Reviews via GoogleWhat diners say — our read
The inspection record is the stronger half of this page. Reviews mentioning service average 3.5 stars, so it divides opinion rather than settling it. Pacing follows at 35% of reviews, where ratings average 2.4.
If you had to pick one number to represent this corpus it would be 5, the most frequently given rating (6 reviews). Behind those, how clean the place looks is raised in 20% of reviews (3.5 average). Newer reviews score better than older ones (3.5 recent against 3.0 earlier), so direction is worth weighing alongside the average.
Against that, the kitchen inspects well — an A (97/100), 3 basic violations at the most recent DBPR visit. DBPR last walked in on January 26, 2026. Its inspection trajectory is downward over the records we hold. On health score it sits safer than 72% of the Orange County restaurants we grade. The citations behind that grade include plumbing installed & maintained and garbage and refuse.
The weak part of this listing is the experience, not the sanitation — those are different failures. Read the originals below and judge the pattern yourself.

Bathroom floor was dirty full of hair everywhere housekeeping manager should do better when inspecting the room it was totally gross the bedsheets stained 🥴 Be aware of a $22 parking fee or $30 valet parking. Check in was easy fast the front desk agent was friendly the only positive about my short stay .

First room smelled horribly bad as if no one had been in that room since the building was built. Second room wasn't clean properly and looked as if someone had been in there because the air conditioning was on and it smelled up air freshener. The bathroom toilet had remnant in it. Had to ask the on-call cleaning lady to clean the bathroom. Didn't change room the second time because it was already almost 3:00 a.m. and I was exhausted. The on call guest service ladies were not the most patient and I was losing my own patience because I was exhausted. Only stayed two nights so I pushed through. While the lobby and downstairs looks nice and modern, the upstairs in the rooms are old and dated. The carpet is the worst. I had a room with the tub and the tubs paint was coming up. The toilet in my room did not flush correctly. So you have to flush the toilet three times for the toilet to empty. I expect more from a Hilton hotel. I won't be staying at Hilton anymore.

Complete trash waited for a shuttle to pick us up from airport was told it was on a 15 minute loop and would pick us up. We waited two hours no bus got to the hotel and everybody that was already checked in was complaining of no towels and by the time we finally checked in was 1 AM and everybody that was already checked in you could tell once you got in the TVs did not work and you were out of towels if you need more than one and you were basically SOL…… skip….

The check in process was horrible. We didn't have towels in our room. There were several other guests they were short towels as well. You have to pay to park your car on an outside lot. However, they did give us a cookie.

Is very good hotel

When we had a problem with a reservation at a different hotel when we flew in after midnight, this location was so friendly and helpful.

I stayed here after arriving from a 12 hour flight to Orlando. The shuttle service was efficient. The service was great. It was nice to have the allergy friendly cookies available so everyone can enjoy them. However, the hotel is starting to show its age because the rooms have a small smell to it. The hallway was a little humid and the wallpaper was slowly stripping off. I would stay here again because of the convenience the airport.

Valet parking attendant Jamali (my apologies if I misspelled his name) provided exceptional customer service. He was always pleasant, professional, and very helpful. Another gentleman on the valet staff was also wonderful. The drivers to and from the airport were excellent, and I always felt safe during the rides. What truly touched my heart was that I accidentally left my Mickey Mouse bear behind. I was devastated when I realized it was missing. Same day after contacting the staff, I learned they had found it, labeled it with my name, and safely held it for me until I could retrieve it. I was so grateful and emotional to have it returned. Thank you to the entire team for your outstanding service, kindness, and care. Experiences like this make a lasting impression. — Christine Blair

(2) This time I looked at the HVAC through the vents. Filter dirty and dated 06/04/25.. Are paper filters good for a year?! Well, it's an old building. Showing some age. Room smells stale: probably the HVAC filter by the looks of the vent. Fitness center is midrange.

It's just old and very heavily used.

Very nice hotel convient to the airport
-
Close to airport was great A new employee we dealt with, made up answers and information because she didn't know and just wanted you to go away. We waited 45 minutes for the shuttle that circles every 15 minutes. Unacceptable.
-
The time was short, however the location was perfect. A short trip to the airport and a shuttle service was provided.
-
This hotel needs an entire refresh - rooms are substandard and pretty much useless. There is smell everywhere and also walls are thin as hell - so it’s loud. Only good thing is its location - distance to MCO.
-
Prices advertised don’t match up. $88.00 when much more was charged. Also, $22.00 parking fee was mentioned after the reservation was made. Who charges people to park in their own lot?
-
Always great service here so far, don't wanna jinx myself

We had made reservations 3 months in advance...we arrived but we waited at least 30 minutes as they looked for a room for us. It was after 5:00pm and check-in was at 4:00pm. We asked if there was a problem as they weren't keeping us informed as to what they were doing...when we asked...the person was very rude and we're looking for a room. Finally, they got us a room...we went to the room to find the sheets looked liked they had been sleept in and the toilet seat fell off the toilet. We called front desk and they said come down to change rooms. We did. The new room was better but being a "Hilton" property...I'm shocked at how run down this property is...especially the bathrooms. Went to make coffee this morning...coffee maker didn't work..and.had to call housekeeping...they didn't have enough coffee packets for reg. coffee...went down to front desk to get extra water...said they would only give me 2 wster bottles. For the inconvenience, they gave us free entree at the restaurant...food was terrible...wine was cheap...and costs way too expensive. We will never again stay at a Doubletree hotel.

Uncooked sloppy pizza rude waiters and slow service with beef burgers that are still mooing like they ain’t been washed and waiting 30mins counting for other food terrible service disgusting
-
This review is strictly for the airport shuttle service offered by the hotel. It is great on the way to the airport but always delayed on the return. I have watched the other shuttle services make multiple rounds while I wait and wait.. sometimes more than an hour which seems unacceptable since the hotel is 1 mile from the airport. Drivers are friendly enough but they need to work on faster pickups
