potatoes too. What a lovely night with great food and top-notch service.

This place is a little pretentious, but our waiter was great and the food was awesome. Just plan on making a car payment to pay for the meal. Also, we had reservations and still had to wait 20 minutes.

Let me start by saying that I really, really was hoping to love it here. I've read many positive remarks and have friends who dined here in the past who had nothing but good things to say. Additionally, it was recommended heavily on a foodie forum I am a member of on Facebook. With all that being said, it was, to our surprise, a huge disappointment. Prior to going, I read quite a few reviews that mentioned the service was either poor or slow but the food made up for it by being outstanding, so that ultimately is what convinced me to keep my reservation. Not only did the service leave much to be desired, but the food did as well. Upon entering the building, the interior of the restaurant gave off old school, classic steakhouse vibes and instantly reminded me of Golden Steer in Las Vegas (iykyk). Sadly, comparing Christner's to the Golden Steer's vintage charm was my first mistake. Thinking the food might be up to par with theirs was my second. The service was lackluster and nothing to write home about, as was the food. I had notified the restaurant ahead of time that we were celebrating our 1 year wedding anniversary and absolutely nothing significant was offered at all to acknowledge our special occasion besides "happy anniversary". But sadly, the food quality was the biggest let down of the evening. The bread was nothing special, the calamari was soggy, my crab cakes were mushy and tasteless, the chateau potatoes very under salted, and my husband's beef Wellington left much…

Classic steakhouse experience. Food and ambiance were amazing. Table side magic was a nice touch.

Lovely atmosphere. Great people. A little slow but that's purposeful.

On May 2 at approximately 8:30 PM, I arrived at Christner’s Prime Steakhouse in Orlando, Florida, as a guest accompanying my brother for his birthday celebration. Unfortunately, what was meant to be a special evening quickly became a disappointing experience due to poor customer service and lack of professionalism. After waiting about 15 minutes without any reassurance or communication regarding our reservation, I approached the hostess stand to ask if our table was ready. This was especially frustrating after noticing several guests with 9:00 PM reservations being seated before us. At that point, it genuinely felt as though we were being profiled or treated unfairly. When I politely asked about our table, one of the hostesses loudly responded, “It’s ONLY 8:42 PM.” I then requested to speak with a manager due to her rude tone and dismissive attitude. The manager eventually came over and stated he would see what was available. He later suggested seating our party of seven at a round table intended for six people and said we could simply “squeeze” another guest in. Rather than being uncomfortable, I suggested we wait a few more minutes for an appropriate table since it was almost 9:00 PM anyway. The manager stated he would return with an update, but he never came back. By 9:10 PM, we still had not been seated. Eventually, the same rude hostess told us to follow her. After waiting nearly an hour, we expected a comfortable dining setup, especially for a birthday celebration at a…

I celebrated my 23rd birthday at Christner's Prime Steak & Lobster last Saturday night (May 2) with friends and family, and unfortunately the experience was extremely disappointing from a service standpoint. I made a reservation for seven people several weeks in advance for 9:00 PM. We arrived early at approximately 8:30 PM, checked in with valet, and spoke with the hostess stand immediately. I completely understand arriving early does not guarantee immediate seating, especially at a busy and well-known restaurant, but what was disappointing was the complete lack of communication and professionalism from the host staff. After waiting over 10 minutes with no update whatsoever, my sister politely asked for an estimated wait time. One of the hostesses responded with “It’s only 8:42” in a very dismissive and passive tone, which immediately set an uncomfortable tone for the evening. At that point, we asked to speak with a manager. The manager informed us he would check on seating arrangements and later returned saying there was a table available that could accommodate six guests, but that he preferred to seat us on the “main” side of the restaurant instead. Ironically, after all of that, we were not seated until 9:12 PM — 42 minutes after we originally arrived — and were placed in what felt like the complete opposite of the area we were told we’d be seated in: a very cold, isolated back room of the restaurant that felt disconnected from the atmosphere we expected for such a…

Amazing steak and their sides are delish! Highly recommend!

Use to be the best steakhouse. Lobster had a nose hair on it. Steak was cold. Overrated and way too expensive.

We have been going to Christner's since they opened for special occasions. They have been consistently excellent in their quality each and every time! From the moment you walk in until you have eaten yourself silly and walk back out, it is always a wonderful experience. The food quality is top notch. On this trip my wife had their Lobster Bisque which was filled with large chunks of lobster while I had the Wedge Salad. One side note about the salad was that the server asked if I wanted Blue Cheese Crumbles but didn't mention there was an upcharge. I would have still said yes, but would have liked to have known. And the "crumbles" were actually very large and I wasn't a fan. Moving on, my Ribeye was spectacular! Cooked to perfection and seasoned perfectly! That was definately the star of the show. My wife had the Prime Filet Trio which she loved. It was just the right amount of steak for her and came with the most delicious potatoes.
