We had a nice stay at the Holiday Inn Express. All of the front desk staff were helpful and friendly. The rooms were clean and the a/c was cold. We had a problem with the door to the bathroom being a pocket door. It was difficult to open and close. I would imagine elderly guests or those with hand weakness would have difficulty opening and closing it.

Great Staff, alot of breakfast choices, Great cleaning staff, and the people at the desk are polite and professional. Also it's a short walk to Universal. It has multiple free shuttle bus rides and times too and from Universal. Here seven weeks for training. All around a great experience.

Very cramped rooms. Not enough room for two people. Bad design.

This place was just fine. They had breakfast, which was great. He actually grind the coffee fresh for you. It’s very close to universal and a lot of other things. And on a hot day, that pool was looking good.

The waterpark, the location, the variety of options to eat & drink & ALL the staff helping with my questions. Also a quick shoutout to Roy & Miguel (for holding our luggage) Maria (breakfast) & especially Jacob (from Aquatics) everyone was very helpful & friendly making our stay more comfortable & memorable. Staff was great. They help me and my family with some accommodation. (Extra towels directions advices) Atmosphere was great. Family trip was awesome. Thank you guys.

The location is very convenient to universal. The room was pretty standard if not a tab bit small. The breakfast option was basic but be warned that it is very crowded. I’m pretty sure I was charged upwards of $10 for a bottle of water from the market which is a bit absurd. The staff was nice enough. Parking was adequate.

We had an easy check in, with very clean rooms, the bed was made and all the towels were stocked in the room. We had some time in the pool and it was very nice and quiet, and the breakfast was always delicious.

I saw a cockroach in the room

Clean and super comfortable bed! Breakfast is good with enough choices. Worth the money spent!

This is a great hotel for a vacation at Universal. Everyone was kind and the room was clean. We mostly stayed at the parks, but we slept great and the breakfast was an added bonus. You can’t go wrong staying here for a Universal visit!!!

Comfy bed. Loose dog in the hallway lunged at me and almost gave me a heart attack. Breakfast was busy and tables were dirty. Universal shuttle didn’t run in the afternoon. Getting to universal from here is a slog even though it’s “nearest”. I guess there’s no good way to get to universal from anywhere.

Bathroom was pitiful for the price - needs an update with more than one tiny shelf in the shower. Bathroom pocket door presented a struggle to open, close, and lock. Staff was friendly and helpful

This hotel has a very happy and friendly staff. The free breakfast is very good with a wide variety of proteins and sides with fresh ground, made to order coffee machines. We had 2 queen beds in our room. It was a bit small, but very clean with thoughtful amenities that make up for the slightly older but updated property. The air-conditioning kept up with the hot temperatures, but it remained a bit humid in the room. It was a great 4 night stay and the pool was a nice amenity. It's also close to the Pirate dinner theater which I highly recommend especially for families.

We recently stayed at the Holiday Inn Express in Orlando for 1 night while visiting Epic Universe at Universal, and it was a great experience for our family! The hotel was only about a 10-minute drive from the park, which made it super convenient. The kids really enjoyed the pool, and our room was clean, comfortable, and spacious enough for our family of 5. The front desk staff at check-in were very nice and welcoming, which made us feel right at home. The hot breakfast was also a big plus before heading out for the day, and having coffee available in the lobby 24 hours was a nice extra touch. Even though it was a short stay, we had a wonderful time and would definitely choose this hotel again for another mini getaway close to home!

We didnt' stay in the hotel much as we were doing touristy stuff; however, when we were there, the room was comfortable & the staff were helpful & friendly. There was plenty to choose from to eat during breakfast.

Can’t tell you about Holiday Inn express nearest universal unless I tell you about the woman, the myth, the legend! Her name is Miss Barbara. She went above and beyond to help my son and I. I thank her from the bottom of my heart.

Convenient location and clean facilities. Breakfast food freshness can be better (fruits).

This hotel is an amazing value near the Universal Resort. The room was clean. The staff was helpful. Breakfast had many options and was tasty.
