What diners say — our read

Little tension on this listing: diners rate it well and the kitchen graded well. Reviewers who mention how guests are treated rate this place 4.4 on average — it is working in the restaurant’s favour. How food arrives follows at 33% of reviews, where ratings average 4.8.

The split is 16 positive to 0 negative across 18 rated reviews, with 2 in the middle. A third strand, wait times, appears in 17% of them at 5.0 stars. 5 stars is the modal score, given by 15 of the 18 reviewers who rated.

Against that, the kitchen inspects well — an A (95/100), 1 intermediate and 2 basic violations at the most recent DBPR visit. That inspection was on January 26, 2026. Across its inspection history the kitchen is improving, which argues for giving it the benefit of the doubt. On health score it sits safer than 63% of the Seminole County restaurants we grade. Among the items recorded were storage & handling of clean equipment and utensils and floors, walls, ceilings clean & maintained.

Both measures agree, which is the least complicated version of this page. The individual reviews are below, newest first, if you want the raw material.

I was sitting in my hotel room trying to figure out what I wanted for breakfast via Doordash. I happened to stumble upon Maple Street Biscuit Company. I'll admit what sold me on ordering from there was how delicious the plate looked in the pictures and that it was featured on the Food Network. I am so happy to say that the food was absolutely incredible! I ate the Squawking Goat biscuit sandwich and side of smashbrowns. The goat cheese and pepper jelly combo with succulent chicken and an over medium egg was so delicious. It became a sloppy mess of a flavor bomb sandwich; thank God I was alone so no one saw me eat like a hogbeast, lol! The smashbrowns were crunchy, hot and just so damn good! I called immediately after eating to thank them and praise their delicious food. I spoke to the manager , Larry. He was awesome and you could tell he was delighted to hear how happy the food made me. Thank you all so much for such an amazing first time enjoying your food! HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!!

Food was good, bad vibes from employees. The staff was kinda rude and didn't seem to care if we spent our money there or not. I really did enjoy the food, however I will not go back because of how unfriendly and how unwelcome we felt.

The biscuits were solid and delicious, at first they might look deceivingly small but, as you work your way through them, they’re pretty tasty and satisfying, the staff were very friendly as well, the atmosphere is not particularly outstanding but it’s cozy.

Bring your hardy appetite when you eat at this restaurant. Busy for a reason and worth the wait! The food is a delicious anchor in your belly. You eat here for breakfast or brunch and should be good for the day. Delicious food and fresh squeezed orange juice=winning!!! Another breakfast gem to add to the list.

Friendly staff, clean restaurant, and the best coffee in town!

  • May 3, 2026

Really good biscuits! Sausage was a bit dry and thin on breakfast sandwich aside from that really great quality food and drinks! Loved the fresh orange juice. My boyfriend loved the coffee

I am a biscuit LOVER. It is my favorite thing to eat. I had the 5 and DIME (w/o) gravy. It was AMAZING. The chicken was big cooked well and juicy. Bacon was a little over cooked but the egg was just how I asked for it. The bonuts were so good and the berry icing I could swim in. If I had to be picky I would say I don't like the cups for the coffee are thin and it gets cold fast and no napkins on the table.

Food was fantastic! I got the grits bowl and enjoyed it greatly! The grits where creamy, no lumps!! I added gravy instead of hot sauce and was flavorful, not cooked milked flour. The Bonuts are so tasty and not overly sweet and the berry icing is the perfect dipper. I will be coming back!

Great good. Would definitely go again.

I finally got to eat here and it was definitely worth the wait. It was my first time here and rather than me picking out menu items for myself, I decided to order the cashiers (Emma) favorite biscuit and cold beverage. No regrets there, Emma has excellent taste and I enjoyed my lunch to fullest. The atmosphere of Maple Street Biscuit Company was also very appealing and with indoor and outdoor seating you can’t go wrong.

Saw this place on a tv food show. Was not up to the hype food wise. But their staff and the environment was very nice.
