What diners say — our read

4.6 stars across 14 reviews, an A on the inspection — a rare case where both halves agree. Opinion on front-of-house is split — those reviews land at 3.7 on average.

Of the 14 rated reviews, 13 sit at four stars or better and 1 at two or below. The single most common rating left here is 5 stars (10 of 14). No one in this corpus comments on how much food arrives at all.

Against that, the kitchen inspects well — an A (100/100), nothing cited at the most recent DBPR visit. The visit behind that grade was May 21, 2026. Its inspection trajectory is upward over the records we hold. Ranked against Orange County, it is safer than 100% of the restaurants we score. No violations were recorded at that visit, which is the cleanest result available.

Both measures agree, which is the least complicated version of this page. The underlying reviews are reproduced in full underneath.

World Cup watching excellent. Beer good, wings great….. Irish nachos AWFUL! Potato chips(fair play, fresh made) with ? Cheddar cheese, lettuce, tomato and sour cream. No salsa, no jalapeño, no onion. Zero spicy…Bland.

Great place I have been coming here for years!!!

Harp & Celt Irish Pub & Restaurant feels like one of those places that has quietly outlasted every downtown trend, rebrand, and concept bar that came and went around it. Walk through the doors and you’re immediately hit with what an Irish pub is supposed to feel like: dark wood, cozy booths, a little bit of organized chaos, cold beer, and people who look like they’ve been coming here for years. The two-story layout gives the place a lot of character, and there always seems to be something happening. Whether it’s a quick pint before an event, a long lunch, or a downtown night that accidentally lasts longer than planned, Harp & Celt fits the occasion. The food is exactly what you want from an Irish pub. Shepherd’s pie, fish and chips, Guinness, and all the classics without trying to reinvent them. Sometimes tradition survives for a reason. What stood out most was that the place feels genuine. Not curated. Not manufactured. Just a comfortable downtown institution where locals, visitors, office workers, and late-night wanderers all somehow end up under the same roof. In a city that changes as fast as Orlando, places with this much history and personality are worth hanging onto. 🦩

Great place to watch a game with fans! Saw the champions league final there. Even though our team lost in penalties, it was a memorable atmosphere!

This bar rocks. I was able to have a couple Guinness and even order for at like 10:45 on a Wednesday. Good service.

I have been here more than anywhere else in Orlando. Not only because of the great food and drink. But because I love Trivia Tuesday! Harp and Celt are great people and better time.

Atmosphere is great. Quiet music but a good selection. Was there on a Friday night and it wasn’t rowdy, nice place to wind down the night or take a breather when crawling downtown. Food was great as well.

I get it’s St. Patrick’s day, but come on. This is a corned beef of rye and it was $14.75! How is this worth that? Bagged chips and barely enough meat to cover the bread. If I knew I would get this sorry excuse for a sandwich I would have never shown up. The one day out of the year that celebrates my heritage I show up to my favorite local Irish pub and all quality goes out the window. Everything on paper plates, got food with no utensils or napkins. No service at our table even though we were told someone was coming, we waited for 30 mins and we had to get up an order at the bar. They’re out of fish and chips and didn’t let anyone know that they are serving bagged ruffle chips instead of house chips as they usually do. Disappointment to say the least.
