POLLO TROPICAL #54

Ordered the Whole Chicken Family Meal and was disappointed. It was mostly wings with only one breast. For the price, I expected a properly portioned whole chicken. Very disappointing. 😔

It was pouring outside so we went through drive thru. We ordered a chicken all the way tropichop large & a chicken all the way with the beans on the side tropichop large. We also asked for 4 pollo sauce, 4 salsa sauce & 4 pineapple rum sauces. The cashier didn’t hear us so he asked us to repeat the order again which we did. He then repeated the order back to us correctly. Then when we got to the window he asked for our order again which we repeated. We also asked for yuca bites at the window. He charged us and didnt give us a receipt and told us to park in the front. The order finally came after 15 minutes. He ran to our car with no umbrella and our bag wet from the rain. We don’t live near by the pollo tropical. It’s a 30 minute drive. When we got home we checked the bag and saw the receipt and that the order was wrong. He charged us for the wrong items and gave us the wrong items.

Waited 15 minutes for pollo? It’s literally in the name of the restaurant. Honestly though, I didn’t mind the wait because it’s what my son was craving. I’m still giving this place 5 stars because, from the moment I arrived, I noticed how helpful the staff was. The restaurant was clean, and the cashier was very friendly, even while delivering the news about the wait time. Thank you for the great customer service!

Hay una empleada que le falta el respecto a los clientes y hasta levanta la voz por el carry out. Después cuando le dije firmamente que no me tenia que gritar ni faltarme el respeto y que queria hablar con el gerente no queria llamar al gerente. Finalmente vino una empleada diciendo que era la gerente y estaba maquillada como una payasa y me explicó, pero yo le dije que yo siempre iba a este restaurante y nunca habia tenido problemas pero que jamás iba a volver ya que me habian faltado el respecto y eso no es forma de tratar a la personas que vienen a comprar a su negocio. Todo empezó pq fui a comprar wraps y me dijeron que no los tenían disponibles y entonces decidí pedir dos combos 9A que normalmente me los sirven con arroz con vegetales, habichuelas y un side. Pero la empleada me dijo que no pero de una forma bien hostil. Y de mala forma me dijo que si pido la ensalada o otro complemento me lo van a cobrar. Tambien me dijo que las gente Biden otroa complementos y que hay cobrarselos. Parece que estaba de buen mal humor. Definitivamente alguien que no debe de Lidia con clientea. Que esta bien que no trajeras la habichuelas pero es la falta de respecto y que me levantó la voz mientras yo estaba tratando de ordenar. Si van a gritarle a lo clientes esperen el mismo respecto de vuelta. Despues me decia que le bajara la voz y que ella no habia sido pero era ella la.que me faltó elmrespecto pq era la.misma voz. Yo lemdije que no me.interesaba hablar con ella que queria hablar…

Quiero destacar a Gabriela por el excelente servicio que brinda. Fue muy amable, atenta y profesional en todo momento. Se nota que le importa tratar bien a los clientes y hacer que la experiencia sea agradable. Personas así hacen la diferencia. ¡Gracias, Gabriela!

Bought two large macaroni and cheese and one is half full, they tried to split it up into 2 containers but it still just one half full

They did a very good job on all the food the sauces really make the food and the staff was extremely helpful. My wife showed me this place and I really enjoy it and we have come here about 4 or 5 times now in the past 3 months. Not exactly the cleanest inside but that's okay. The food makes up for it all.
