TEXAS DE BRAZIL

TEXAS DE BRAZIL is the easy recommendation: an A health grade at 99/100 and 4.6 stars from 9,006 diners. A clean kitchen and a room that loves it don't always line up — here they do.

Its latest inspection on May 7, 2026 cited only 1 basic violation. That puts it safer than 87% of Orange County restaurants we grade — near the top of the county. Menus here flag gluten-free, dairy-free, keto, paleo, and other dietary options.

What diners say — our read

People either love this place or they do not, and the ratings show it. Opinion on service is split — those reviews land at 3.6 on average. After that, pacing appears most often — 22% of the corpus, averaging 1.5.

Older reviews score better than newer ones (4.0 recent against 4.5 earlier), so direction is worth weighing alongside the average. If you had to pick one number to represent this corpus it would be 5, the most frequently given rating (11 reviews). A third strand, what it costs, appears in 17% of them at 2.3 stars.

On the inspection side the picture is cleaner: DBPR graded this kitchen an A (99/100), with 1 basic violations. Whatever the reviews argue about, sanitation is not the weak point. DBPR last walked in on May 7, 2026. The trend across inspections is decline. Ranked against Orange County, it is safer than 87% of the restaurants we score. The citations behind that grade include insects/rodents/pests.

Nothing here pulls in opposite directions — an unusually clean read. Read the originals below and judge the pattern yourself.

We had an excellent dining experience at Texas de Brazil thanks to our server Dairon They were friendly, attentive, and made sure our drinks stayed full and that we had everything we needed throughout the meal. They explained how the dining experience worked, checked on us regularly without being intrusive, and made us feel genuinely welcome. Their professionalism and positive attitude made our visit even more enjoyable. We truly appreciate the outstanding service and look forward to coming back!

Food was great, service was good, definitely on the pricier side, but worth it

All the food you can eat. Endless meat served: Pork, chicken, beef. Some of the fillet was tuff, but everything else was tender and flavorful.

    Amazing service and food

I took my fiancé to Texas de Brazil for Father’s Day, and unfortunately this was one of the most disappointing experiences we’ve had there. We had a 7:00 PM reservation and, after being seated, there was some difficulty finding a high chair for our baby. While that issue was eventually resolved, the biggest problem was the service from the servers walking around with the meat. The entire purpose of dining at a Brazilian steakhouse is to enjoy a continuous variety of meat selections brought directly to your table. Throughout our meal, very few cuts of meat were offered, and we spent much of our time waiting. When we requested medium to medium-well cuts, the meat we received was either extremely overcooked or so rare it was practically still mooing. Our waitress was wonderful and attentive, and this review is not directed at her in any way. She did her best and provided excellent service. The issue was clearly with the overall operation and execution during a busy holiday evening. For a bill of nearly $160, we expected the experience and quality that Texas de Brazil is known for. While we were sent home with two complimentary desserts, that did not make up for the lack of service and value during the meal itself. We have enjoyed dining here in the past, which makes this experience even more disappointing. Management needs to do a better job staffing and maintaining service standards during peak times. Paying customers should receive the same quality experience regardless of…

I’ve been coming to Texas de Brazil for years, which is why this experience was so frustrating. We went for Father’s Day and had a reservation. After we were seated, we barely received any steak at all. The few pieces we did get were either completely raw in the middle or overcooked, even though I specifically asked for medium-well. Most of the meat that came to our table was tough and chewy. What made it even more disappointing was that we spent most of the meal eating rice, beans, and scalloped potatoes because there simply wasn’t enough meat coming around. We kept waiting for different cuts to be brought to our table, but it felt like we were constantly being skipped over. That’s not why people go to a Brazilian steakhouse. I mentioned it to our server, and to be clear, this wasn’t her fault. She was very nice and tried to make things right by bringing us two complimentary desserts, which I appreciated. But the desserts didn’t change the fact that the main reason we came was for the steak, and that part of the experience was a huge letdown. I’ve always had good experiences here in the past, but this visit was unacceptable, especially for Father’s Day. If this had been my first time dining here, I probably wouldn’t come back.

Very disappointing experience tonight. We made a reservation for 8:45 PM, which was one of the latest available reservation times, but unfortunately the service did not match the price or reputation of the restaurant. Throughout our meal, the meat service was extremely slow. Many cuts rarely came around, and several servers repeatedly skipped our table while serving others nearby. To make matters worse, it felt like the kitchen began shutting down while we were still dining. We had barely received any meaningful food service before items seemed to stop coming out altogether. For a restaurant where the dining experience revolves around continuous tableside service, this was very frustrating. The drinks were also disappointing. My piña colada tasted watered down and lacked flavor, and my son’s mango juice tasted equally diluted. Our server was polite, so this review is not directed at him, However, the overall experience was far below expectations, especially considering the cost of dining here. We left feeling like we paid full price for a partial experience. Unfortunately, we would not return based on this visit.

So, it was 3 of us we just got out the parks so we were dressed in our park clothes. We were hungry wanted something fast, so texas and brazil it was....So the staff were welcoming to some guest and not as much to others .. they sat us all the way in the back... whatever... our waiter.. was a smart ass.. the ppl who brought the meat with the exception of one would offer us meat.. he had to go the other guy and tell him to come to our table, even though they served the other around us. If they had a problem with our attire they should have said gave let us pay for a service we did not receive. I was so mad i only left like a 10% tip.. and because of that one nice guy. Food was ok.. but idk why have a texas n brazil in a outlet plaza near a park if u dont want normal ppl to go.

We had an amazing experience! Our waitress Rachel was WONDERFUL!! She provided amazing recommendations, such as the Caipirinha (signature cocktail we had the passion fruit) and the Licor 43 (which we enjoyed with espresso). Everything was delicious we will definitely be returning. A big THANKYOU to Rachel and the rest of the team for providing us a great experience! ❤️
