What diners say — our read

One subject runs through these 12 reviews more than any other: front-of-house. Reviewers who mention the staff rate this place 4.5 on average — it is working in the restaurant’s favour.

More reviewers landed on 5 stars than any other score — 11 of 12. Of the 12 rated reviews, 11 sit at four stars or better and 1 at two or below. Behind those, whether it is worth the money is raised in 17% of reviews (5.0 average).

The inspection lands in between as well: DBPR graded this kitchen a C (70/100), citing 3 high-priority, 1 intermediate, and 3 basic violations. That result dates from June 10, 2026. Across its inspection history the kitchen is improving, which argues for giving it the benefit of the doubt. Ranked against Volusia County, it is safer than 13% of the restaurants we score. What the inspector actually wrote up: cross-contamination and in-use food dispensing utensils properly stored.

This is a listing where the two measures each tell half the story. The reviews themselves follow, unedited and newest first.

We heard so much about for years. We did finally decide to go for lunch today. Best sushi in town. We used to live in California 6 years ago this is way better. Will be back again.
