Community Rating
Reviews via GoogleWhat diners say — our read
Recent visits are landing softer than earlier ones did. Reviewers who mention front-of-house rate this place 4.6 on average — it is working in the restaurant’s favour. After that, cleanliness appears most often — 32% of the corpus, averaging 5.0.
18 of 21 rated reviews are four stars or higher; 3 are two or lower. A third strand, how much food arrives, appears in 27% of them at 4.8 stars. The single most common rating left here is 5 stars (15 of 21).
On the inspection side the picture is cleaner: DBPR graded this kitchen an A (90/100), with 1 high-priority and 2 basic violations. Whatever the reviews argue about, sanitation is not the weak point. The visit behind that grade was April 20, 2026. That puts it ahead of 42% of graded kitchens in Orange County. For specifics, the last inspection cited in-use food dispensing utensils properly stored and single-service and single-use items.
With both signals pointing the same way, there is little to argue about on this listing. The underlying reviews are reproduced in full underneath.

Our company recently hosted an Orlando regional meeting at this hotel, and the feedback from our team was overwhelmingly positive. Richard was fantastic to work with throughout the planning process, helping coordinate details in advance and ensuring everything was set up for a successful event. Although I wasn't able to attend in person, several coworkers commented on how impressed they were with both the hotel and the level of service they received. I'd definitely recommend this hotel for work meetings and events. Thank you Richard and the team for helping make it a great experience!

Helpful staff, clean environment. The breakfast was good with plenty of variety. I like they had coffee and tea available 24/7. It is within 1/2 mi walk of the orange county convention center.

Great Customer Service, great location. Nice room.

Sky made the stay wonderful and a lot easier checking in. Always had a big smile ready to be joking early in the morning😂 but it was great

El desayuno es muy malo, el bano de la habitacion no funcionaba, no hicieron service room y cobran $21 de parking.

I didn't care for parking being having to pay for later when it was so hidden in the website when ordering this hotel room in the first place. It's crazy that to pay at a hotel to park when you're already paying to stay there at all. And it's not like it's a all hotels of this brand because true by Hilton and lake City does not pay for parking. And when I mentioned that when we first got here on Friday the guy who checked me in rolled his eyes at me like it was his big inconvenience. Also our mini fridge didn't work and any food we brought with us got ruined.

Sky is amazing! She accommodated all needs! I would've give her a ten if I could!!

Just a basic hotel room. A bit on the small side but it was clean and VERY quiet. Never heard any noise from outside room. Breakfast was good and plentiful. Very close to the Orange County Convention Center. It's about a 10 minute walk. Only drawback is the charge to park your car at the hotel. $21.00 plus tax per day seemed very steep!

We recently stayed at the Hilton Orlando Orange County Convention Center and had a very positive experience. The staff was exceptionally friendly, professional, and helpful throughout my stay, always willing to assist with any questions or requests. While the room was a bit on the smaller side, it was spotless, comfortable, and well-maintained. The hotel's amenities are outstanding and provide plenty of opportunities to relax and unwind. I especially enjoyed the excellent breakfast bar, and the beautiful outdoor pool and pool deck area, which were perfect for spending some downtime. Overall, this is a well-run hotel with excellent service, great amenities, and a convenient location.

Sky helped me out with a cancellation this morning and was awesome! Super friendly and helpful. I am looking forward to visiting the property at another time!

Nice facility, nice rooms. But their breakfast gave me food poisoning and they lost packages that I needed for a trade show.

Stayed for a convention and the location was perfect. No issues with checkin/the room/receiving packages. Huge shoutout to Sky, Richard and Isaac - They were very helpful with our group and were truly the best!! xx

Room was tiny and did not have a real closet. The staff members were all friendly and accommodating and breakfast was good. The distance to the Convention Center was ok.

Spent five nights here as a conference exhibitor and attendee at the OCCC. I have had the good fortune to stay in many hotels, different brands, and this one was really really good. Good breakfast, convenient to the convention center. If you're a decent Walker. Lots of Ubers available too. What struck me more than anything else though was that the staff seem to enjoy working. There, seem to like one another, and seem to enjoy helping the guests. That's more and more rare these days. Case in point: sky, who helped me when I was checking out, was both kind and authentic. Thanks so much to her and the entire team. I recommend this place very strongly.

I had to take a moment to give my honest experience after spending 5 nights at this hotel while in town for a conference at the nearby convention center! It is clean, friendly, fun with great amenities (oh how I wish I knew how to shoot pool at their pool table in the lobby!). I was working all day every day at the conference so I didn't have a chance to relax by the pool but I enviously looked out there each morning before I left and every afternoon as I returned. The younger folks who stayed at the Tru, who brought their walking shoes, chose to walk to the convention center but I chose ride share. Can I just say, the ride share drivers who service this area were among some of the nicest and most polite I have encountered anywhere! If you are coming to Orlando, I highly recommend this hotel! And even if you will be working at the convention center most of the time, you will be happy with the quality bedrooms when you return to your "home away from home" (excellent bed + bathroom linens, QUIET rooms + the best hotel provided shampoo, conditioner, hand lotion)! Wishing you the same superb experience I had during my stay🤗

This hotel is a solid option for a quick, budget-friendly stay, but it definitely has some tradeoffs. My partner and I stayed here for one night during a longer Orlando resort trip, and overall it served its purpose well enough. The rooms are a bit tight, but they have the basic amenities you’d expect for a short stay. The biggest downside was the AC units. In our first room, the AC was extremely loud, to the point where it made sleeping difficult. The staff had no issue moving us to another room, which we appreciated, but unfortunately the AC in the second room was just as loud. If you’re a light sleeper, bring earplugs or consider another hotel. Outside of that, the experience was positive. The lobby has a fun atmosphere with a pool table, and the breakfast was surprisingly decent for this type of hotel. We especially liked the pancake machine. For a cheap overnight stay where you’re mostly just using the hotel as a place to sleep, you could definitely do a lot worse. I wouldn’t go out of my way to recommend it over comparable nearby hotels, but if you’re a Hilton member and getting a good rate, it’s a perfectly acceptable option.

I was tasked with reserving our team's hotel rooms at Tru by Hilton Orlando Convention Center Area. I spoke with Sky when I had to make a change on a reservation. She was so friendly and highly efficient. Due to having to to make several more changes of dates and names of people in the rooms over the last few weeks, I have spoken several times to Sky. She never made me feel badly for needing to make changes. Her service was 5 stars!

I wish I had more time to stay. Minutes from sea world, icon park, Disney springs, the convention center and many other attractions! The staff here was extremely friendly (even with my Thursday evening booking that lead to Friday morning 3am check in! The pool was clean, the breakfast was 7/10 (not gonna blow you a way but you wont leave hungry). Lobby was clean and had plenty to do with a game drawer, pool table and fooseball. Perfect stay for the money.
