Community Rating
Reviews via GoogleWhat diners say — our read
Not every diner trusts the room — though the last inspection found little to support that. The staff tends to be raised approvingly here, averaging 4.2 stars. How clean the place looks is the next most common subject, in 20% of reviews (averaging 3.0).
10 of 15 rated reviews are four stars or higher; 3 are two or lower. More reviewers landed on 5 stars than any other score — 8 of 15. A third strand, whether it is worth the money, appears in 20% of them at 4.0 stars.
That matters because 20% of reviews raise cleanliness and rate it 3.0 on average — a complaint the inspection record does not support, since DBPR graded the kitchen an A (97/100). That result dates from June 18, 2026. On health score it sits safer than 72% of the Orange County restaurants we grade. What the inspector actually wrote up: food-contact surfaces clean and sanitized and plumbing installed & maintained.
This is a listing where the two measures each tell half the story. The reviews themselves follow, unedited and newest first.

What a gorgeous sprawling resort! Would consider this one in my top 10!

Worst hotel stay experience
-
The hotel and room was very nice. However, for this style of luxury hotel, the coffee was cheap and coffee maker in the room was outdated. I did see K Cups in the cleaning cart, but that was definitely not the style of coffee maker in the room. Also, the shampoo, conditioner and body wash installed in the shower seemed cheap. Those are the only suggestions that I could make to make this stay more enjoyable. The front desk staff was amazing and people were very friendly.

Nice pool, good room, amazing view, and good service
-
Room was not properly cleaned prior to check in, hair from the previous guest was left in the bathroom shower. Staff is not very helpful. I had 2 different bellhops offer to help with bags then change their minds because I needed to walk "too far"

A very nice hotel/resort with restaurants, massive conference spaces, and a great staff.

We had a very enjoyable stay and were highly satisfied with everything the hotel had to offer. The accommodations were comfortable and thoughtfully designed, especially since our stay included our baby. We appreciated the range of amenities, including the pools, restaurants, a convenient market, and especially the guest self-service laundry facilities. We would gladly recommend this hotel and look forward to our next stay!

I was here for a conference all week and the staff here was amazing. I grabbed a burger last night and it was huge. Definitely couldn't eat it all. It was well worth the cost

Definitely overpriced and under delivered!! $39 a day… To self park Couple of days ago I stayed there at a convention. All of the convention components were very good. My room was very nice. The bed was good but the bathroom… One of the lights was out over the sink. The water pressure in the sink was simply awful. Probably the worst I’ve ever experienced at any hotel anywhere . It took 2 to 3 minutes, just to stand there and try and rinse toothpaste out of the toothbrush. In the shower, they have pump bottles that I guess the room service fills up. A couple of mine were totally empty. The prices for everything or just sky high. One morning, I went to the lower level by the pool to treat myself to their what we’re supposed to be fabulous breakfast buffet at $30 a person. I sit down on my table. The waiter brings me coffee. I use the creamer at the table it curdles when I put it in the coffee… The way to brings me a fresh coffee and another creamer it curdles again… Finally, the waiter goes to the kitchen gets me a fresh creamer, a lukewarm coffee, and that’s what I had. The coffee wasn’t even hot but finally, the creamer was good. I went to the breakfast buffet. It’s huge but maybe when I got there at 8:30am maybe the food had been sitting under their warming lights way too long. The Biscuits which I love… Were hard dried out and they crumbled when you try to break them apart the breakfast potatoes or like a rock I had two other days there after that and I definitely did not…

I brought my mom to the Rosen Shingle Creek for a belated Mother’s Day spa day and we had an absolutely amazing time! The spa team, Jennifer and Terri, were so helpful in getting us settled for the day and going over everything we were able to enjoy with our day passes - we enjoyed the spa’s amenities before going out to the pool and enjoying lunch while soaking up the sun! Heather, our server, provided excellent poolside service and was such a joy with her contagious laugh and positive energy! We will absolutely be coming back to enjoy another mother/daughter day soon!

Maravillosa estancia en este hotel, el servicio y la atencion es excelente. Las instalaciones son cómodas y limpias. El spa es justo lo que describe una experiencia realmente relajante incluyendo los masajes. Volveré y lo recomiendo realmente

The rooms are out dated. The more important part is that they are clean! The staff was friendly. Many restaurants and a golf course at the hotel. Overall I'd give them a 96%
