Reviews via GoogleWhat diners say — our read
Whatever the overall score says, the last stretch of reviews is the weaker one. Where front-of-house comes up, the rating that follows averages 4.1, so it reads as a strength.
Behind those, speed of service is raised in 16% of reviews (1.7 average). The single most common rating left here is 5 stars (13 of 19). The split is 15 positive to 4 negative across 19 rated reviews.
The health record runs ahead of the reviews. The last DBPR inspection returned an A (98/100) with 2 basic violations. The visit behind that grade was May 19, 2026. That puts it ahead of 85% of graded kitchens in Volusia County. For specifics, the last inspection cited wiping cloths and food-contact surfaces clean and sanitized.
With both signals pointing the same way, there is little to argue about on this listing. The underlying reviews are reproduced in full underneath.

It truly makes me sad to leave this review. I have been eating here for years and used to love the food. For the past several months , every time I have eaten there , the food has just plain been lousy. Their portions have shrunk, and their prices have gone up.But so has every other restaurant in the area. It's the quality of the food that has gone down. I usually get a greek omelette and potatoes and toast. The past few times the omelette has left much to be desired. There was maybe a teaspoon of feta cheese in the omelet and maybe four leaves of spinach. This is not just a one-off.It seems to be the past three or four times. And the potatoes used to be sauteed with onions , and now they just throw them in the deep fryer and on the plate. And if you go for the grits , instead , it's like wallpaper paste but dry 😆. I don't know whether there has been a change in ownership or maybe the cooks are just burned out.But I am super sad that the quality of the food here has gone down. And even though this is petty , i'm going to mention it. Our check was $37.27... I made the mistake of paying with cash and when she brought the change back , she gave me change as if the check were $38.00. Not a big deal.It was just a dollar less that I left in the tip. I waited tables for many, many years. And when giving change , you always give extra not less. Sorry but not sorry for the rant!

This happened 10 minutes ago .Hostess seated me then just sat there for 15 minutes no order taken nothing not even a glass of water. Not looking for response from manager just letting people know….

Beautiful Cafe with nice atmosphere. Service was fast and good. (Don't ask recommendations) One plate came out very spicy and home fries so over cooked (Potato chips). The Fench Dip so old and dry even the au just couldn't help.

Andrew who normally works behind the counter by the kitchen is the best employee there. He's the most considerate and polite employee I've ever had an encounter with there.

Love this place

My husband and I come into Peach Valley once in a blue moon and this past Sunday we had Meagan as our server. This was one of the best dining experiences I have ever had. Meagan was sure to answer all my questions throughly and explain a few menu items to me. She made our experience at Peach Valley! Will definitely be back soon asking for her! Shrimp and grits were a 10/10

Food was absolutely amazing, our server (Denise) was so kind to us and always had a smile on her face. They do military discount here as well. We will absolutely come back to this place when we are in town! ☺️✨

Very good food and great staff. Wish they had put more gravy on the biscuits though...

Got there at 2p. Not crowded and pleasant service and food experience. Last review was 6 years ago and everything was still 5 Star!!

This is one of my favorite restaurants—the food is consistently amazing and I’ve always had great experiences. However, during my most recent visit sitting at the counter bar, I observed a kitchen staff member wearing all black might be kitchen manger which makes it worst if he is should be leading by example. He was handling food with bare hands and repeatedly wiping his hands on the side of his pants in between. Also grabbing a french fry or something to eat with his same hands that he’s putting in his mouth, wiping on the side of his pants and then picking up customers food. While I understand glove use isn’t always required, this felt unsanitary and raised concerns for me. I’m sharing this because I truly enjoy this place and hope they reinforce stronger hygiene practices in the kitchen.

I was served a burger that was completely raw—cold, inedible, and absolutely revolting. This isn’t a minor mistake; it’s a basic failure in food safety. To make matters worse, our server, Lisa, was dismissive, unprofessional, and couldn’t have cared less about the situation. When Mark—who appeared to be a manager—finally approached the table, there was no apology, no accountability, just a weak excuse claiming I was given the wrong order. That’s not a solution, it’s a deflection. This entire experience was unacceptable from start to finish. The lack of concern, professionalism, and basic standards is shocking. I strongly recommend taking your business somewhere that actually respects its customers and knows how to serve food properly.
