Community Rating
Reviews via GoogleWhat diners say — our read
This listing's ratings cluster at the two ends of the scale. Where service comes up, the rating that follows averages 4.0, so it reads as a strength. Pacing is the next most common subject, in 38% of reviews (averaging 3.0).
One subject never comes up here: plate size. If you had to pick one number to represent this corpus it would be 5, the most frequently given rating (13 reviews). Newer reviews score better than older ones (5.0 recent against 4.2 earlier), so direction is worth weighing alongside the average.
The health record runs ahead of the reviews. The last DBPR inspection returned an A (96/100) with 4 basic violations. DBPR last walked in on April 13, 2026. That puts it ahead of 66% of graded kitchens in Orange County. The citations behind that grade include clean clothes and food-contact surfaces clean and sanitized.
With both signals pointing the same way, there is little to argue about on this listing. Read the originals below and judge the pattern yourself.

My previous order was slightly messed up, but Elena, the Regional Manager, stepped in and quickly resolved the issue. She was professional, attentive, and genuinely cared about making things right. Her excellent customer service, prompt communication, and dedication to customer satisfaction turned what could have been a negative experience into a very positive one. Elena went above and beyond to ensure everything was corrected, and I truly appreciate the time and effort she invested in helping me. Thanks to her outstanding leadership and commitment to excellence, I will continue to be a loyal customer and would highly recommend the Fire House on Orange Avenue to others.

Really good place to get fast food that doesn't taste fast...

I got a meal for myself and my family and brought it home. When I got home my husband took one bite of his sandwich and he pulled a long hair out of his sandwich. He wouldn't even eat the rest of it. I spent over $20 just on his meal alone and that is disgusting. They should be wearing hair nets working in that type of environment or the very least have their hair pulled back.

These folks that work in the place are absolutely rude… when I walked in no one spoke and I stood there for about 3 minutes and no one said anything. I’m sure they were being racist all 3 were white young men they looked at me and put heads back down. I will never go in there again

I ordered an Uber Eats pickup order and accidentally placed it for the Conway/Michigan Location. Scott the owner was so incredibly kind enough that instead of us having to drive all the way there, he had his staff make the order and had the other location give our order back to the community. It was just such an unbelievably kind gesture when he didn’t have to do something like that. That is the difference between a good manager and a GREAT one. I can tell he is a staple in the community and this will always be my neighborhood firehouse because of his kindness. Thank you, Scott you’re awesome!

This place is TERRIBLE!!!. The service her is awful. Waited 30 minutes for two sandwiches. The service is extremely slow. I was the only person there at the time. I left went to the grocery store next store store I had already placed my order. Went next store to the grocery store. I came back , and my sandwiches were still not made...how is that possible?? To many young people working there no urgency at all. I will be reaching out to corporate as well. Very poor service.

Excellent service. The team member was helpful, and friendly assisting with the app. The food was hot and delicious. Food was ready quickly. The meatball sub is a go to when ordering. 5 stars for service and food.
