The 4.3-star average is misleading — almost nobody actually rated it that. The state of the room tends to be raised approvingly here, averaging 5.0 stars. How guests are treated is the next most common subject, in 28% of reviews (averaging 4.2).
More reviewers landed on 5 stars than any other score — 12 of 15. A third strand, serving size, appears in 17% of them at 5.0 stars. 12 of 15 rated reviews are four stars or higher; 2 are two or lower.
The health record runs ahead of the reviews. The last DBPR inspection returned an A (99/100) with 1 basic violations. That result dates from May 11, 2026. The trend across inspections is improvement. On health score it sits safer than 87% of the Orange County restaurants we grade. What the inspector actually wrote up: other conditions of sanitary & safe operation.
With both signals pointing the same way, there is little to argue about on this listing. Full reviews follow below in the order they were left.

I’ve been to many Springhill suites before, but this one was different. The location is amazing right across the street from the millennium Mall. I do have to give a shout out to Leonor. She was amazing at the front desk. Our room is clean and spacious. I love the fact that this one has very heavy thick curtains to keep that horrible hotel light out in the morning. I slept like a baby. Thank you so much. We will definitely be back.

Excellent location if visiting Universal. Free breakfast makes it a Great value. Staff was very helpful, especially the breakfast staff! Nice pool with a zero clearance entry.

This bu far one of the best hotels I have experienced. Great facilities, very clean, great customer service, great and delicious breakfast buffet.

Someone hit our car and we/they can’t do anything about it. They have ‘security’ watching over the parking, as well as a gated area where you must use a keycard in order to park. It feels silly to have all these extra amenities for ‘safe parking’ when they do not have any camera or surveillance cameras in any of the parking. Although, they are fully aware how unsafe it may be to park in the area, considering the signs they leave up mentioning how valuables shouldn’t be left in your car. If you know it may be safe, why not put cameras up? They are far more worried about covering their own, rather than taking care of a customer. It was disappointing to be told ‘we will call you today for an update.’ And we never received a call, we had to go to the front desk at 11pm (HOURS later) to see what we could do. Spoiler alert; nothing can be done. Now we have to pay for damages that we had no part in doing. Will not be staying here again :)

I cannot reiterate enough do not stay at this property or the joining property Residence Inn. First and foremost they treat African-American individuals very disrespectful. Also if there's an issue in the room they do not handle the matter appropriately and do not handle complaints well either. I have reached out to the general manager Alex several times he has not returned my email or my phone call. There was a toilet issue and I was left in the room where there was feces and toilet water everywhere. I asked to speak to a manager while I was there none was given and also there's a front desk agent named Tim who is very rude disrespectful and said to me that people like me I guess referring to me being black is always trying to get something for free. So again I heard you please do not stay there. Their Hospitality management company has been notified

Stayed overnight in this SpringHill Suites and was delighted with the experience. Customer service was great and the rooms and new / larger bathrooms was a huge bonus. Only comment I would make to Marriott as a whole is that they should put a door in that huge bathroom that separates the toilet from the rest of the bathroom. It would allow for more than one person to be in the huge bathroom which is important with a 4 or 5 guests in the room. However, I would definitely love to come back to this property. Very close to "all things Disney" and yet off the freeway enough that it doesn't have traffic issues. Well done to the Manager. I scored the service a 4 because the breakfast area was only open until 9:00 am which is unusual. Also, they did not have milk alternatives (almond / oat) which is now standard in 99% of the Marriott properties that serve food.

Great location next to Mall at Millenia (walking distance, start by pool area and walk across the bridge to get to parking lot of the mall). Residence Inn at Marriott shares same building as this hotel. Practically it’s one hotel. |Clean rooms, plenty of space. Pool is large, grilling station present so if you’re in suite, you can do some BBQ by the pool. |Didn’t like that we had to pay for parking. (Everywhere else in Florida we did not pay).

The only reason for the 3 stars is because they now charge for parking and bottled water But good breakfast and location

Love coming here for a quick weekend getaway

Lovely big rooms, there was only two of us but I think a family would also have plenty space. The lounge is partitioned from the bedrooms which I liked and you can rotate the tele for sofa or bed. Microwave and fridge in the room.||The breakfast was ok, definitely not the best I have had in a Marriott hotel. ||Pretty close to universal and a 30 minute drive to Disney

Great hotel. Very clean. I was just sitting in lobby after breakfast was over and everything was cleaned up. The housekeeping manager came over to inspect and showed the ladies how they needed to do better because there were sone crumbs left on a table. That's how this place is maintained! Impeccable! The staff, starting with the breakfast staff are awesome and professional, Jose is the BEST!!! Front desk staff is very professional and efficient. Housekeeping keeps it 💯 % tidy, bathrooms are clean and mold free, rooms have all you need down to cutlery and dishwasher with soap to get them clean. Whenever I come to this part of Florida, this is my home base. I 10000% recommend this hotel.

I’ve been to many hotels in Orlando but this one is by far the the best hotel we’ve stayed in. The rooms and entire hotel was spotless and it smelled very clean. Great breakfast and pool area. Will def be coming back here to stay.

All around nice place to stay, nice bar and grill will make any mix drink you want.
-
Clean, modern, comfortable. Great breakfast. My only complaint is that you must pay extra to park.
