What diners say — our read

One subject runs through these 20 reviews more than any other: front-of-house. The staff tends to be raised approvingly here, averaging 5.0 stars. Freshness is the next most common subject, in 25% of reviews (averaging 5.0).

The split is 20 positive to 0 negative across 20 rated reviews. A third strand, serving size, appears in 15% of them at 5.0 stars.

Against that, the kitchen inspects well — an A (93/100), 7 basic violations at the most recent DBPR visit. That result dates from January 14, 2026. That puts it ahead of 53% of graded kitchens in Orange County. What the inspector actually wrote up: clean clothes and dishwashing facilities.

Both measures agree, which is the least complicated version of this page. Full reviews follow below in the order they were left.

Here from Dallas, looked for a local spot for Crab. Amazing food, staff and experience. Ask for Kevin he took great care of us and had all the right recommendations

My favorite seafood restaurant in Orlando. Every visit has been consistently great, and the portions are generous enough to share. The whole snapper was the star of the meal perfectly cooked with crispy, flavorful skin that was absolutely delicious. The salmon was also excellent and easily large enough for two people. We also enjoyed the popcorn shrimp and garlic shrimp, both packed with flavor and cooked just right. A bonus that keeps me coming back is the complimentary hush puppies, which are always a great way to start the meal. If you’re looking for fresh seafood, large portions, and a fun, casual atmosphere, this is a must-visit spot in Orlando. It’s easy to see why locals keep coming back.

HTH is always a great place, I have visited multiple times, and am never disappointed. Food and staff are both as good as it gets.

Ge was an amazing hostess. She gave us time to choose from the lengthy menu. She even advised us on what to choose which was great it being our first time. Good was great and filled us right up. Thank you, we will visit again when we come back to Florida.

Great place.. homey and comfortable. The good was amazing, we split steamed clams and mussels.. so tender. We also had steamed oysters lightly steamed that were delicious and perfectly steamed pél and eat shrimp. We topped it off with the salted caramel cheesecake. It was probably the best cheesecake I've ever eaten. We will definitely be returning.

Kevin B. Made a father's day special for my husband. Offered suggestions and prompt with the food and drinks. The food is excellent, as always, and another fond memory is packed up for Harry's.

Been a long time since I’ve been to High Tide Harry’s. Back when it was at Colonial and 436 actually. The food was really good back then. Well finally made it to the new location on 436 near Gatlin. The Prix Fixe Menu 3 course deal. It was a great deal so we both had it with different selections. Did not disappoint (unlike our experience at Boston Fish House which nearly ruined our desire for ever eating out especially seafood). I had Ahi Tuna (perfect bite if you combine everything), a side if Top Neck clams (slightly overcooked - not much flavor) Lobster tail (broiled not my favorite way and slightly overcooked but still good) and for dessert Reeses peanut butter pie. My wife had Crab stuffed mushrooms, big fried shrimp (slightly overcooked) but she liked and NY cheese cake (New Yorker like it so must be good). Our waitress was nice friendly bubbly and she was fun and attentive. We will be back! Suggestions for even better experiences: Don’t overcook lobster, clams and shrimp (Clams - garlic - needed more flavor) Steamed broccoli - my wife makes the best so she’s sharing here secret - drizzle with butter and lightly dust with sea salt Those little things would get raves by your customers and keep them coming back. Take the Gordon Ramsey approach at the pass!! It’s so easy to get complacent and your customers just leave with a bad or mediocre taste that you can’t fix. Every dish counts!

We had such a great experience here. The waitress was top notch, she helped us get a great variety of food and recommended some wonderful drinks also. She had to run outside a lot for us also, since we wanted to enjoy the weather while we were here. My husband and son loved the bathroom soap so much we had to buy some. Here is a picture of them enjoying the smell of their hands!

Excellent experience at High Tide Harry’s! The chargrilled oysters were outstanding—flavorful, perfectly cooked, and easily one of the highlights of the meal. I also enjoyed the gumbo, which was rich and well-seasoned, along with the fried shrimp and catfish, both of which were fresh, crispy, and delicious. The food was excellent, the atmosphere was welcoming, and the service was great. I will definitely be visiting again the next time I’m in Orlando. Highly recommended!

Excellent food, friendly people and great vibes. Haven’t had seafood this good that isn’t in a beach or port city and frankly it surpasses most of them. Cannot recommend highly enough.

The atmosphere is amazing and the food (even when ordering out of season or out of state) is always consistently good quality. The specials are also always something enjoyable.

This was exactly what we were looking for before our international flight. Food was seasoned and fried with professional precision. Cocktail was smooth. Service was friendly. We're planning to come back!

We Love High Tide Harry's! We've been going for Years! And drive over 45 minutes to get here, and we go as often as possible! Food is Always Consistent! And Delicious! Perfectly cooked seafood, and the Blue Stew is Amazing! The great service is always so friendly! Thank you High Tide Harry's for keeping your food quality high level, portions large, even though prices have had to increase with the crazy economy currently. Keep it up HTH's! We Love you!

We came for bite30 but they also have daily specials. The atmosphere is delightfully tacky. The food was incredibly fresh. Light golden breading on the fried food. They have 2 for 35$ tuesdays. 1 app, 2 lunch size entrees w 2 sides each. It was awesome. Nicole P was our server she was knowledgeable, attentive and friendly. It’s been a long time since we were here and can’t believe we have been missing out this long.
