Reviews via GoogleWhat diners say — our read
Whatever the overall score says, the last stretch of reviews is the weaker one. Reviewers who mention front-of-house rate this place 4.0 on average — it is working in the restaurant’s favour. After that, wait times appears most often — 29% of the corpus, averaging 3.3.
15 of 21 rated reviews are four stars or higher; 5 are two or lower. The single most common rating left here is 5 stars (12 of 21).
On the inspection side the picture is cleaner: DBPR graded this kitchen an A (96/100), with 4 basic violations. Whatever the reviews argue about, sanitation is not the weak point. The visit behind that grade was April 6, 2026. Across its inspection history the kitchen is declining, which argues for reading the older reviews with caution. On health score it sits safer than 66% of the Orange County restaurants we grade. For specifics, the last inspection cited garbage and refuse and floors, walls, ceilings clean & maintained.
Neither signal is decisive on its own here, which is why both are shown. The underlying reviews are reproduced in full underneath.

I returned home from a nine-month deployment to Israel and happened to come back just in time for my 20-year class reunion, which seemed like perfect timing. I was looking forward to relaxing, reconnecting with old classmates, and enjoying the evening. The atmosphere at the bar was good, and the prices were reasonable, but unfortunately my experience with the bartender completely ruined the night. On my first round of drinks, I left the bartender a $5 tip. Apparently, that upset him. When I returned for my second round, he said, "Hopefully you don't waste my time this time." Confused, I asked what he meant. He replied that I had only left him a $5 tip. I explained that it was only my first round of drinks and that I planned to continue tipping throughout the night. Instead of accepting that explanation, he remained disrespectful and made it clear he felt the tip wasn't enough. His attitude was completely unprofessional and unnecessary. After spending nine months overseas in Israel, his comments and disrespectful behavior truly triggered me and nearly caused an incident. Thankfully, my classmates and fellow soldiers who were with me helped calm the situation down. Feeling pressured by his remarks, I ended up leaving a larger tip on my second round, even though I didn't feel he deserved it. The bartender went on to imply that I had wasted his time and that he had better things to do than serve me. At that point, I decided not to order a third round and left feeling extremely…

IMO, Menu needs an upgrade, patio and inside need a good scrubbing and paint. The restrooms need a makeover. It has fallen apart in recent years. Once a huge presence for EHS community. Would like to see it renovated and maintained. Still, great location

At an event not to far off and my party & I were starving. Didn't know they did last call for the kitchen 3 hours before closing so when we sat we quickly ordered. If you like cold cuts this is definitely a place for you, lots of sandwiche options.

The sandwiches are good. I recommend the Legend. The servers were nice. The atmosphere was average, not negative, just not memorable.. Clean, definitely seemed like a popular spot for lunch.

Great neighborhood bar, very clean, good sandwiches (even late), board games, live music, local crowd, and great service (Amanda was the best!). Even recommended some places around Orlando or the coast to visit (I was traveling - really appreciated this!). Wish we had a late night place like this to hang out with decent food back home!

I had a great experience at Ollie’s Public House. The atmosphere was welcoming and laid back, and the staff was friendly and attentive throughout our visit. My husband ordered the Cuban sandwich with chips and absolutely loved it, he was very satisfied. I had the club sandwich with the baked potato salad. The sandwich itself was delicious and very well made. The potato salad wasn’t quite my favorite as it was a little lacking in flavor, but it didn’t take away from the overall experience. Everything came out quickly, and we really enjoyed our time. We’ll definitely be back!

All of the food here always tastes fresh and made to order. Great selection of items and the service never fails to be friendly. Food arrives quickly and wait staff is very attentive without being annoying.

I went for a saint Patrick day ,btw, was very crowded. We were told they had some and ordered cornbeef and cabbage. We waited for over an hour only for them to tell me the food was gone ,and they offered me an awful expensive quesadillas I sm never going to go back

Was the server racist? I will let you decide for yourself. I want to believe that she wasn’t but here’s The situation: I arrive and seat myself as the sign says, outside on their patio then a white couple arrives after me and has a seat. I was waiting about five minutes at this time when the white couple came in the server goes to them first, wipes down their table, provides the menus and starts chatting it up with them so I assume that they’re regulars. while she was talking to them I said excuse me I also need a menu and she says to me one moment I’m taking their order. She has not asked them about their order at all at that point because I am in earshot of their table and the way that she said it to me and the face in which she said it to me showed me that she felt like I was being entitled. After she finishes conversing with them. She comes over to me, and I say to her no one has cleaned my table either and she says ok, We’re gonna do it with an attitude, or there are other tables already cleaned you can move to. I said to her as she cleaned the table by the way I was here before them. You are responding to me as if I’m doing too much although I was here before then and instead of acknowledging what I said she responds. What would you like to drink and do you want pickles once again with an attitude. I told her to give me water and yes to the pickles and she comes back and not even 40 seconds with it with this cup of water that looks brown at the bottom (it could’ve been…
