SHARON'S HOMESTYLE COOKIN
SHARON'S HOMESTYLE COOKIN is a 4.6-star room with an F-grade kitchen — the kind of gap a star rating will never warn you about, which is the whole reason this page exists.
That F comes from 9 high-priority, 1 intermediate, and 10 basic violations cited on May 5, 2026. It currently ranks near the bottom of Orange County on health score. And the direction isn't reassuring: its recent inspections have been sliding, not recovering. If you want the flavor with fewer question marks, the safer-options list below maps higher-graded kitchens within a short drive.

Reviews via GoogleWhat diners say — our read
Diners rate this place well. The inspector did not. How guests are treated tends to be raised approvingly here, averaging 4.4 stars.
5 stars is the modal score, given by 16 of the 23 reviewers who rated. The split is 20 positive to 1 negative across 23 rated reviews, with 2 in the middle.
Set against that, the state's own inspection graded the kitchen an F (5/100), with 9 high-priority, 1 intermediate, and 10 basic violations recorded. Reviews describe the meal; the grade describes the conditions it was made in. That inspection was on May 5, 2026. The trend across inspections is decline. That puts it ahead of 0% of graded kitchens in Orange County. Among the items recorded were food from approved source and cross-contamination.
The practical read: people enjoy eating here, and the kitchen still failed its last inspection. Those are separate claims, and only the second one gets checked by anybody. Everything above is computed from the 23 reviews reproduced below.

When in Orlando, this is a must-stop. About a 15-minute drive from both the airport and the OCCC/I-Drive area and worth it. No waiting for brunch on Saturday morning, seat yourself, appeared to be mostly locals. The country fried steak is one of the best I’ve ever had. My daughter ate three giant pancakes so they must have been good. Also recommend biscuits, and gravy. Friendly, prompt service.

REALLY good food, very reasonable pricing. Family owned and super friendly staff. LOVED this find :)

Everything was watered down as far as drinks went. The server which was the owners granddaughter wasnt very attentive and lacked hospitality.maybe we caught her on a bad day but she didn't check on us, everything we needed we had to hunt her down and ask. No empathy for the bad service nor for the bad food so it was a 60$ waste for two people

Great food, local eatery. Friendly. We like to eat breakfast here.

First time visiting. Wanted to check out local spots and I am a big breakfast fan. Food was good! The sausage links and patties were my favorite. Eggs were good. Pancakes and biscuit weren't too bad. The biscuit was too doughy(good flavor) and the pancakes didn't have any special taste. They were just basic pancakes but still good.

My parents have been eating here for years. I joined them last weekend and the food and service were great. I loved the grits!

Not sure what Sharon has against potato’s but they always seem burnt. Have been coming here past 5 years and they are always inedible. Friendly staff and the rest of the food is always good. Just stay away from French fries and hash browns.

We're from out of town and always try to find local places to support. We're really glad we found Sharon's! Had an absolutely delicious breakfast of omelet, hash browns and biscuit. We highly recommend this place! Food, service and atmosphere were all 5 star.

Stopped in for lunch with my wife after work. We ordered a cheeseburger & a grilled chicken Cesar salad. Food was amazing, service was great! Location is clean & friendly. We both have grown up eating at Sharon's and love to support another local, small business.

Customer service was amazing.

Stopped in for breakfast as we were driving by and were pleasantly suprised by this place. The pancakes were huge and fluffy. The biscuits are definitely made in house and are hot and fresh and soft. The breakfast potatos were seasoned nicely. And the cheesesteak was also good but needed just a little more seasoning. Our waitress was incredibly friendly too.

If you like diner food this is an excellent place to visit. The food is delicious and the service is friendly and attentive.
-
Food was good prices are good. Just definitely odd employees they stared at us from the kitchen like we’re putting on a comedy show. If you’re sensitive to smoke I wouldn’t recommend one of the employees constantly back and forth smoking which did cause it to seep inside

This is Feb 13, 2026 Just discovered this place... All I can say is amazing! I really don't like fancy breakfast dinner places that go overboard with their breakfast menu and over charge you. This breakfast diner strays away from that and stays classic good home meal style cooking. Made my day to realize places like this still exist and America we know it still holds on to its hardworking values. Thank you again Sharon and family keep up the amazing work!

Tried it for the first time and I’m already planning to go back soon! The blueberry pancakes were PERFECT! I also shared some French toast with my friend and that was good too. The corned beef hash was on point and not too salty. Our server was patient, polite, and kept our drinks full. No wait time and the prices were reasonable. If you’re in the area, definitely go there for breakfast! Thank me later.

I like their Ham & Cheese omelette with Home fries.

Service was excellent, the food was average, the prices were reasonable and the coffee was good. Because of the food, I would not be in a hurry to come back again.
