Reviews via GoogleWhat diners say — our read
Recent visits are landing softer than earlier ones did. Reviewers who mention the staff rate this place 4.5 on average — it is working in the restaurant’s favour. After that, how clean the place looks appears most often — 50% of the corpus, averaging 3.5.
More reviewers landed on 5 stars than any other score — 9 of 14. Behind those, whether food comes out hot is raised in 17% of reviews (5.0 average). The split is 9 positive to 3 negative across 14 rated reviews, with 2 in the middle.
On the inspection side the picture is cleaner: DBPR graded this kitchen an A (93/100), with 2 intermediate and 1 basic violations. Whatever the reviews argue about, sanitation is not the weak point. That result dates from January 8, 2026. Across its inspection history the kitchen is declining, which argues for reading the older reviews with caution. On health score it sits safer than 53% of the Orange County restaurants we grade. What the inspector actually wrote up: dishwashing facilities and food manager certification.
With both signals pointing the same way, there is little to argue about on this listing. Full reviews follow below in the order they were left.

Garden Inn's don't have a free breakfast's any more, for this reason we won't be back. However the Receptionist Jada, was fantastic in assisting me in get boarding passes at 10pm local time from Allegiant website issues.. Management is messing up with cutting back on breakfast for the visitors. See you again after, you fire these people!!!

Quiet location

Room we were given had an overpowering smell of mold and mildew. All 4 of us started getting head aches and sneezing within minutes. We asked if we could please look at another room and were reassigned to a room 2 doors down. The next room smelled much better but still had an "old" and musty smell to it. The hallway carpets are visibly dirty, the walls throughout the hotel and elevator are dirty and dented up by carts so the paint is visibly chipped away in multiple locations. The front lobby seemed to have staff working there sometimes and other times the 1 or 2 hotel staff were not at the front desk but instead in a concessions shop located next to the front desk. The pool area had an overpowering smell of chlorine, more than any hotel or public pool we have ever used. We decided to check out after just 1 night there. When leaving, we walked out the front door and began rolling our suitcases down the sidewalk only to discover that a hotel employee had painted over 200 feet of the sidewalk's curb bright yellow without bothering to put up any wet paint warning signs. As a result, we rolled at least 3 of our suitcase wheels through bright yellow paint and both of our kids ended up stepping in the paint and getting it all over the bottom of their shoes. By far one of the worst run and most sloppy hotels we have stayed at. Did not feel sanitary or enjoyable staying there.

I’m just a local resident 2 miles away who needed just one night to align my thoughts. I want to thank out LOUD TO JADA & SCOTT. thank you for your kindness! Keep doing your thing!

Stayed here during my UCF orientation. Staff was amazing. Eva was a gem. Food was great. Our room was a wellness room or something that and had an air purifier and a water filter in the shower. Bed was comfy and had hypoallergenic pillows and sheets which was something I've never seen before but it was nice.

Front desk staff were very friendly. The room was a little dated, toilet filled very slow after a flush, no filter in the AC; however, bed was comfy, water was hot immediately, everything was clean upon checkin. The coffee maker was not a K cup but it worked just fine. The restaurant/bar was fantastic, dinner was delicious, bartender Gabriela asked all the right questions to ensure we got the food and drinks we would enjoy, she made sure our drinks remained full. Breakfast featured 3 styles; continental, buffet, and menu. I opted to order from the menu, my partner opted to order the buffet. Both options ended up being absolutely fantastic with the server giving just the right attention to make sure everything was great. Went for a swim in the outdoor pool that is open during daylight hours, it was very leisurely and relaxing. Overall a wonderful experience, the hotel is close to many different event venues as well.

Dirty and rundown. Time to demo, wish I didn’t book here.

Rooms were clean, but lacked must haves...no mini fridges or microwaves in room... big fail. even motel 6 gives you a mini fridge. Will not stay again.

Jada at the front desk was a breath of fresh air! She was kind, energetic, happy and accommodating! So nice to talk to someone who was happy and welcoming. ||All staff we interacted with during our stay were similarly happy and welcoming!||Clean rooms, and lobby! Definitely a nice place to stay and we left not only with no complaints but with a little extra pep in our step due to Jadas warm welcome, really setting the tone for the remainder of our travels! ||We booked via go port and the transportation from the airport to the hotel and from hotel to port was seamless!

Great service, location and hotel. Would definitely stay again.

The staff was so pleasant. The room was clean and comfortable. Great location, close to UCF.

Paid over $300 a night because it was graduation weekend and they didn’t even provide free coffee or breakfast. Also gave us a handicapped room with a handheld shower with zero water pressure and barely hot water. Definitely a disappointment for a Doubletree. Only positive was they decorated the lobby for graduation and rooms were clean. If you are attending a graduation it’s convenient but for the price I’d stay farther from campus to have a nicer hotel.

Location was perfect so much to do around the area. The staff was incredibly helpful, especially Alex, he absolutely made our trip!

I always review Hiltons since I’m an honors member. This stay was very pleasant. Although I immediately slept and left they had a lot to offer. The parking was tight but ample. I believe they have a conference room, buffet dining and more. My room was nice and clean, thank you Sabrina and staff!

I've stayed at this location several times with my son going to school in Orlando. The MOST comfortable beds, clean, accommodating staff, great restaurant and bar, close to everything, etc. Sadly, my kids are officially no longer down there. I will miss this location.

The breakfast was absolutely delicious. The eggs and French toast were sublime. And the service, out of this world. So friendly, attentive, they made my day. Go to Chilexotic for all your meal needs. 5.1.26
