Reviews via GoogleWhat diners say — our read
Complaints here are real, but they are mostly not about the kitchen. How guests are treated is the sore point: those reviews average 2.0. Speed of service is the next most common subject, in 26% of reviews (averaging 2.2).
Behind those, freshness and temperature is raised in 16% of reviews (1.7 average). These reviews span Oct 2025 to Jun 2026, so they cover more than one stretch of this kitchen’s history. The split is 6 positive to 10 negative across 19 rated reviews, with 3 in the middle.
Against that, the kitchen inspects well — an A (92/100), 1 high-priority violations at the most recent DBPR visit. That inspection was on March 10, 2026. Across its inspection history the kitchen is improving, which argues for giving it the benefit of the doubt. On health score it sits safer than 49% of the Orange County restaurants we grade. Among the items recorded were insects/rodents/pests.
Worth separating: the complaints above cluster on whether food comes out hot, not on the kitchen, which inspected well. Everything above is computed from the 19 reviews reproduced below.

I dont know what happened but it seems like this restaurant wants to step over dollars to pick up dimes. They give you a medium fry in a large box. This is not the only place.

It took 10 minutes to get from the order kiosk to pay window and my order was not ready. I waited an additional 5 minutes in the designated parking space until I got my food. My burger (Dave's single) was over cooked, not particularly warm and had no lettuce. The fries weren't hot and fresh but they weren't cold and limp either. The drink was fine as was the frosty (oreo/brownie). The nicest part of the whole experience was the AI order taker.

Orders have always been 100% at this location; both inside and in drive thru. Food always the same great taste. Personnel are almost always revolving, so I dont want to rate their performance. But, inside staff are generally accommodating. Only thing that's a pain is that their restrooms are locked and u must ask for a key. This is a growing trend, esp on e colonial stores. My guess is that they are dealing w ppl who misuse the facilities and may not even be customers. Its still a pain for well meaning, paying customers. Wendys on alafaya and Mitchell hammock never had restrooms locked.

Dine in available as well as drive thru....Apple pecan salad excellent....sauces limited to one and don't have plastic knives. Always sub fries for baked potato unless you must have fries.....more filling than fries

This Wendys used to be my go to, but for a little whild now its seemed that the service has quietly gotten worse. They will absolutely never answer the phone, so if you have a question, you will have to go in person. I hope they can bounce back from this.

They will forget your burger, 👎

RUDE staff. Manager doesn’t seem to give a crap based off her deplorable attitude. They’re out of EVERYTHING. And what they did have they forgot to put in the bag. Was charged for cheese and never received it. Sad to see such a new store going down hill so fast.

I was forced to wait over 15 minutes for an order that they were not helping me with. The manager kept walking by and not helping me. The server Mikayla was awfully rude and didn’t even acknowledge or answer my question for help with my order. Awful awful experience

The AI voice machine here never works or takes your order right... i just said "8.00 biggie bag" Go up to the window cashier charged me 7 something in change wasnt paying attention it dawned on me as i drove away i was charged the wrong order and given the wrong order sick of that AI crap machine.

For some reason they keep jot putting ketchup and mayo on my burger when its supoosed to have some. You ask to have it on instead they throw ketchup in the bag. This has now happened 3 times in a row and when u try to call an confirm your order they dont answer. I dont like dry burgers. Make it correctly

I like going to Wendys fast-food because i love their apps to earned rewards points and accumulated to get a free food. Also the Biggie bag is a good price especially when your on the budget.
-
The burger was not evenly stacked… no big deal, but I had to take it apart and redo.
-
I ordered 2 $8 meals, they were out of fries, and those burgers DEFINITELY had been made for hours, the buns were hard and the ingredients were disgusting. It's sad the quality of fast food that once was so delicious is now NO GOOD.

I ordered a vanilla cold brew, homey buddy chicken and and egg n cheese biscuit at 9:24 AM on Nov 9 2025 and had severe food poisoning 5 hrs later. I didn’t eat before or after. It was so bad I started convulsing and only gotten better after emptying out 7 times. For the love of God, do not touch this place.
