Community Rating
Reviews via GoogleWhat diners say — our read
An A inspection result sits behind a review average of just 3.1. When how food arrives comes up here it is usually a criticism, and the ratings attached average 2.8. How guests are treated is the next most common subject, in 29% of reviews (averaging 3.6).
More reviewers landed on 1 star than any other score — 6 of 17. A third strand, whether it is worth the money, appears in 29% of them at 2.2 stars. 9 of 17 rated reviews are four stars or higher; 7 are two or lower.
The health record runs ahead of the reviews. The last DBPR inspection returned an A (98/100) with 2 basic violations. That result dates from February 13, 2026. Ranked against Orange County, it is safer than 80% of the restaurants we score. What the inspector actually wrote up: food-contact surfaces clean and sanitized and cleaning and maintenance equipment.
Worth separating: the complaints above cluster on plate size, not on the kitchen, which inspected well. The reviews themselves follow, unedited and newest first.

My issue is with the Panera on S. Orange Ave. They constantly get my drive thru order wrong. I'm not sure if it's they are so busy, they mess up. Being halfway home, I'm not going back. Edit 6/17/26 Asked for my coffee thru the drive thru. Thankfully I'm not allergic to Cinnamon. Why in the world, would you add cinnamon to someone's coffe who never requested it, people are allergic to that. I ended up throwing it away. No, I didn't go back to get a replacement. Because honestly I was too far away from that Panera, and I do have the sip club, so I just waited a little bit later and got one later on. But it's ridiculous that they're not paying attention to the food they're giving to the people.

I had a really good experience at Panera Bread. The food was fresh, flavorful, and nicely presented. Everything tasted great, especially the bread and soups. The service was friendly and efficient, and the place felt clean and comfortable. It’s a great spot for a quick meal or a relaxed lunch—I’d definitely come back.

The 🍒 🍋🟩 is absolutely fantastic! I thoroughly enjoyed the caprese sandwich, and the extra 🥖 was dry and hard, which was perfectly fine. The service was great, and the food was amazing. I absolutely love their tomato soup and mac and cheese. I’m definitely coming back every week for my mac and cheese. The device and food here are always worth it!

I was pleasantly surprised that they actually had something I could eat (no meat, no wheat). They have a terrific salad with grains that you can get w/o chicken or bacon. It was good.

The cashier doesn’t repeat back orders, so I got the cruddy ‘creamy’ tomato soup instead of cheddar broccoli and they all looked at me like I had three heads when I mentioned it and my grilled cheese wasn’t even grilled.. bread wasn’t even toasted. Never again. Fix your teenage staff

Great food

This place is an absolute joke. Living down the street from here sucks cause I now have to go out of my way to go to another. How hard is it to order extra sleeves of large cups? How annoying is it to constantly order large drinks via the app only to show and be told “we are out, here’s 2 small cups”. This has been going on for months now.

Too expensive for a place where you have to clean your own plate. Came here multiple times and got messed up orders. Today I bought a rotten mango smoothie and otw home had the worst stomach pain in my life, got a ticket for speeding otw back, pooped my brains out on the toilet, and threw up. Edit 4 years in the future: Even more expensive and literally all of the food is frozen before they serve it to you. Why did i pay 25$ for 2 sandwiches to go? Also notice how they didn’t acknowledge this review and the rotten smoothie they served me. Thats because they don’t want to be sued into the ground for giving me food poisoning.

The salad i had was very good and the young lady that took our order wasn't kind. My salad had fruit in it which I liked the flavor the fruit gave it. I think the atmosphere of this place needs a little updating tho. Like pictures on the wall or fake flower arrangements something because it is a little drab in there nothing really to look at while your eating lunch and trying to just relax.

Avocado toast was cold avocado was bland the arugula on my toast was wilted. My oatmeal was good thank God! My spinach cheese souffle was old looking room temperature. Bathrooms were not clean at 8:00 am staff was friendly. I paid $40.00 for that messed up breakfast I'm so upset. It was like we throwing $40.00 hard earned dollars in the trash!!!!!

You're gonna charge me $15 for a bowl of soup and not give me my baguette in my to go order? I ordered 5 meals and none of them had the side that was supposed to be with it. Not worth it to begin with and you can't even get the order right. Never again.

Wheelchair access is not very accessible. You have to navigate thru the hosp to get in. The ketchup packets were swollen and ready to explode. Food not worth the money. $12 for a bunch of lettuce. Hardly any protein and two teaspoons of dressing. It was fresh though.

A little pricey food was okay. Just not enough for what you pay for. Nice place.
