Reviews via GoogleWhat diners say — our read
If these 18 reviews agree on a topic, it is front-of-house. The staff tends to be raised approvingly here, averaging 4.8 stars. How clean the place looks is the next most common subject, in 56% of reviews (averaging 4.1).
More reviewers landed on 5 stars than any other score — 11 of 17. 13 of 17 rated reviews are four stars or higher; 1 are two or lower. A third strand, serving size, appears in 33% of them at 4.6 stars.
On the inspection side the picture is cleaner: DBPR graded this kitchen an A (100/100) with no violations cited. Whatever the reviews argue about, sanitation is not the weak point. That result dates from February 25, 2026. That puts it ahead of 100% of graded kitchens in Orange County. The inspector left without citing anything — worth noting, since most visits find something.
With both signals pointing the same way, there is little to argue about on this listing. The underlying reviews are reproduced in full underneath.

Overall, it’s a great hotel. The room was very spacious, clean, and comfortable. The breakfast was great. There’s coffee all day. There’s an inside pool, a gym, and a laundry room. However, our room was all the way at the end of this winding snake shaped wall and it took forever to get to the elevator. Also since the pool was inside, you won’t be able to get any sun.

Rooms are very big and clean. Felt very comfortable. They don’t clean the rooms though, I stayed a week and they only went into the room twice to change the towels. Also the laundry room was so gross, I tried cleaning a machine myself so I could use it, but almost threw up trying, very nasty. Couldn’t use it. But other then that, I liked the location and the room size, big desk for work , good coffee in morning

This is one of the nicest extended-stay hotels I've visited in the Orlando area. The location is excellent, right in downtown Orlando with easy access to restaurants, attractions, and entertainment. The hotel itself is beautifully designed with modern décor, spacious common areas, and well-thought-out room layouts. What really impressed me was how well-equipped the hotel is for longer stays. The kitchens include everything you need, and the hotel even offers an impressive selection of items you can borrow during your stay. Need a Keurig coffee maker, rice cooker, or other kitchen appliance? Just ask—they have far more available than most hotels I've stayed in. The rooms were comfortable, clean, and felt more like a small apartment than a traditional hotel room. Combined with the friendly service and convenient downtown location, this property easily earns five stars from me. Whether you're staying for a weekend or several weeks, I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for comfort, convenience, and excellent amenities in downtown Orlando.

Great rooms , but you can kinda hear the cars on the highway. Also the pool just looks nasty.

The stay at the residence Inn was great. We experience a full kitchen a great work seating area and a separate bed area. I would differently stay at another residence inn in the future.

We had such a nice stay at the Residence Inn. Traveling with twins isn’t always the easiest, but they really made it feel manageable. They got us pack and plays for both babies without any hassle, which honestly made a huge difference for us. The front desk was so helpful the whole time—just really great service all around. And the ladies at breakfast were the sweetest… always kind, always welcoming, and just made our mornings better. It’s little things like that that stick with you. We felt taken care of the entire stay and would definitely come back.

Residence Inn Orlando is a stellar 5-star stay. The property stands out for its cleanliness, newness, helpful staff, central location, and convenient parking availability. Everything feels fresh, well maintained, and thoughtfully run. We stayed in a one-bedroom king suite, which was incredible— on par with a room in a 5-star hotel. The suite was large and spotless, featuring an open kitchen with stools, a full-size refrigerator, stove, microwave, and complete kitchenware. The bed was truly fit for a “king,” extremely comfortable and perfect for a restful night. The bathroom was also very large, clean, and highly functional—almost like a well-designed home bathroom. Breakfast was included in the price, which makes the value even more impressive. The only small caveat is that breakfast ends at 9 a.m., which can feel a bit early for those who prefer a more relaxed morning. What made the experience even more remarkable was the price, which was unbelievably good for the quality offered. If you’re visiting Orlando, don’t hesitate to stay at Residence Inn—you definitely won’t regret it. A well-deserved 5/5 experience.

