Really loved my experience at this hotel. I stayed here over the weekend to go to Universal theme parks, and choosing this hotel was the right decision. The location is super convenient, it is only a 5-7 min drive to the Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure, and a 13-15 min drive to the Epic Universe. If you want to Uber to the parks, it ends up being reasonable cause of the close proximity. This hotel also offers free shuttle service to the parks and back to the hotel. The shuttles leave in the morning at about 45 minute intervals, and start returning to the hotel 5pm onwards all the way up to 9:20pm. It's super convenient to use the shuttle and because the park is super close, it only makes one additional stop (takes about 10 minutes to get to Universal Studios). The hotel was very well maintained and furnished for a 3-star hotel. The rooms are super spacious, clean, and with new furniture. They also feature a nice living area with a sofa-bed, and a small kitchen with a microwave, kettle, and a refrigerator. The bathrooms, however, are a little small but still pretty clean and ideal. The hospitality and service at this hotel is remarkable. We came to Orlando to celebrate a special occasion, and the hotel staff presented us with a small gift package, a handwritten card, and a bottle of wine! This gesture was really sweet. Close to universal studios at a decent price..

I had a great experience during my stay thanks to Dawneth. When I arrived, there was an issue with my reservation because the company that booked my stay had not paid for the room as expected. Despite the inconvenience, she remained professional, patient, and extremely helpful throughout the entire process. She took the time to investigate the issue, kept me informed, and worked diligently to find a solution. Her positive attitude and outstanding customer service turned what could have been a very stressful situation into a smooth and pleasant experience. Thank you for going above and beyond to help me. Employees like you make all the difference, and I truly appreciate your dedication to excellent customer service.

After a long travel day that literally anything that could go wrong would, a last minute booking at the Hyatt Place across from Universal was the best thing I could’ve done. Immediately checking in with Dawneth I relaxed. She recognized we had a long day and made sure the rest of our night would not be a repeat of the day we had. The staff here was excellent! Alissa was so helpful with getting our reservations coordinated with other family members and setting me up with Hyatt rewards.

First off, the Staff is amazing and accommodating. The ladies working when we arrived were Donna, and two other wonderful ladies. They made us feel welcomed and offered advise on everything from drinks to universal theme parks tips. No issue there, but as for the HVAC in the rooms, terrible and uncomfortable. The room stayed at 73 degrees, resulting in me buying two oscillating fans for the room to try to keep the room cool enough to sleep. I usually love Hyatt and the locations are great and pricing is real good, but I will not be staying at this hotel again. Mrs Doona was the only reason I didn’t leave the hotel for other accommodations and was very apologetic for having to purchase fans

Stayed here back in February. Rooms were a bit expensive. We soon realized that there was cheerleading/dance competition happening that weekend. Overall, it is a fine place to stay if you plan to be at the parks all day. It's a bare bones type of joint. Small hotel bar and pool. It is a 12-15 min walk and we loved that you almost got your own entrance to Universal. We would definitely stay here again and hope we pick the right weekend to go. We literally paid almost triple then what it normally costs to stay here!

Great location, great rooms, with a very solid breakfast. The staff was amazing and very knowledgeable about the local areas and the nearby theme parks. They also provide a shuttle to the Universal Theme Parks. I will say I was surprised there was a charge for parking, though. I was already paying for a room charging for parking seemed a bit much.

I stayed at this property for 3 nights while attending a tradeshow at the nearby Orange County Convention Center. Hotel and room was in excellent condition. Roberto at the front desk was super friendly and has a great sense of humor! Hotel is within walking distance to numerous excellent restaurants. If you don't want to walk, I highly recommend the new driverless Waymo service. Quick and easy and cheaper than Uber since there isn't a driver to tip!

Everything was clean, peaceful (once inside), and very comfortable. I will definitely be booking here again, especially if I can get the same room again.

This hotel is absolutely horrible, we got in late our first night and they gave us a room on the first floor next to the pool , during that night we had to listen to people come in and out of the door way by the pool area , the next morning after waking , I noticed the sheets had several nasty looking stains on them , which told me the sheets hadn’t been changed from who ever slept there last , my wife immediately told the manager and they offered us another room . The following night at approximately 2:30 am a whole slew of people came in yelling and screaming and loudly knocking on the door right across from us , and this went on for about 45 minutes, why management didn’t do anything about this is mind blowing, especially at that time of night ! After we left that morning, we arrived later that evening only to find out our room was not cleaned by house keeping, this was the second time this has happened. We will Not Ever stay at this hotel again or would we recommend it , oh ya , good luck trying to sleep with all the motorcycles racing up and down the area at night.

The Hyatt Place was THE PLACE to go. From the moment we entered the Hotel, we saw friendly faces at the reception. Room was huge, did not expect this at all. Breakfast was fine, just enough to kick your day with a nice meal. Transportation to / from the hotel was extremely easy. i would recommend this to anyone.

Once again we had an amazing stay at the Hyatt, César on reception is a credit to the company. It is people like him that makes us want to keep coming back.

Great location and excellent service from the front desk. That being said, we had to request housekeeping after our third night when our room was skipped despite having no tag on the door. Our body wash container in the shower was empty the entire stay. Upon leaving, we discovered an unknown guest charged food and alcohol to our room. The charge was promptly removed but it was alarming to discover this happened. Lastly, we purchased a high floor room but were placed on the fourth floor beside the elevator. The room was very noisy at night and I was woken several times due to room location.

The service was amazing!! All of them. Especially donna , over the top great service. Also Dawneth, great as well. Highly recommend staying here, clean rooms. Good food and happy hour every night.
