Great hotel!! The room was clean and comfortable. The pool was great! The staff was friendly. The location was perfect!

We paid $45 for valet parking and left our car with our luggage still inside, then went to the parks. Around noon, heavy rain started, so we had to buy ponchos and umbrellas and return to the hotel half-soaked. Our children were wet and needed dry clothes from the car. When we asked valet to bring the car, they told us they would not bring it until the rain stopped. This was extremely frustrating, especially because they were still taking and moving cars for newly arriving guests. So apparently the rain was only a problem when we needed our own car back. Since I had an umbrella, I asked for my car key and had to go get the car myself. To be fair, one staff member kindly walked with me in the rain to show me where the car was parked, and I appreciated that. But the fact remains: after paying for valet, I had to retrieve my own car in the rain because my wet children needed clothes. When I drove back to the hotel entrance, I asked to use one of the empty luggage carts to bring our bags in. They refused. The carts were sitting there unused, but they still would not let me use one. I ended up carrying the bags myself. I travel frequently and have stayed in hotels all over the world, and I have honestly never experienced such a poor front-door and valet system at a hotel of this level. I have also visited Universal in Tokyo before, and the hospitality there was in a completely different league. For a Universal hotel, this was a very disappointing experience. The staff were not…

The Loews Royal Pacific is a beautiful hotel. We will def stay there again. Lovely decor,.clean pretty rooms. The whole family loved it.

I would love to give 5 stars, but the valet did not hand us our car key, nor left it in the car before we left. Luckily, we had a spare, and didn't leave town before we found out it wasn't in the vehicle. Other than the valet service, everything else was spectacular.

This was one of those rooms where you stay once and forget if you're even at your home or not. My kids were totally comfortable and I had a really great and peaceful stay. The atmosphere was calm & soothing. Totally worth it.

Great hotel. Best place to stay when going to IoA or Studios. Very good overall experience. Proximity to the parks is amazing. Walking distance. Water shuttles are amazing bonus. The one drawback is if your planning on going to epic. This is not the place to stay. Less shuttles running. Shared with another hotel that gets picked up first even though Royal Pacific is twice the price. Don’t run frequently enough on return trips at night.

Excellent hotel. Easy access to Universal by water taxi or 15m walk. Easy access to City Walk. Only a few vegetarian options.

Checking in was very smooth and the staff was very friendly. The room was fairly average, but very clean. The hotel is conveniently located to Universal Studios. You can take the water taxi, which docks at the hotel or you can take a walk, which takes about 12 minutes. At the time of our stay, Express Passes were included with the purchase of the admission tickets and hotel stay. The only small hiccup was that when we came back from Universal, we found that our door was left open, from what we assumed was room service. Nothing was missing, thankfully.

A few issues with our room but all were easily addressed.

I thought this was a wonderful hotel. We had a family of six and got the club level suite. Extremely pricey but great service, nice pool and extremely close to universal studios. We did stay on the club level and took advantage of everything it had to offer. The club level lounge had a nice breakfast, snacks for the afternoon and a nice diner eats. Also they had games and coloring pages for the kids. The service was wonderful. Definitely would recommend if you can afford it.

Honestly the resort as a whole was wonderful. However the bar specifically was absolutley perfect. I had a specific flavor on my mind and the staff on hand brought it to life immediately and had fun with it, not just made an order like normal bartenders that puy out "drinks" make, but experimented and made what I feel like is genuinely a perfect drink for the request. These people care about what they make and I in particular appreciate every ounce of effort.

Stayed in a suite….Rooms were spacious enough and always promptly cleaned—didn’t stay in the rooms much but it hit expectations (5 stars IS the expectation) Service (housekeeping, valet, concierge, front desk, pool/grill attendants) was performed amazingly, promptly, and with a friendly/welcoming attitude. Hotel was walking distance from everything—minus Epic. Just a super chill experience with everything you could ask for within walking distance. Just keep in mind that there is premium for the luxury…expenses aren’t quite as insane as Vegas prices but they are pushing that line. As far as tipping, they work hard to make sure your stay is as good as it gets so I didn’t mind whatsoever paying for the phenomenal service. What a stay!