I used to live nearby downtown when I was younger, so the area is familiar but definitely has changed. I was visiting some friends and had some limited business to attend to so I wanted an accessible location. Living in NYC now, walkablility and public transportation are the forefront of my mind, and Orlando naturally has improvements to be made, but Sunrail and LYNX being so close makes life easy. If you have a car, their parking is very affordable for the area, and the location to drive, especially off peak, is perfect. Outside of transportation, I was immediately welcomed by the staff and provided a nice gift for being a Marriot BonVoy member, provided a perfect room for my stay, and they even checked that my room was acceptable for me (which it was). In my last few stay with Marriot, both domestic in the US and abroad, I cannot recommend their service more, and this location in Orlando is perfect for those who have business or families on a budget with a few nights in Disney and who want to see the real Orlando area!

The hotel is old but not that stinky. Cleanliness average. Extremely loud at night as it's city center. Expect loud furnace, random screams, ambulances, etc. at night. Nothing to do around, it's more like a business center. For more things to do check Disney/sea world areas.

This stay was absolutely the best! Parking was easy and manageable, and the front desk staff and breakfast attendants were all so sweet and welcoming. The location was great as well—everything was convenient and easy to access. I stayed here with my family in a two-bedroom suite, and it was more than enough space. It featured one king bed with its own separate bathroom, and the other room had two queen beds with its own bathroom as well. There was also a pullout sofa, which made it perfect for our stay. I highly recommend this place and truly enjoyed my stay!

Nice hotel and friendly staff. Will try to stay here again.

I spent 3 years here. With my adult son who was in a semiconscious coma. We arrived in 2018 and left in 2021. 3 years to the day. I cannot say how much I appreciated these people during my difficult times. They made me feel like family. Even through the pandemic when they were running on minimal employees the place was great. We had become so close to the place. 2 months after moving out I lost my daughter to covid. Son is still semiconscious 9 years now. Anyway I didnt even have anyone to call. I called the front desk and just cried to one of my favorite employees. The next day the biggest bunch of flowers arrived at our house. Its the people that make a place special. And this place was just that. Heather Albinson

Outstanding! Clean, great facilities, food, location, and front desk personnel were awesome. Traveled for work for 20 years- this is definitely one of the great ones. Nice job.

Front desk staff is excellent.

First off I want to talk about the service. Booked this hotel on Expedia and accidentally booked it for the wrong date. When I showed up, Karen at the front desk did everything she could to accommodate us. She got us a room and reached out to Expedia directly to get them to refund our full amount through them. The hotel is very nice and very clean. The breakfast is delicious with a huge variety. It’s about 10 minute walk to downtown where all the restaurants clubs and Orlando Magic Arena are. I would definitely book again.

We stayed at the hotel for 4 nights. While there were a few positive aspects — the property was generally clean and the location was convenient — our overall experience was unfortunately disappointing and far below expectations. We were provided with a baby cot, but no crib/bed for it. For a hotel of this standard, we assumed that a usable cot would naturally include a crib. When we requested one, we were informed that no support could be provided. As a result, we had no choice but to have our 1-year-old child sleep in our bed for four nights. This was neither safe nor comfortable, and quite frankly, difficult to understand. It is surprising that such a basic and essential request could not be accommodated. Housekeeping was also lacking. Our room was cleaned only once during our stay — and that too only after we specifically asked for it. Regular room service during a multi-night stay should not require special requests. Additionally, the air conditioning fan in the room was extremely loud, making it very difficult to sleep. Disposable slippers were not available in the room, and when we requested them, we were again told that no assistance could be provided. While we appreciate the cleanliness and the convenient location, the lack of responsiveness and the inability to address simple, reasonable requests is not what one would expect. We hope this feedback is taken seriously, as these are not luxury demands but basic hospitality standards. We trust that future guests —…
