Reviews via GoogleWhat diners say — our read
Complaints here are real, but they are mostly not about the kitchen. When how guests are treated comes up here it is usually a criticism, and the ratings attached average 2.1. After that, speed of service appears most often — 30% of the corpus, averaging 1.7.
Conspicuously absent: portion size, which no reviewer brings up. 1 star is the modal score, given by 12 of the 20 reviewers who rated. The split is 7 positive to 13 negative across 20 rated reviews.
The health record runs ahead of the reviews. The last DBPR inspection returned an A (91/100) with 9 basic violations. That inspection was on March 25, 2026. Across its inspection history the kitchen is improving, which argues for giving it the benefit of the doubt. On health score it sits safer than 46% of the Orange County restaurants we grade. Among the items recorded were food-contact surfaces clean and sanitized and nonfood-contact surfaces clean.
If pacing is what you care about, the reviews are the better guide here; if it is the kitchen, the grade is. The individual reviews are below, newest first, if you want the raw material.

Unfortunately the service is going down hill here. Bought a shake that ended up being soup (pic attached) and the employee was obviously frustrated by anyone that ordered. The menu board will be shut off sometimes, probably to deter customers. Also, had to repeat 5 times the order in the drive thru since the employee did not have the headset turned up.

Great service and ice cream.

Everything was literally horrible! Worse customer service experience ever.

The girl in the window did not listen to my order well. I asked to upgrade my drink, didn’t happen. I asked for chocolate ice cream, didn’t get it. I asked for queso as a dip, she confirmed at the window, still didn’t get it.

This was, without a doubt, the worst experience I have ever had at any restaurant. I have worked in the fast-food industry for many years, including helping open new locations and working directly with store owners, so I understand the expectations for customer service, food safety, and professionalism. When I went through the drive-thru, I sat at the speaker for at least five minutes without anyone acknowledging me. When someone finally responded and I ordered a Mini Choco Brownie Extreme Blizzard, the employee taking my order was very short and rude. After pulling up to the window, I noticed there were only two employees in the kitchen area. One employee was eating fries directly from a container with no gloves on while also walking around on her phone. There were no other customers in the drive-thru or at the counter, yet I still waited several more minutes before anyone came over to take my payment. Once I received my Blizzard and pulled forward, I realized it was made incorrectly. Unfortunately, I was unable to identify the employee responsible because no one was wearing a name tag. Thankfully, when I went inside, another employee was much more helpful and corrected the order. However, there was still clear cross-contamination with the replacement Blizzard. If I had an allergy to any of the ingredients involved, this could have resulted in a serious health issue. The lack of food safety standards, poor customer service, and overall unprofessional behavior made this an…

There are reviews/comments going back months pertaining to there not being enough employees and efficient employees. Customers are still experiencing long wait times to receive their orders. How is it that nothing has changed with this location? Unacceptable! And to the owner, please dont bother responding to me because clearly you have done nothing and will do nothing to make customers experience at this location better.

Idk how but they have the best onion rings I believe in town compared to any other fast food (BK, Culver's etc) or diners such as Perkins or Denny's etc. Definitely try the Onion Rings!!!

Great place and personal

Staff is always friendly. There's like 5 restaurants on this corner and I always pick Daily Queen cause the staff is so decent. Pulled up 11:00 pm on a Wednesday and was treated like a Dairy Queen.

I've been to this location multiple times and have had multiple issues. It's close to me so I continue to come back but now I will be driving out further to a different one. The last few times I've come here items were missing out of my order and this time three items were missing both of my ice creams and a drink. I work in food service so I understand mistakes happen and I try not to dwell on them. But this is a continuous issue from this location specifically

Ambiente agradable , la tienda estaba limpia solo que el piso estaba muy pegajoso y al caminar era terrible .

Drive thru girl had an unpleasant tone, I watched them microwave my $7 hamburger. The microwave is right in front of your face when you look into the drive thru window lol. I even asked what did the cook microwave and he admitted to heating up the patty with cheese in there. Unbelievable!!! Fries unseasoned no salt had to ask for a refund.

Asked for a chocolate brownie extreme, but 3/4 of the cup was vanilla.

Only two people working to forever to get my order got my order was wrong hire more people you guys are multi-million dollar corporation

I think the employees were unaware they had jobs. My husband and I went inside to order and waited for about 20 minutes. There were three people ahead of us and the entire time we were there, an employee came to the counter once. My husband and I then decided to try the Drive Thru, but there were several cars backed up with NO ONE at the window. Eventually, we just left because no one was being served and we were just sitting there wasting our time. REPLY: I can tell you REALLY care about your fans. Your use of the "ctrl v" keys throughout your replies to customer reviews really conveys your care and consideration for the customer feedback you receive.

Ice cream set to cold. It was iced. I grew up in Illinois with the very original first soft serve DQ store.

I commend the young man working the drive through around 10pm on 3/31/26. He was polite and helpful in correcting an error in my order.

Almost $4 for this! Seriously?

Yesterday 3/19 around 5pm, Dairy Queen really said come celebrate free cone day and then acted like my 4 year old was trying to commit financial fraud at the drive thru. I picked my daughter up early from school to go get a cone on free cone day because she’s been having a hard time lately. We pu, ordered, got told to pay, and when she got sad and said never mind, the employee said “ok you can leave then” with the customer service skills of a short medieval bridge troll. My daughter is currently being bullied at school for being slightly overweight… so after this she cried the whole way home. Congrats on winning your power struggle with a preschooler ig. Hope that promotion budget went toward customer service training because wow.

Took 35 plus min for a couple of blizzards just for them to be missing a good amount of ice cream. As well as not passing the blizzard test.
