Reviews via GoogleWhat diners say — our read
An A inspection result sits behind a review average of just 2.4. The staff is the sore point: those reviews average 2.5. How long an order takes follows at 21% of reviews, where ratings average 2.0.
The split is 5 positive to 12 negative across 19 rated reviews, with 2 in the middle. More reviewers landed on 1 star than any other score — 10 of 19. What nobody raises here is serving size — it goes unmentioned across all 19 reviews.
The health record runs ahead of the reviews. The last DBPR inspection returned an A (98/100) with 2 basic violations. That result dates from July 21, 2025. Ranked against Orange County, it is safer than 80% of the restaurants we score. What the inspector actually wrote up: food-contact surfaces clean and sanitized and floors, walls, ceilings clean & maintained.
Worth separating: the complaints above cluster on how long an order takes, not on the kitchen, which inspected well. The underlying reviews are reproduced in full underneath.

Anastasia this lady is really rude !! Very disappointing experience. Anastasia was extremely rude and unprofessional from the moment we arrived. She treated us with disrespect, acted like she didn't care about her job, and made us feel completely unwelcome. Customer service is supposed to make people feel valued, but this was the exact opposite. I would not recommend this location as long as this kind of attitude is tolerated. Management should seriously address this issue because it reflects very poorly on the business. We will not be coming back. Olso the service takes long time like more that 1 hours, this service supposed be quick service because is fast food

Se puede ser mas racista y discriminados? A todos ños latinos aquí nos tratan mal y a un grupo de latinos blancos ni nos miran, nos ignoran magistralmente. Ese es wl pan de cada dia en esta tienda.

Over 50 minutes in the name of spicy chicken needs cooked. Ridiculous
-
They close at 12:30 not 1

People who placed orders after me.got their meals before I did. Not to mention I did not receive my sauce for my tenders. Although the staff was polite, customer service needs major improvement. It seems like they lack direction.

WOW watching Terrance work in front of house was mesmerising. He was doing all by himself the same job as about 6 people I swear mcdonalds would have 2 people dispensing drinks 3 people bagging orders 1 or two taking orders. 1 running the drive through orders. 1 taking payment And 1 handing out the orders. Let alone managing the FOH in the restraunt !! He was spot on, he told the orders promptly. Made sure everyone was okay inbetween bagging up orders. Was managing the drive through, mobile orders and. Delivery orders too! And just be before he served us. He spoke in perfect Spanish!! Cuando habla español es muy bueno !! Dude was perfect at his job. Well mannered and gave 10/10 above and beyond customer service I hope he’s being paid at least 3x the standard wage!

Fuimos a cenar. La atención fue muy mala. La comida regular al igual que el aseo del local. No volveremos.

Terrance and the crew at Sand Lake are great. Fast service, and the order was 100% correct!
