What diners say — our read

4.2 stars from 16 reviews, with the reasoning pulling in different directions. Front-of-house tends to be raised approvingly here, averaging 4.6 stars. Freshness and temperature is the next most common subject, in 25% of reviews (averaging 4.3).

The state of the room shows up in 19% of reviews as well, averaging 3.7. 11 of 16 rated reviews are four stars or higher; 2 are two or lower. The single most common rating left here is 5 stars (11 of 16).

Against that, the kitchen inspects well — an A (92/100), 1 intermediate and 5 basic violations at the most recent DBPR visit. The visit behind that grade was May 5, 2026. Its inspection trajectory is downward over the records we hold. Ranked against Orange County, it is safer than 49% of the restaurants we score. For specifics, the last inspection cited food & equipment thermometers provided and accurate and food-contact surfaces clean and sanitized.

With both signals pointing the same way, there is little to argue about on this listing. The underlying reviews are reproduced in full underneath.

I always enjoy PDQ, but today around noon, I stopped to eat in. The dining room was almost empty. I chose a table that looked cleaner than most, but my napkins and even the condiment packet stuck to the table like they were glued on. Disgusting. I tried to get the attention of the 3 young people working behind the counter but was ignored, so I left. Didn't see any manager on duty. Clean up your dining room, PDQ. No wonder the place is empty!

Spicy tenders are always great here. Always hot and fresh and staff is always friendly. Have to drive from Waterford Lakes but it’s always worth it

They have the best chicken tenders around. I just wish they didn't close the store near me.

  • June 10, 2026

I had the crispy three pieces tenders combo meal and it was delicious and a great value. Don't sleep on their waffle fries either. Better than Chick-fil-A IMO. The tenders were huge, crunchy on the outside and juicy on the inside. They also have a great lineup of sauces and their PDQ sauce had a great garlic flavor to it. We will definitely be going back when in the neighborhood.

Love PDQ!! It’s my favorite place to get chicken tenders. They are the best in town. Always fresh, juicy and decent sized. So much better than Raising Canes.

This place has an issue with speed, I ordered my food at the drive-through and I had to wait 20 minutes for a simple chicken sandwich and a wrap. Unacceptable honestly, I might as well just go to a sitdown restaurant.

  • April 1, 2026

Ordered via DoorDash. Wanted grilled tenders with my combo. Maybe they didn’t have them but instead of replacing them with regular chicken tenders they just decided to not do tenders at all… don’t order here unless you want your order to be wrong

    Great service!

  • February 20, 2026

Excellent service and cannot beat the Mediterranean salad...some of tables were a little bit sticky but I think it's because they needed a better top coat....the best and friendliest staff

The food was wonderful although the atmosphere was unclean and the bathrooms were dirty and needs renovation the overall experience was three stars.
