Reviews via GoogleWhat diners say — our read
One subject runs through these 20 reviews more than any other: the staff. Reviews mentioning front-of-house average 3.9 stars, so it divides opinion rather than settling it. After that, freshness and temperature appears most often — 25% of the corpus, averaging 3.4.
A third strand, speed of service, appears in 20% of them at 3.5 stars. The single most common rating left here is 5 stars (13 of 20). Of the 20 rated reviews, 15 sit at four stars or better and 4 at two or below.
Against that, the kitchen inspects well — an A (99/100), 1 basic violations at the most recent DBPR visit. The visit behind that grade was June 2, 2026. Across its inspection history the kitchen is declining, which argues for reading the older reviews with caution. That puts it ahead of 91% of graded kitchens in Volusia County. For specifics, the last inspection cited in-use food dispensing utensils properly stored.
With both signals pointing the same way, there is little to argue about on this listing. Full reviews follow below in the order they were left.

A couple veteran friends of mine, and our kids went to this inlet harbor location after a day at the science center and lighthouse. Upon arriving, we were greeted by a hostess who sent us to the bar at our left to have some drinks because she said it'd be a little wait to be seated. The guy at that bar who got our drinks, was very unfriendly, rude, and seemed to snob us because we ordered ice teas. The ice tea, which, was "thick", not flavorful, or refreshing. While waiting, a couple of people in our group walked to the rail to look at the water. A guy,,who appeared to be a manager, approached them and told them they had to go stand at the hostess station located at the entrance.it was explained to him our group had already done that, and the hostess directed us to get drinks, which ,we did pay cash for, yet this manager still said we had to go back to the hostess and wait. We explained our group was a bit large, it was extremely hot, we had kids, and veterans of age and already followed the hostess instructions and dealt with a rude bartender, the manager then told us, we could go back to the hostess stand and wait, or we could simply leave as it's their policy for all patrons to wait. He just was power tripping, rude, and a bit stuck up and certainly wasn't going to listen to customers or accommodate anyone. So, our group, 15 in total, left. It was obvious our business there didn't matter. Everyone agreed , none of us or our families will ever go back. What a shame…

Stopped in on a Thursday early evening to have a few drinks with a few people before we went on our Tiki Tour which takes off from the dock here at this restaurant. I kindly asked the gentlemen bartender if he knew where we boarded the Tiki tour just for some reassurance and friendly conversation. The fairly heavy set bartender surely didn't appreciate the question. He basically said " I don't know, we're not affiliated with them", and walked away. He works right where the Tiki boat docks out of so he basically LIED to us. He was rude and miserable. We almost ordered food as we were early for our tour and hungry, but with his dismissivness and noticing all the flies around the kitchen and the kitchen hand towels, the limes and lemons with no lids and flies on them, we changed our minds. It was pretty gross actually. I will never recommend this place to anyone and it's a shame , because it is in a nice location. Management needs to address a lot here.

Came around 6:30 was an hour and half wait for a table so we sat at the bar inside. Amazing service and food. Ashley made us amazing cocktails and is very friendly. We took her up on all of her recommendations and she nailed it every time! We shared the rock shrimp and tuna crostini appetizer.. YUM and we paired it with a margarita muddled with fresh fruit. For dinner she recommended Blackened grouper with the crab topping and add grilled shrimp.. AMAZING. Just when we thought it couldn’t get better. For dessert she made us the best chocolate martini and hot homemade Bread pudding… out of this world. This place is truly off the hook

Pretty good average food. On the Intracoastal. Has inside and outside seating. Picturesque.

Great location on the river

Katie was amazing!!!!!

Great service! Staff besides our waitress saw our drinks were low and got refills for us. We sat inside by the window with a nice view of the river. The food was mostly good but the corn on the cob was cold and the onion rings were not very crunchy and very thick batter. Everything else was really good!

Fish and chips were awesome, but fish came small like fish nugget, not like a thick fillet of fish. Disappointing

Had a Great Experience. Food and service was top notch. Will definitely visit while in Daytona again.

Live music is so loud you can’t hold a conversation, honestly. Hostess started with my family of four and quickly interrupted to accommodate a party of 21 even though we were already speaking when the party walked in. After ordering our drinks, the server did not come back until food was ordered and once food was ordered she did not come back until the food came. That was an hour and fifteen minutes later. My combo was cold and fries were soggy/cold. My wife and son shared the crab legs that were extremely overcooked and lacked meat. My daughter had the chicken quesadillas and they were great, along with my Cajun Bloody Mary. In all, not a good experience and I would not recommend it. I’m only speaking from our experience and no one else. Manager was extremely nice and accommodating to us. He would be the only reason we would go back at this point.

I quit coming awhile ago because the service and food were declining. I recently tried to give them another try yesterday and had a server named krista. She was very knowledgeable about the menu and very pleasant. She was the best waitress ive had since coming there and I will definitely be back. If you go there I suggest asking for her. The food was also way better than last time. Please keep it up and I will be recommending all my friends to come back.

Rock shrimp hittin hard! 10/10. Katie was the best server. Quick, funny, & went above & beyond. That's all you really need to know. Order the rock shrimp (or royal reds) & ask to be in Katie's section. The lady at the check in is cool too. Didn't get her name. Also, table 17 was Lame. Don't be table 17

Atmosphere is beautiful. Service is the biggest problem. No matter where you sit or when you go service is a hit or miss and lately a huge miss. Food was not up to par- one fish sandwich was so overdone it tasted burnt and the other fish sandwich had raw pieces. Sad but this hasn't been the first time.

Excellent fish tacos and homemade bread pudding was delicious

My favorite restaurant by the beach. Great food! Awesome service. Go enjoy some food and great live music. Pet freindly. 10 out of 10.
-
Sad to say, but food is not worth the price. We had seafood dishes. Would not recommend this place if you are looking to eat some good fish.

Easy pull up on the boat!

It's was on the water had a beautiful view Great place 😄. Definitely coming back soon. I got the spicy BBQ chicken sandwich with a basket of fries. The fries were nicely seasoned, the burger wasn't spicy enough for me but it's still tasted delicious. This is well off the hook. 10 out of 10. I will be back soon
