The recurring subject in this corpus is tidiness, not the food in general. Reviews mentioning the state of the room average 3.1 stars, so it divides opinion rather than settling it. After that, how guests are treated appears most often — 55% of the corpus, averaging 3.6.
Behind those, serving size is raised in 15% of reviews (2.5 average). 9 of 15 rated reviews are four stars or higher; 4 are two or lower. More reviewers landed on 4 stars than any other score — 5 of 15.
On the inspection side the picture is cleaner: DBPR graded this kitchen an A (97/100), with 1 intermediate violations. Whatever the reviews argue about, sanitation is not the weak point. That result dates from March 18, 2026. Ranked against Orange County, it is safer than 72% of the restaurants we score. What the inspector actually wrote up: handwash sinks accessible.
Worth separating: the complaints above cluster on how long an order takes, not on the kitchen, which inspected well. The underlying reviews are reproduced in full underneath.

Nice clean rooms. Mediocre service.

Hotel was nice. Some furnishings were well worn. Lobby bathroom was on a motion timer which was in a bad spot ( at the door). The toilet fixture was leaking. There were paint flakes in the hallway. The room itself was spacious and well apportioned. The ice maker did not appear to work, and there was no ice machine that I could find on the floor. Parking is 21$ and some change to use the lot per night.

We went to the store to buy steaks to barbecue and went down to cook and the grill was so disgusting! It was dirty, rusty and bugs crawling around. If I had this at my house I would certainly throw it out!! Also the elevator is very slow

I love the Marriott brand and I also work for a travel company. I booked this hotel through my Famtastic benefits. The stay itself was okay. However, the system for the shuttle from the airport to the property need revising. I was traveling with 2 young children. We were made to wait in the Florida heat/humidity for 40+ mins. When the shuttle finally arrived, it appeared that this ONE shuttle services multiple properties in the area. There was a mad rush to get a seat and a family who had JUST arrived jumped in before anyone could get a say. When a guest calls to request shuttle service a list of names should be taken and given to the driver to make sure people are taken in order of arrival. The current system is unacceptable, travel is stressful enough, especially when traveling with young children. We booked this hotel specifically for our needs and the proximity to the airport. We ended up paying for a taxi to get to the hotel. I will never recommend this hotel or the nearby Marriott hotels to family, friends or clients.

Post cruise hotel stay. Great selection, walking distance to cruise terminal and a variety of dining options. The morning breakfast hit the spot., Room was clean and comfortable, check in was great with no hesitation, thank you Ana such great Customer Service I don’t know why I was under the impression that she was the General Manager , she was ready and willing to assist with anything. She was able to answer any questions that I had and she checked us in immediately, but I must say the Customer Service services were got me . Just minutes from airport. Complementary shuttle was beneficial. ||Thank you again for everything!

My wife and I stayed 7/6/18/ to 7/8/18 will be checking out my noon (in hotel as I write this) our 1 year anniversary was yesterday on the 7th. I personally think the place is great. I believe the food is pretty good definitely better than some restaurants I honestly would say. Yes there is not much of a selection but I do not see why people would complain about complimentary food. I know their are hotels that charge 2 and 3 times more a night and offer nothing complimentary. Only complaint I have is Friday night all the handicap parking was taking and only one person had a handicap sticker. My wife has tremendously bad knees, I went to front desk and security nothing was done no tickets written or anything just given an apology. I did not feel this was appropriate but whatever. I would have rated 5 stars if it was not for this incident. The security guard says he deals nothing of parking even if someone is violating a law and causing a big inconvenience for some one else. My wife doesn't like to be without me so we had to park acrossed street at another hotel and walk. The water in the shower could be a little hotter. Other than these things i think the place is great. Comfortable bed, comfy couch, nice little kitchen with a stove, fridge, coffee pot, and dishwasher. Already has a iron and iron board. I especially love how you guys have the spinning TV, can watch on the bed or at the dinner table, or at the couch, with a easy turn or spin. I thought this was especially…

