What diners say — our read

If these 22 reviews agree on a topic, it is front-of-house. Reviewers who mention the staff rate this place 4.4 on average — it is working in the restaurant’s favour. After that, how long an order takes appears most often — 27% of the corpus, averaging 4.4.

More reviewers landed on 5 stars than any other score — 15 of 20. Of the 20 rated reviews, 17 sit at four stars or better and 2 at two or below.

That matters because 14% of reviews raise cleanliness and rate it 3.0 on average — a complaint the inspection record does not support, since DBPR graded the kitchen an A (99/100). That result dates from March 11, 2026. That puts it ahead of 87% of graded kitchens in Orange County. What the inspector actually wrote up: wiping cloths.

Both measures agree, which is the least complicated version of this page. Full reviews follow below in the order they were left.

Pros: reasonably priced room, free parking, friendly staff, good location for flying in/ out of MCO Con: too many utensils and cups in the breakfast area were wrapped in plastic or paper. A complete waste of materials and the time that it took to open everything. Another group got in my way because I was still opening the wrapper on my coffee stirrer.

Ms. Cara was an absolute GEM. She made sure we had everything we needed and was extremely helpful in making sure we were comfortable before our flight. I highly recommend the home 2 suites.

Overall a great place. However when arriving at 11 pm at night it was not the most inviting place. Multiple guests were smoking at the entrance around the 11pm time. And they were right by the front door. Check in staff wasn’t the most pleasant but did his job. Rooms are solid. Lots of room and big bathroom. Overall the rooms were very clean, modern, and safe. Pool looked clean and new as well. Breakfast was alright. Nothing to right home about but things were always stocked. Overall enjoyed my stay here but will look for other options when staying at MCO again.

John the shuttle driver was very helpful. We appreciated his willingness to assist us and answer our questions.

  • June 19, 2026

Not far from the airport, about 10-12 min when there is minimal traffic. About 45 minutes from Port Canaveral.

The room is clean and good but there is someone in another room i am pretty sure is smoking every day at like 4:30 am … i am sure they are just turning in the barhroom exhaust fan and blowing it through there my bathroom stinks to cigarettes the front desk told me is people outside smoking i am sure its not… they did not change my room claming they were full. They is disgusting and now i have a headache. I am staying at room 129 and its literally 4:50 am right now. Our airport driver George was very professional and we had a wonderful conversation. He definitely deserves a raise. He represents Hilton’s customer service very well.

Great service and help from the shuttle driver George, from airport pickup to shuttling us to dinner and back, friendly and knowledgeable member of the home2 willing to go the extra mile.

I wish I could give 5 stars for service as all the staff was nice to me except one person. The shuttle driver that was working Sunday morning 6/7 10:30am shuttle to be exact (I did not get his name so I want to be very specific on who I am talking about). I was checking out that morning, and asked the front desk if I could catch the next shuttle she said yes and that the next shuttle would be at 10:30am. I waited outside for the shuttle along with 2 other gentlemen. When the shuttle arrived I greeted the shuttle driver with a hello, and smile (he just looked at me). When it was time to put our luggage in the back of the shuttle before he grabbed mine he asked ONLY ME did I have an appointment to take that shuttle, I said sir I spoke with the front desk and she told me I can catch the next shuttle, and I explained to him that I was a guest at that hotel. He disregarded what I was saying and kept saying I needed an appointment with him to take his shuttle and hitting his watch with his pointer finger. After him questioning only me, I finally said the front desk lady told me 10:30am was the next shuttle i can take so what’s the issue. When I said that he just waved his hand to shooo me away and said okay. He didn’t apologize, and never once questioned the 2 other gentleman that was waiting for the shuttle as well. I stay at a lot of hotels with a complimentary shuttle to the airport, and have never been treated like that. I felt very singled out, and embarrassed after he…

It’s more than just airport parking. This Home2 Suites is not only conveniently located near Orlando International Airport, but also close to major highways, shopping, and a variety of restaurants. The hotel offers the reliable Hilton experience, including complimentary breakfast and free parking. The digital key worked flawlessly throughout our stay. We would definitely stay here again when visiting the Orlando area.

We had a 5 night trip planned and we are on night 4 and they haven't cleaned the room once. We asked them 2 days in a row to send up house keeping and they didn't. Horrible service. Location next to the airport is great though. Edit: they eventually dropped off some linens for us to change the bed Edit edit: they gave us the wrong sized linens to change our own bed 🫠

After 2 flight delays coming from Albany NY, we got to MCO at 10p and were dragging through terminal A. Our shuttle driver George was the best. He was quick from pickup to drop-off when we needed that the most. Thank you George!

I stayed with you in March on an employee day and showed up at midnight due to issues at the Orlando airport. The online key system was having issues and your night auditor whose name starts with a J did a fantastic job of helping us get through those and taking care of us as we arrive so late. Thank you!

We live about 2 hours from Orlando and sometimes it's best to fly out of there than our local airport. I like to get a room the night before so I'm not getting up at 4am. |This is our first try with Home2Suites. They're only a mile from the airport, have a shuttle and for a fee you can keep your car there while you travel. That's all pretty standard for a bunch of hotels in the area. The reason this one will be our goto, is due to how nice the place is. If it's not brand new (I don't think it is), it was just refurbished. Everything is modern and new. A nice surprise was the size of the rooms. You kind of get used to the default size hotel box room, so the length of these rooms was a nice surprise. We had 2 queen beds. Even with that, there was room for a loveseat and a kitchen with a small full size fridge and a couple of burners. If I was traveling for a week on business, I could easily stay in this place. ||Free breakfast was a bit better than most, with a few hot things in addition to the make your own waffle station. ||The staff was way attentive as well. They answered our questions about parking and took care of our reservations for the shuttle. The charge for parking while flying was $12 per day. I mentioned that I swore the website said 10, although mentioned it may not have been their site, but like a booking.com or something. 2 bucks is no big deal so I let it drop. The next morning the guy at the desk said he'd looked online himself and it WAS their site and it…
