What diners say — our read

These 18 reviews do not converge on a single verdict. Reviewers who mention front-of-house rate this place 4.2 on average — it is working in the restaurant’s favour.

The single most common rating left here is 5 stars (8 of 17). Of the 17 rated reviews, 11 sit at four stars or better and 3 at two or below. A third strand, how much food arrives, appears in 17% of them at 3.3 stars.

The inspection lands in between as well: DBPR graded this kitchen a B (81/100), citing 2 high-priority and 3 basic violations. The visit behind that grade was January 13, 2026. The trend across inspections is decline. On health score it sits safer than 21% of the Orange County restaurants we grade. For specifics, the last inspection cited cross-contamination and handwashing.

The honest summary is that the evidence is mixed on both sides. The reviews themselves follow, unedited and newest first.

Not a fan of Hilton brand however this is a different type (members/owners) so the standard is set higher and was mostly met. I've just come to terms that Florida hotel rooms all smell like damp basements.

Stayed here for 5 nights for work at the Convention Center. There’s only room cleaning service every 3 days, which is inconvenient for long stays. First day they only gave me 2 towels, I had to ask for more. Check out service was smileless. Staff seem nice, especially luggage guys, they really helped me with a few packages delivered. I’d highlight the fact of having a washer and dryer, as well as a nice 24h gym.

Large suite, clean rooms. There is just one restaurant and the food can be better.

Greatly enjoyed my time at Las Palmeras. It’s a true resort in the Hilton tradition. The bedding and sheets are excellent. It is blessed with an exceptionally beautiful pool, which has live music and activities that are actually fun throughout the day. They allow pool floats - shout out to the lovely young man who came by my lounge chair twice to make sure his selection of colors met my approval. They have an excellent poolside bar, give out free water, and serve good meals poolside as well as in the restaurant. Well, we had a brief problem with the plumbing in the middle of one night, it was resolved within 15 minutes. The staff and the plumber ran up to our room and handled everything with many apologies. Highly recommended!

I think I am being overly generous with this review. I have been that way over my stay. If you need a good night’s sleep, stay away from here. I able to switch rooms during my day and that didn’t matter for long. Too much banging in rooms above you and chairs scrapping the floor. Of all hours of every single day. Without proper rest, your experience is tainted elsewhere. The restaurant and food accommodations on site are good. That is about all I can say, especially considering I have stayed at other Vacation Clubs. It just seems that Hilton, while expanding, has forgotten or devalued some significant things over the past few years…

Except for the location convenience for Orange County convention center north concourse, this hotel has no convenience. Property is old and service is average. Rare property where they have 10am check out time and start to get on your nerves right at 10 without checking your Hilton Honors status and benefits. Avoid completely the rooms with connected doors. Sound proofing is bad. Rooms size is good though. Limited on property food options for a 4-Star hotel.

Would have given 5 stars, unfortunately little disappointed on the actual room assigned for being a Diamond Member- the bed was very uncomfortable- have to admit we did take advantage of one of those exclusive offers where you had to sit in on the sale tour which by the way was awful!! So unless you’re a person who loves to take multiple vacations a year and you have all the time and money for it I recommend it. For most people do not accept an exclusive offer they pressure you in those sales tour to buy their vacation points packages!! It’s like buying a car but you don’t know what best price of car is!!

Always love staying in the Hiltons. This one is really close to the Universal parks.

Easy check in! Staff was very professional and full of smiles and awesome customer service! Near universal studios...great option for the price! Clean rooms and food is o.k.

Beware, the Hilton Grand Vacations talk is a fraud!!! The concierge at another Hilton hotel offered us a vacation voucher for attending that talk at this hotel. We've received a voucher from a 3rd-party company called Odenza. Odenza forced us to pay a $100 deposit to see where we can use the voucher. We're trying to contact Odenza to return the $100 deposit, and they keep ignoring questions and falsely claim they sent us a cheque by mail. Hilton keeps ignoring emails about this issue. It's a shame that our entire impression of this hotel and the Hilton network was totally ruined by this experience, and we're not alone. Google it

As a Hilton Grand Vacations owner I am very disappointed in the two bedroom accommodations. They call this a pool view & will not make any other accommodations on our behalf. As a member who has spent my hard earned money I expect more that this crappy view. There is no where to add pictures but there idea of pool view rooms is staring at all cement roofs and their vents.