Residence Inn Orlando Airport – Room 603 – Shocking Disregard for Bonvoy Platinum & Brilliant Members|| I am writing this to warn fellow frequent flyers and Bonvoy elites to look elsewhere when booking near MCO. Our recent stay at the Residence Inn Orlando Airport in Room 603 was an absolute disaster, made significantly worse by an astonishing lack of service recovery and outright dismissive management.|My husband and I are loyal Marriott customers. We hold Platinum Elite status and he specifically carry the Amex Marriott Bonvoy Brilliant card to ensure seamless, premium experiences across the portfolio. We understand a Residence Inn isn't the St. Regis, but we do expect baseline brand standards, functional rooms, and proper elite recognition. We received none of the above.|The Room (603):|The stay was a horrible experience from the moment we walked into Room 603. It was hot, the windows were open, it smelled bad, the dishwasher was full of water and had no drainef.. there was black mold on the air vents, a blood looking stain on the sofa.. dirty floors..It was completely unacceptable for a premium loyalty member, let alone any paying guest!|The Service Failure:|When we brought these egregious room issues to the attention of management, we were met with utter indifference. The Assistant General Manager, Michelle Santiago, was off property.. and was completely dismissive of our situation when we wrote her of our concerns.|When we pointed out our Platinum Elite status and…

Don't stay here! It's disgustingly dirty. we stayed on this property 5/16/2026 one night and it was awful to name a few things : During our stay, we were subjected to: Severe Mold/Mildew: Heavy accumulation on the air conditioning vents, which is a health hazard Poor Housekeeping: Unclean tile and wood floors, along with a stained bath mat and a torn towel. Appliance & Furniture Issues: A dishwasher filled with an unidentifiable soapy residue/foam, and damaged furniture. Pest Issues: Insects on the room curtains. the staff promised us a full refund and the manager Ms.Michelle Santiago declined our request and dismissed us then cc'd Elvis Abreu ( I guess her boss) and told us to be on our merry way I have photos but google wont let me upload them.. IF you are looking for a nasty hotel to stay in with nasty management and bed bugs this place is FOR YOU! GOD BLESS

Good value, friendly staff!

Great place to stay before a cruise! Many restaurants and shopping within walking distance. Excellent staff, Anna at the front desk was very helpful in accommodating our needs. Would definitely stay here again!

I just want to focus about the unsafe exercise room they have. You enter in your own risk!!!! So if you go late at night and a weird person attacks you is your fault. I didn’t see a security camera, is in the second floor. The breakfast was really good and Marlene was the best part. She is so gentle and she help me with my juice for my detox

The Residence Inn Orlando Airport is a 5/5 in its hotel class. We needed a place to sleep that could fit three adults and each child for a reasonable rate. We had low expectations due to some of the reviews. We were pleasantly surprised and will stay there again if we have a late-night arrival in Orlando in the future.||Pros: |- Extremely clean two-bedroom suite|- Comfortable bed|- Quiet|- Great breakfast buffet with something for everyone (Oatmeal, fresh fruit, bagels, yogurt, eggs, egg biscuit sandwiches, waffle station, etc).|- Good Coffee |- Wonderful staff at the front desk and in the breakfast area.|- Responsive to requests|- Clean pool and hot tub||Cons:|- Pillows could be a little better|- The smell of perfume in the lobby arrived later in the day. It wasn’t there at our late-night check-in, and we did not smell it in our room. But later in the day, it was noticeable.|- $20 parking for overnight guests. I think parking should be complimentary for overnight guests.

Great place, friendly staff, clean rooms!

-
Convenient to Orlando Airport. Great service, good breakfast. Call front desk to get shuttle.
-
The bathroom was out of shower soap so I had to go to the front desk, half wet, and ask for replacement of the shower soap. Otherwise, everything else was fine. As a Marriott Bonvoy member, I should’ve stayed at a different Marriott property.

My husband and I stayed here 2 nights pre-cruise. The room was large and provided everything we needed. Although the decor could use an update, everything was still in good condition. Breakfast was crowded but had a lot to offer. Staff were all very nice.
-
The rooms are very small and old and not renovated the ac so high the towels are dirty and stained overall it’s not a nice hotel at all the pictures are deceiving don’t book it too expensive for no reason Very dirty carpet and bathroom are so disgusting

It's a good place to stay near the airport . Room clean, we had the king size bed in a separate bedroom with a pullout bed. The pullout bed was not ready for us, even though we asked them to as we were checking in at midnight Our room had a kitchenette area, but we didn't use.(With fridge and microwave and coffee maker) They had makeup remover wipes as toiletries and it was useful. Parking is to be paid using a third party app. Breakfast was good and they even have gluten free options.
