What diners say — our read

This is what agreement looks like: high ratings, clean inspection. Reviewers who mention the staff rate this place 5.0 on average — it is working in the restaurant’s favour.

22 of 22 rated reviews are four stars or higher; 0 are two or lower. What nobody raises here is serving size — it goes unmentioned across all 22 reviews.

The health record runs ahead of the reviews. The last DBPR inspection returned an A (99/100) with 1 basic violations. That result dates from May 18, 2026. Across its inspection history the kitchen is improving, which argues for giving it the benefit of the doubt. Ranked against Orange County, it is safer than 87% of the restaurants we score. What the inspector actually wrote up: insects/rodents/pests.

With both signals pointing the same way, there is little to argue about on this listing. Full reviews follow below in the order they were left.

Well... what a pleasant surprise! A real Irish pub pub. Easily the best in Florida. Easily top 10 in the US that I've been to... maybe even my top 5. Staff awesome (Courtney and green shirt scarred man!). Food awesome. Patrons awesome. Atmo awesome. Wanted to try and find things to complain about in my true Irish way...and I was unsuccessful. Sake You aint comin here...well then you aint comin here. That's on you.

First time going to this location after the original place closed down years ago and it was better than we had hoped. Tried a WHOLE bunch of food and it was totally worth it. Great place to hang out and talk to friends, family and/or strangers.

Went for St Patrick's Day. Crowded but really good customer service. Food came out fast. Because it was so crowded, the trash was piled high. Otherwise, it was great!

The Claddagh Cottage Irish Pub is Orlando's home of authentic traditional Irish music, food, and drinks. If you haven't been yet, you should go, if you've been, you should go back. Sláinte

Good music. Great food. Better than great service and Welcoming. What more could I have asked for? Maybe a limerick offered up by the bar?

  • March 27, 2026

    Food and music were fantastic
