Reviews via GoogleWhat diners say — our read
Not every diner trusts the room — though the last inspection found little to support that. Front-of-house cuts both ways here, averaging 3.7 among the reviews that raise it. Cleanliness follows at 26% of reviews, where ratings average 2.8.
The single most common rating left here is 5 stars (12 of 19). Behind those, value for money is raised in 16% of reviews (3.0 average). 14 of 19 rated reviews are four stars or higher; 4 are two or lower.
The health record runs ahead of the reviews. The last DBPR inspection returned an A (100/100) and no violations cited. The visit behind that grade was April 27, 2026. On health score it sits safer than 100% of the Orange County restaurants we grade. No violations were recorded at that visit, which is the cleanest result available.
This is a listing where the two measures each tell half the story. The reviews themselves follow, unedited and newest first.

Was there for a conference. Couple issues with the room but staff was very responsive. Cost of meals at the hotel restaurants were rough. Overall decent place! Clean and spacious.

Amazing place

Stayed here for a dance competition and the property was amazing!

Was up there for a conference for VFWand Auxiliary

This was a great stay! Highly recommend. One note, the hotel is busy and full of kids - it’s loud. Didn’t bother me but something to consider if that bothers you.
-
Rooms were nice and clean. Room service was spotty. Not always came early and at times we had to call to remind them. There also was a Dance competition and the lobby was filthy with trash overflowing in the trash cans. It wasn’t until late in the evenings that they would change them out.
-
Guest service is bad . Bad communication , no help regards information you need . Front desk person 9pm shift is rude. To get out of the Hotel it’s 46$ every single time you want to go out in your car . Don’t recommend.

I’ve called a million times to express our dissatisfaction regarding our stay, but no one answers. The hotel is extremely neglected and dirty; the water play areas are disgusting and completely non-functional. It bears no resemblance to the images they advertise—I don’t understand how a 4-star hotel can be in such a state.

My fiance and I booked this hotel through Costco travel. We are extremely upset and disappointed with the service we received. We were going to be travelling from Canada to visit this hotel and unfortunately had a severe medical emergency that stopped us from being able to travel. We reached out to Costco travel and informed them in which they reached out to the hotel for a refund. They said they would not give us a refund due to “no show”. Which makes no sense as they reached out to them the day before we intended to stay there. we were planning on booking with them again in the future and will never be booking with them. This is terrible service as we have documentation showing we could not physically travel and unfortunately had unforeseen circumstances where we could not atttend. Do not book this hotel unless you are 100% certain you can do. God forbid you have a medical emergency lol. Wish i could give 0 stars. Do better.

Rooms are outdated, the first room we checked into smelled horribly musty, so we requested to change rooms. Staff were thankfully quick to change us into a newer room with no carpet. However, the bedsheets in the new room were musty too! Because we checked in late in the evening, we waited to request the sheets be changed until the following day, and they did. So service overall was responsive, even if rooms are not in the best shape. Our daughter also has food allergies. Bella Provisions was not well equipped to answer questions about allergens on their menu, they had me wait until the rush died down so I could speak with the chef. Tradewinds was much better about handling allergies. Excellent location though- you cannot beat a 10 minute walk to Seaworld, and the splash zones/pools are good for little ones.

Check in and out super easy and the service amazing. The room was excellent!

This place is close to my heart as I have been staying here for literally 40 years. They have the most impressive open lounge you will ever see it. Amazing food options, heated pool and an even fire pit at nights. I love the glass elevators too. They find a way to be luxurious but affordable. It’s a bit on the older side but do not hold me back.

The rooms were nice and clean. The shower had good water pressure! The staff was courteous at check in and in the stores.
-
The rudest employees I have ever met. Waited in line over an hour to check in. 2 conventions going at one time and only 2 people working the registration. When I asked why he was extremely rude. All kinds of fees. Parking $50 Resort fee $50 plus cost of hotel room. Burgers $21 and they’re gross. Do not recommend this place AT ALL.

Here for a conference, and it is a beautiful space with excellent staff!

I moved from another hotel up the road because of problems with the room: no AC and handle came off in the shower. From the minute I walked in and Alexis helped me at the front desk, I felt welcomed and valued. I ate a wonderful meal in the hotel restaurant with Bradley as our server. He was attentive and courteous. Everything was delicious, especially the Snickers pie. I will definitely be staying again. Thank you for the incredible service. When traveling for work, it makes being away from home easier. 💕
