Community Rating
Reviews via GoogleWhat diners say — our read
5.0 stars across 24 reviews, an A on the inspection — a rare case where both halves agree. Reviewers who mention the staff rate this place 4.9 on average — it is working in the restaurant’s favour. After that, freshness appears most often — 21% of the corpus, averaging 5.0.
Of the 24 rated reviews, 24 sit at four stars or better and 0 at two or below. Behind those, whether it is worth the money is raised in 21% of reviews (5.0 average). More reviewers landed on 5 stars than any other score — 23 of 24.
The health record runs ahead of the reviews. The last DBPR inspection returned an A (100/100) and no violations cited. That result dates from June 4, 2026. Across its inspection history the kitchen is improving, which argues for giving it the benefit of the doubt. That puts it ahead of 100% of graded kitchens in Orange County. Nothing was written up at that inspection at all.
Nothing here pulls in opposite directions — an unusually clean read. The reviews themselves follow, unedited and newest first.

I live in Cape Coral Fl. My cousins from Orlando recommend this Italian restaurant, we loved the food and the dessert too, the only reason that i gave the service a 4 star is because they were packed and under staffed, but I highly recommend the delicious food 😋❤️

I go here when we come for volleyball. Best Italian food around, fresh and plentiful. Good pizzas, lasagne, and my favorite eggplant parmesean! Great wine list, very affordable food. Owner is working along with his staff, always glad to see you!!! Not a fancy exterior; but dont let that deter you or you will miss out!!

Great pasta. Made fresh! Finally, an italian restaurant that makes lasagna fresh to order!
-
A - MAZ - ING !!!! Must eat Italian place. The tricolor lasagna is the best lasagna! So creative and so delicious. The ambiance and all the food was exceptional. So glad we found this quick stop for a one day trip to Orlando as a family. Everyone loved the bread and oil with balsamic. Served warm. A herb crusted sourdough bread that is served warm and sliced with grill marks. Top notch! We will be back someday. If we lived in the area we would be here often!

Food is amazing, home made focaccia bread is amazingly good. Everything I order for delivery is tasty! So glad I found this gem. Hope to someday come in and enjoy in person.

Excelente lugar donde comerás con los verdaderos sabores de Italia, bien atendido en un lugar confortable y familiar.

Husband ordered rigatoni with Bolognese and he said it might have been the best Bolognese he ever had! I ordered the linguine with mushroom alfredo sauce with filet medallions and that was top notch. Even the toasted focaccia with oil and balsamic was more enjoyable than most Italian restaurants we dine at. Highly recommend. Our waiter was an Italian young man who seemed slightly outside his element ... A little shy maybe but otherwise no complaints! Fast service and excellent food at reasonable prices!

We are so excited about this place that I had to write a review before we even finished our meal. Danino's truly lives up to its reputation as one of the best Italian restaurants in Orlando. Everything tastes homemade, fresh, and prepared with real care. Our friend ordered the cheese ravioli. I had a custom shrimp dish with homemade pasta, lightly dressed with lemon and butter, along with the caprese salad. My wife ordered the pesto linguine. Pesto linguine is such a simple dish, but that is exactly what made it so impressive. When a restaurant can take a simple classic and execute it perfectly, you know you're somewhere special. One thing that says a lot about a restaurant is when everyone at the table starts talking about how good their own meal is. That happened here. Now let me tell you about the daily homemade focaccia bread. It arrives with olive oil and a sweet balsamic reduction that is almost dessert-like before you've even started your meal. The dough is soft and airy with just enough crunch around the edges. The flavor is incredible. We asked for more. Then we asked for more again. Then, somewhat embarrassingly, we asked for even more. At this point we're wondering if it's too much to ask for a box of the bread to take home with the leftovers! The waiter mentioned their pizza dough was also made in house. Can't wait to try! The ingredients are fresh, the portions are generous, the service is warm, and every dish feels like it came from someone's family kitchen…

Excelent service but the two guys... The gentleman and the blonde girl... Food was excellent... Prior to my visit I said that the best pizza was at Portofino hotel ... But Danino pizza was outstanding...
-
One of my favorite restaurants in Orlando. The best Italian food I have had outside of Italy. I go every trip intake to Orlando it's a must try.

Maravilloso restaurante, La Comida delicious, buen servicio y buen precio. Su pasticho delicioso!!

Very friendly, welcoming restaurant. The owners, server, chef are family oriented with very reasonably priced foods in a dining area complete with red and white checkered table cloths. If you picture a true quaint Italian, olde school style, this is it. Beautiful scenic music plays on a screen by the counter area giving just a little extra touch of easy listening music. It's wonderful. The pasta was cooked to perfection. Our two dinners, chicken Parm and linguine pasta with Alfredo sauce was amazing. We have eaten here previously with family in town visiting. It was such a great experience, I wanted to return. The family will be back for another visit, so we will definitely be back again. It feels genuine and authentic. Service was also top notch without being rushed. It was comforting to be there . It is so worth the trip to try a great meal.

Small family owned and operated restaurant serving fresh authentic Italian cuisine in a casual environment! I am so happy to have found this restaurant! First one I find serving real Italian food. The owner and the waitress are super friendly. Food is delicious and there are plenty of free parking. The restaurant is easy to miss if you are driving by because it is not visible from the road. We ordered a beef carpaccio, A risotto funghi, Lasagna Di Melanzane, and a calzone. Everything was delicious but our favorite was the carpaccio! For dessert we ordered the Chocolate Amaretto Cake, baked by the owner's wife, which was delicious! A great option for a Saturday lunch with the whole family. We are coming back! Super recommended!

I wish I took a before photo but the food was so good I didn’t bother and dove right into the food. It’s unstoppably good. Genuinely some of the best Italian food I’ve had in years. The Lasagna Tricolore was absolutely incredible. Extremely fair prices. Great family atmosphere. Definitely owned by a family who cares about the art of good food. You have no idea what you have here, Orlando. This is the real deal
