What diners say — our read

One subject runs through these 21 reviews more than any other: front-of-house. The staff cuts both ways here, averaging 3.5 among the reviews that raise it. What it costs follows at 29% of reviews, where ratings average 2.8.

More reviewers landed on 5 stars than any other score — 10 of 21. Pacing shows up in 29% of reviews as well, averaging 2.5. 10 of 21 rated reviews are four stars or higher; 6 are two or lower.

On the inspection side the picture is cleaner: DBPR graded this kitchen an A (100/100) with no violations cited. Whatever the reviews argue about, sanitation is not the weak point. That result dates from December 3, 2025. The trend across inspections is improvement. That puts it ahead of 100% of graded kitchens in Orange County. No violations were recorded at that visit, which is the cleanest result available.

The honest summary is that the evidence is mixed on both sides. Full reviews follow below in the order they were left.

This was one of the worst restaurant experiences I’ve ever had. The only reason I’m giving one star is because the aquarium view is beautiful. Everything else was completely unacceptable. The service was terrible from beginning to end. Both our server and the manager were extremely rude, aggressive, and raised their voices at us instead of trying to resolve our concerns professionally. No customer should be treated that way, especially when dining with family. I had five children under the age of 9 with me, and the way we were spoken to was completely inappropriate. On top of that, it took over an hour just to pay our bill, which only added to the frustration. I will be returning to speak with someone higher up because this experience was unacceptable. I hope to speak with Guest Relations or another manager who can properly address what happened. A restaurant with such an amazing atmosphere deserves staff who treat guests with respect. Unfortunately, that was not our experience at all. The short hair black woman with dreads

    Enjoyed viewing the sharks

  • June 27, 2026

This is a place definitely for the view and not the food.

  • June 25, 2026

    terrible service, and attitude

Good food, good beer and great service!

Food and drinks were absolutely delicious. I highly recommend the chicken quesidilla and wings. They have a nice beer and wine selection as well as a full bar. Restrooms were clean and well stocked. Had seating for 2 immediately. Our server Gustavo was great. He was prompt and funny and friendly. The best part was the aquarium viewing all around us.

Misleading label as "allergen friendly". We made a dinner reservation for Sharks Underwater Grill on Saturday, June 13th, because it was highlighted as SeaWorld Orlando's "Designated Allergen Friendly Location." Because of this designation, we thought it would be a safer option than leaving the park early to find food nearby. When we checked in, we asked to speak to the supervisor to discuss my daughter's allergies. We were told to mention this to the waiter. When we met our waiter, he said speaking with the supervisor was not necessary, that he would speak to the chef. We are vegetarian, and nothing on the menu had any sort of labels for allergens or meat, like I would expect in an "allergen-friendly" facility. Once we placed our orders, it took over 30 minutes for the waiter to even clarify if our choices contained the allergens, and ultimately, between avoiding meat, sesame, and tree nuts, the only options available to us and our daughter were salad and french fries. None of the other dishes were customizable to exclude the allergens, and the majority of the food was not prepared in house, as again, I would expect for an "allergen-friendly" facility. It took over an hour to receive our food. We then tried to order dessert, but the chef could not even clarify what dessert might be safe (aside from a bowel of fruit), because things were not made in house. Any true allergen-friendly facility would maintain ingredient lists for all menu items. We will not be dining at this…

Awesome service Awesome food Awesome venue! Worth the experience not just once but make it a event.

The view of the sharks is great, the price of the food is ridiculous. The quality of the food is ok. 2 drinks a glass of water, 2 appetizers and fries was $100. A burger alone is $42 , I've been to restaurants with way better food at cheaper prices. Won't be back

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Incredible view, great service, and unique atmosphere! It's a theme park restaurant, so you should expect theme park pricing, but it is absolutely worth it for the experience. We went at an off-time, which made the whole meal incredibly quiet and relaxing. Plus, the service was really good throughout our visit. The real selling point here is the incredible atmosphere—eating right next to the shark tanks provides an awesome view. As for the food, the filet mignon was actually really decent. My lunch companion’s chicken was just a bit tough on the edges, but the middle was good and it had a decent flavor. Overall, you are paying for the unique location, but between the sharks, the relaxing vibe, and a great steak, we had an excellent time. Would definitely go back!

VERY overpriced for the quality of food. I would put it on par with a basic Dennys lunch. We had a group of 8, 2 of which were kids. The server basically forgot they existed. Didn't bring them waters until reminded twice, must not have put in their food because all the adult plates came out and were finished before the kids' food arrived. French fries were cold, the burger was overcooked too the point of being burnt and chewy, and because of the group size, the $300 bill included a $45 tip that the server severely did not earn. Simply do not eat here. Eat elsewhere in the park or bring a lunch. Insanely overpriced terrible experience.

Pretty nice and chill Place to eat at. Our server was great and no issues. Limited menu and in my opinion over priced. There was 6 of us and the bill was about $250 dollars.

The atmosphere is pretty awesome, but that's literally it

Fun aquarium restaurant, great service and food was delightful. No photos because we were so hungry we did not tale photos. My baby boy had chicken fingers and masjed potatoes which he enjoyed. My husband had the chicken tacos and i jad the garlic rotisserie chicken with mashed potatoes and vegetables. My little boy loves baby shark and was mesmerized by the real sharks and fishes! The look on his face just made my day. Will definitely be back!

Food was great! Shrimp for me was a little under performance, but the seared garlic chicken, angus beef sliders were phenomenal. Clifton my party’s waiter was extremely professional and gave great service! Will be coming again!

  • May 26, 2026

Way over priced for what it is Slow bad service, food was bland and basic but super expensive Not a fine dining experience at all, don’t waste your money or time

  • May 25, 2026

Overhyped and overpriced.. definitely paying for the location. Only ordered a “margarita flatbread with fresh basil”… these are microgreens. This “flatbread” could easily be served as a kids cheese pizza and we would be none the wiser. A basic burger is $43, as well. The entire lunch took almost 1.5 hours from the time we sat down…

Cool place but the hostess needs some happy training. We had a reservation on Monday for 2pm. We showed up 15 minutes early and she was pretty rude about it. She said you’re very early you’ll need to come back later. So we feed the rays in the pool by the restaurant. I went back at 1:59 to check in then we were asked to go inside and sit in the waiting room. The place was not busy at all. We were taken to our table right by the tank. Our waiter was great. The aquarium outside glass was covered in handprints but that’s to be expected when little kids go there to eat. The men’s room was absolutely disgusting. I held my breath due to the overwhelming stitch. It was pretty dirty. I used a paper towel to open the door - that’s how dirty it was. The hostess is my biggest issue. She spoke so rudely to us for being early. I would call her out but she was the only one not wearing a name badge. The food was just okay. Not great!

I was surprised by the quality of food and service. The experience of eating with the sharks is pretty awesome too. Update: we have eaten here multiple times while at the park and if anything the experience has gotten better.
