Reviews via GoogleWhat diners say — our read
The recurring subject in this corpus is front-of-house, not the food in general. The staff tends to be raised approvingly here, averaging 4.8 stars. How long an order takes is the next most common subject, in 24% of reviews (averaging 4.2).
19 of 21 rated reviews are four stars or higher; 1 are two or lower. A third strand, whether food comes out hot, appears in 19% of them at 4.3 stars. More reviewers landed on 5 stars than any other score — 18 of 21.
On the health side, the most recent DBPR inspection returned a B (83/100) with 1 high-priority, 2 intermediate, and 3 basic violations — middling, much like the reviews. That result dates from May 12, 2026. The trend across inspections is improvement. That puts it ahead of 25% of graded kitchens in Orange County. What the inspector actually wrote up: potentially hazardous foods properly thawed and cross-contamination.
With both signals pointing the same way, there is little to argue about on this listing. Full reviews follow below in the order they were left.

First time there and as long as those PB&J wings exist I am going to be a repeat customer. Service was excellent. McKayla was the only name I got and I feel bad because front of house and back of house were stellar. If it were socially acceptable I would take a bath in the PB&J wing sauce. That's probably not even entirely a joke.

I thought the chicken was amazing, although my friend didn't care for it. She loved the beans and rice. "I could go swimming in that and be happy for the rest of my life" The portions were big and the staff was friendly. Not too long of a wait.

Great food, service and friendly staff.

this is my go-to place with my best friend and honestly anyone visiting orlando. ive tried a lot of the menu and everything is great Especially their street corn fries and on top of that, every member of staff is so lovely and makes you so comfortable!!

Love this restaurant - loved it more when their black beans were seasoned better, something changed with their recipe in the last few months and they're not as flavorful as they were. Edit: Beans are back to normal now!

I visited Pig Floyd’s for the first time to try the ribs, and they were absolutely delicious! We also ordered the brisket, mac and cheese, and baked beans, and everything was amazing. The food was flavorful, fresh, and exceeded my expectations. A special thank you to April for taking such great care of us. She was friendly, attentive, and provided outstanding customer service throughout our visit. I will definitely be coming back again. Thank you for the wonderful food and excellent experience!

One of our favorite spots!! My husband & I found this gem about 10 years ago while on vacation in Orlando. And we make a point to come back every time we are in the area. The food quality is premium…I always get the Bahn Mi with chicken & he gets the Big Floyd. Plus we add on ribs or burnt ends when available. Our favorite sides are the maduros & Mac n cheese. It’s a family friendly atmosphere with a staff that has always been eager to serve. If you haven’t enjoyed Pig Floyds, you’re missing out!

Overhyped reviews imho … After asking around for the best BBQ in Orlando at 8pm I ended up at the third best recommendation in town - Pig Floyd’s with fairly high expectations. The best way I can describe the experience is: it was fine dining… as in, it was fine, and I was dining. I ordered the brisket plate with two sides and a canned beer. The total came to about $51 including a modest 15% tip, which immediately sets a pretty high bar. The brisket wasn’t bad. It had a decent smoke ring and was cooked properly, but it wasn’t particularly memorable. It lacked the rich, melt-in-your-mouth quality that makes great BBQ worth seeking out. The sides were also perfectly fine and acceptable, but nothing stood out. In fact, the green beans may have been the highlight of the meal. The biggest issue wasn’t the food itself. It was the value. If this meal had cost $25-$30, I’d probably be giving it 4 stars and happily moving on. At over $50, I expected something that made me want to come back. Instead, it felt like I paid premium prices for an average BBQ dinner. This is the cost of fiat debasing of the money. It either becomes unaffordable or lower quality. To be clear, this wasn’t a bad meal. Service was fine, the restaurant was pleasant, and I finished everything on the plate. I just left wondering why I paid over fifty bucks for an experience that was ultimately so ordinary. Not terrible. Not amazing. Just… fine. Fine dining. Maybe it’s the best orlando can do I have to lower my…

Best ribs ever 👍🏼

Went hear a long time ago and they were great. Came 3 separate times in the last 5 months and I feel obligated to share just how the food has gone downhill. I always guess a restaurantis just having a bad day or week but it will be fine but all 3 visits in the last 5 months have been underwhelming and at best, just dry. I ordered what should have been the most juicy of meat items. Pulled pork, sausage and brisket. All 4 oz servings. Thr pork was so dry that I asked for more sauce. I took video of the sausage and how there was no shimmer or juiciness to it. The brisket was okay but not worth the trip anymore.
